Hello everyone! I just found this site and was so excieted to find that there are more people out there with the same problems! I always thought I was just jinkeses and had bad luck with electronics. I break almost everything I touch for too long shock everyone I touch and always have problems with cell phones. I do have a question for everyone: do you see that when your in a good mood or very happy that the electric shocks are more stronger? This happens to me all the time but it seems that when I am happy I tend to break electronics or scamble up the frequencys more. The other day I went to put a movie in the PS3 and reset the whole thing! My husband had to input all the data back into it again for the third time. I'm afraid one of these days I'm going to erase the memory and it can not be restored. [;)] I'v done that on my coputer before I corupted the memory sticks and crashed the computer! lol [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

It sounds like you might have a different problem -- the people in this group (in general) don't cause problems for electronic equipment, but rather the electronic equipment causes problems for us! Of course, I'm sure that there are people who have both problems... Marc |

Shoes which prevent the electricity buildup in your person from dissipating will cause the most problems with shocks. Barefeet causes the least problems. :-) I buy shoes with static dissipative soles, which pretty much eliminates most of my shock problems. Marc |

Hi, Lag,
That is how I USED to be! When I first came to this forum, everyone here thought I did not have ES-- that "type" of ES is not the kind of ES most here have. But I soon did find out what they had, because when I reacted badly to yet another in a long line of chemical toxins (I was and stillam multiple chemically sensitive--look up "TILT", "toxin induced loss of tolerance"), it made me the sort of ES that most people here are talking about when they say they have ES. Before that, my reactions were merely annoying (and expensive--I broke a computer, alot of watches, etc.). After it became downright painful and illness provoking. (But I am doing much better at the moment.) I did not see reactions were stronger when I was happy--that happened when I was ill or upset, tho! I sometimes broke lightbulbs, a half dozen or so on the same day, just by trying to turn on lamps when I was ill. I once completely fried a 2 yo computer because I was emotionally upset about something. I am now studying "energy medicine"--meridians, radiant currents,.... I have found I have blockages in my lymphatic system and meridians and that various energy exercises help me. A word of warning--take care of your lymphatic problems now before you, too, have the painful kind of ES! You are likely a toxin waiting to happen. Welcome to the group! Hi again, Laurena, (lovely name, btw!)
Yes, that was true for me too--I had problems when I went barefoot too. I have gotten in the habit of releasing electricity by "grounding" myself in various ways, tho--sitting on the ground, touching metal, hugging trees (no joke). (See, Mike, I am nurturing a serious side. ;) ) Most people report discipating electricity when they shock themselves once on metal, but I can touch metal 2 or 3 times in a row and shock myself. So I am careful not to touch metals for my first shock--that can produce sparks and really hurt. I have a fur coat which I touch often to discipate electricity, instead. I wonder.... do you "vibrate"? Some of us here vibrate, expecially when we lie down on metal spring mattresses, etc (tho I had that for many many years no matter what type of mattress I used). I was wondering if thoseof us who store alot of electricity are the vibrators? (B12, tho, has been still working for me to cure that problem at night.) This is a very common phenomenon.
All kinds of elektrosmog fields are transformed inside the body into weak AC currents, the body electricity. Ideal is 30 mV. Most people do have 300-800 mV. An electrical blanket gives 4.000 mV. And I found with a woman, sleeping on a waterbed 55.000 mV, that is 55 Volts !!! Be aware, that static magnetic fields also may result in these AC tensions. So, 12/24 V halogen bulbs, fluorescent lamps, bedside electrical clocks, television sets, wearing fleece jackets and other elektrosmog sources may be the reason of building up these AC currents. To those who walk near someone and shock them, vibrate, or carry high body voltage, I am curious about their children. I heard an interview with Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD Director of the Klinghardt Academy of Neurobiology. His research indicates that the body voltage of women who gave birth to children with autism spectrum disorders was extremely higher than those women with typical children.
Median Body Voltage Level in Mom's Bed During Pregnancy* Value Range Neurologically Impaired Children 1,872 milliVolts (380-6,040) Healthy Group 224 milliVolts (12-480) I am curious to know if you have any children. If so do they have any neurological impairments? Thanks, Christine Hoch mother to a child that formerly had autism |
Nope my children are fine. My son is 12yrs old and is adv. in every subject, my daughter is 8 she has the same problem as me. My mom, myself, my daughter all tend to mess with electric devices and shock everything and everybody. I have one sister no brothers she does not have any problems. I always thought it was just passed down from my mom. Not to sound like I'm braggingbut I also have a very high IQ. I have my masters in Psych. and in behavior science, I am currently working on my PHD in abnormal Psych. School comesvery easy for me. I have researched my condition and found no results other then this forum.

