Water Filters

Tryingtoheal
I am looking for the best water filter I can find. We have to have one that
can removed radioactive particles for the best price I can find for our
budget.

This one lists it removes: Radium, Radon, Uranium, Alpha Particles, Beta
Particles & Photon Emitters. Increased risk of cancer. MCL from 5 pCi/L.

http://www.thewaterexchange.net/what_s_kdf.html

Anyone here of it? It uses a KDF KDF® Process Media are high-purity,
granulated copper and zinc-based alloys that treat water through a process
based upon the principle of *redox* (Oxidation-Reduction). Originally, KDF
was shorthand for *Kinetic Degradation Fluxion*.  Basically, KDF creates
zinc oxide in the cartridge which helps stop bacteria from growing--it
actually killls bacteria--and allows the carbon to last

THINK NEED TO BUY NEW PERSONAL COMPUTER - ANYTHING TO WATCH OUT FOR?

Steph Smith
Hi everyone

AS most of you already know I have no technical capability or knowledge whatsoever so I would be extremely grateful for any advice or information anyone could send my way. I am in the process of trying to get broadband at home and have checked my pc's spec against the technical spec of the provider I am looking at and realise what i have falls way short of what is needed - I could upgrade the RAM but would still have a fairly powerless processor so am thinking of buying a new PC to sort of try to futureproof myself a bit - I know nothing about computers[beyond what I have set out above] so I am wondering can anyone advise me - as an Esser - what to look out for or to avoid when buying a PC an esser could use. I am going to aim for wired everything but was wondering - for example -  does a more powerful processor impact on ES?? any advice anyone could give would be very much appreciated. Many thanks

Steph

1) apple computers are low EMF.
2) ethernet, not wifi... of course.  :)
3) sit as far away from all the outlets,
transformers, etc - as you can.

Steph,

I bought a used 09, Dell 960 Optiplex.Quad Core desttop.
 No wi-fi inside.

It's great, no vibrations. We're using hardwired fiber-optics. We noticed
less floor vibrations when we got rid of DSL. EMF's came over the lines.

I find that some PC's provoke nasty symptoms in me, while others do not.
I don't think you can generalize that "faster computers" are the problem,
because one of the nastiest computers I ever used was a laptop from
the 1990s!

I currently use PC desktop tower computers at both home and work,
both are a few years old, and both seem okay.  My work computer is
a Dell Optiplex 960 (same as Kathy is using!), and my home computer
is a Lenovo m58e.  I'm sure there are lots of other good computers
out there...

Re: THINK NEED TO BUY NEW PERSONAL COMPUTER - ANYTHING TO WATCH OUT FOR?

charles-4
*dirty power* are the frequencies which may be present in your mains electricity net.

*dirty air* (as I have named it) are the frequencies which are floating in space.
They do come from electrical appliances. Even room thermostats of the central heating may give *dirty air*. I can measure them at a distance of 5 meters.

I have special measuring detectors and spectrumanalysers to measure them.
They are in the frequency range of 5kHz up to 30MHz, which is outside the normal measuring frequency range of standard meters.
(The Stetzer filters and the Stetzerizer meter go up to 150kHz. The Entech meter goes up to 800kHz.)

Be aware that these powerplugs are the pest. Although the transmitting signal is about 20MHz, they have dirty frequencies in the aforementioned frequencie range.

Overhere I am confronted with these frequencies on earthing or groundings.
 That is a big problem.

Yes, I personally would not trust just any Apple computer.
The one's I've tried in the stores caused symptoms right away.
I've read here that some of the older "Mac Mini" models (without a monitor)
were okay, but I think the original question was about more
recent computers.

I think PC's allow you more flexibility, so you can experiment
with different types of monitors, monitor cables, keyboards, mice...
and the EMF protection software that I'm aware of runs
on Windows computers, not Macs.

well, i use an EMF PowerPro to control
the emissions from electrical systems

at reducing the ambient 'dirty air' and
are reasonably priced... one or two
works throughout the entire house,
usually.

Marc,

Internet comes though a  converter box the same one that cableTV comes out
of, goes directly into 1 computer, then
we use a router we have to disable to connect 2 of our computers w Ethernet

. I need to get a hardwired router, What kind did you say are still
available?

Funny thing,  help me out, my daughter unplugged the cable box to sleep,
the internet still worked? Guess fiber-optics is different.

They have a phone box I had them put in the basement, away from everyone.

The EMF PowerPro is a product similar to Stetzer, only they advertise that their filters reduce electricity consumation.

But these filters as well as the meter only go up to 150kHz.
And they only work on *dirty power*, certainly not on *dirty air*!

When you say "router", do you mean that the inputs and the outputs
are all Ethernet?  If so, I'd suggest getting an "Ethernet switch" for
that -- I use a Netgear FS108, but it's got the old linear power supply
and I'm sure the new ones use a  new switching power supply (I don't
think I really notice the difference, but some people here much
prefer the older linear power supplies).

If by "router" you mean that the input is coax cable and the
output is Ethernet, then I don't have a specific recommendation
for this.  I do know there was a particular model that had been
recommended here before that worked on Comcast cable, but
I'd had to search for that to find it again.  I think it was Bill
Bruno who recommended it...

Why would a broadband provider care about what kind of PC you have?
Seems like broadband should work with any PC manufactured
in the past 15 years!

I've had good luck with computers bought through safelevel.com where they are used to dealing with emf sensitive people.  I have no financial interest in this business, just recommending it.

Many thanks

so how is dirty air made?  by dirty electricity?
if a filter collects the electricity so that it
doesn't move on out into the living space, is
that not cleaning the air as well?  ???  i don't
know all the terms you are using, charles.
perhaps you could define your terms more
clearly.  sorry that i speak only english... i do
speak french, but only conversationally, surely
not technically.  thanks.
love, patricia
