I'm thinking about getting one, I assume it's different than the CellSensor Gauss meter I have. Does anyone own a Electrosmog Detector? I want to see exactly what I'm being exposed to with those Smart Meters.
I haven't had a decent nights sleep since they were installed. SDGE lied to me about them transmitting once every 8 hours. I've since read that it's either every 4 hours or every hour. Does anyone else hear an odd sounding chirp when they transmit or am I hearing something else? Steve |
If it's sending microwaves the electrosmog detector should pick it up.
It won't tell you the strength. An AM radio might detect it too just because the power supply will use more current and make lower impedance dirty power when transmitting. It will be kind of vexing to look for a signal that transmits so infrequently. A better way would be to get an Aaronia with USB interface so your computer can record it all day long. You could also hook the electrosmog detector to some kind of recorder (it has headphone output). Hi Steve,
I own an electrosmog detector and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I now know why I was getting sick so often. It has really helped me identify sources of radiation so I can stay away from them. One suggestion for the Smartmeter--how about hanging some Swiss Shield Naturelle Daylite material on the wall where the meter is? That should help deflect the radiation. The great thing about the material is that it's portable so you can take it with you if you move. I had radiation coming in my house from the neighbors and I hung a big sheet of this material on the wall and it solved the problem. Just tacked it up on the wall. So the incoming radiation didn't just "go-around" the sheet where it was not hung up? And it did not bounce-back interior sources of radiation? You noticed an improvement in symptoms from the Swiss Shield Naturelle Daylite material? Marc |

90 dollars seems like a lot of money for that.
I don't know much about meters, but that type only makes a bit noise when you're very very close to the source. I got one 5 years ago, don't think it was that expensive (or maybe I forgot!), anyway the measuring was kinda useless, I already knew back then that dect/wifi emit emf! It seems like a good toy for a child to learn what's sending high freq. emf! For instance a dect-phone: you go in another room and I don't think it does measure the emf anymore... So it's even useless if you want to check your neighbours? Here are the Gigahertz-meters I think are quite higly recommended. The HF32D is more expensive but at least useful. There are probably other good meters (and cheaper) too. http://www.gigahertz-solutions.com/en/Online-Shop/Measurement.html I just remember Charles made an entire pdf on this, probably worthwhile if you want to buy sth: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/eSens/message/19960 --- In [hidden email], "torch369" <torch369@...> wrote: > > I think Shivani sells one at lifeenergies.com for $90. Hello Stephen,
with this posting you do show, that you really do not know about meters. And you give wrong information. The 90 dollars is the right price for it. The Electrosmog Detector is certainly not a child's toy. It is a nice detector. The negative thing about it, I find that it starts giving sounds at, in my opinion, too high level of radiation. So, weak signals, it does not detect. Here the Esmog Spion is superior. And I have heard that the british Acousimeter is not bad either. One should never, ever recommend a HF32D. This meter does not have an audio analysis, so you do not know what kind of signal you are measuring. A starting model is the HF35C. Neil,
I have heard of that happening and they were able to trace it to the street lights being turned on. I can have trouble in the middle of the night because of cell tower usage. I thought cell towers would be in less use at that time but evidently not true due to electronic updates going out in the middle of the night. There are at least 4 factors that can cause problems for EHS:
-Wireless (cell phone, cell tower, Wifi, cordless phone, baby monitor, etc.) - RF meter -Dirty electricity (CFL) - GS meter -Electrical/grounding - Body voltage and electrical field meter -AC magnetic fields - Gaussmeter Check 3 out of 4 and yet you could have still missed on a key factor... If you turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker panel, then that could help determine whether the source is internal to your home or external. --- In [hidden email], Jennie Wassenaar <ad-in@...> wrote: > > Neil, > > I have heard of that happening and they were able to trace it to the street > lights being turned on.