Synthetic fibers in clothing, carpets, padding, are probably the biggest
causes of ESD (electrostatic discharge, aka shocks). Shoes can make a big difference too. Also low humidity. If you vibrate and haven't got a meter that detects electric fields, I would recommend getting one. The tri-field should do it. But again get rid of all your switch mode transformers (wall warts and other electronics), or at least keep them away from you and off at night. Hi, Christine,
I had 3 miscarriages and one son who made it to full-term (32 yo), and who is also completely fine, healthwise. Not that I consider this really relevant, but he was also at the top of his class (as was I--tho I was always as scatter-brained as a person could be. lol) When I was in my late 30s, I was out shopping one day and became so undone, mentally and physically, that I could not remember how to get home, what a green or red lightmeant, could remember no phone numbers of family members..... I was totally mentally incapacitated for several hours, and then, just as quickly asthis came on, it went! I regained all mental functioning and got homesafely. I had many events, just not this bad, that were similar, tho. I finally found that I had celiac disease, and that seemed to help me alot on that front--tho my short-term memory is still not 100% and I am still scatter-brained. ;) It was interesting tho that when I went gluten-free, I reacted as tho I was having herx-heimer reactions and got very aggitated and fitful! I was either in an aggressive rage or sitting in a pile staring at the wall! (Neither extreme was at all characteristic of me.) This is not how celiacs act going gf, but in my searching the internet,I found this was how autistic children act when going gf! I just alwaysfound that interesting, esp later, in light of the toxin issues I have dealt with. I can't help but think autism is a combo of toxins and emf effects. Yes, I have heard Dr. Klinghardt speak. Very interesting, his findings. How does this square with what you know personally of autism, Christine? You mention your child formerly had autism. How is it that your child overcame that--if you do not mind sharing. Chelation, supplementation....? (I think you may have told me before privately. Are you the British woman I sent some info to several years ago???) How is your child (son?) doing now, in all ways-- is he reacting to es alot? I have recently wondered whether my body voltage and toxic issues were the cause of my miscarriages. I saw recently that there are "mummy wraps"--maternity blouses to wear during pregnancy to lessen emfs. Looking forward to hearing your opinions and experience, Diane --- On Sun, 4/5/09, christine_hoch <[hidden email]> wrote: From: christine_hoch <[hidden email]> Subject: [eSens] Impact on your children To: [hidden email] Date: Sunday, April 5, 2009, 12:18 PM To those who walk near someone and shock them, vibrate, or carry high body voltage, I am curious about their children. Hi, Paul, Bill, and Laurena,
I find that wearing rubber soled shoes both helps and make things worse--depending on the situation. I wear them because I tend to pick up energies. Of course, this then means I am not grounded and so I must discharge energy more often (or I become like you, Laurena). The doctors I have seen (or have talked to by phone) who understand anything at all about es, seem to concur that it is the toxins built up in my body (both metals and other toxins) which cause this problem, by attracting emfs to my body. So, it is not a matter of type of clothing (I wear only natural fibers) or the other contributors that you , Paul, (and Bill) mention, in my case, as beingthe largest contributors of built-up electrical energy in my body. I am beginning to understand a connection with body polarity and body currents and how these can be affected by toxins and emfs. This is not thathard to fathom if one realizes we are all just big walking batteries. It has been easier for me to understand what is going on since I havetaken this approach and I have been able to identify more things which either do help or have the potential to help. Often these are small changes, or even go against what I have thought in the past to be helpful. For instance, the last doctor I talked to told me to wear rubber gloves when plugging things in. I got a nasty shock that caused on-going index finger numbness recently because I didn't do this and I was putting a coffee filter into a coffee pot while reaching to plug the coffee pot in. The electricity went thru my body and out the opposite index fingerand sparked on the tiny spring on the bottom of the plastic coffee filter basket which I was not even touching! So, for some of us, rubber is protective. While for you, Marc, and others here, perhaps, conductive shoes (the opposite concept) and other approaches are more successful. Grounding is a great thing, for both camps, as long as you are losing the emfs, tho, instead of taking them on. In a recent post SArguna made, she related various types of reactions to emfs and how it affects the calcium ion channels in various people in different ways. I suspect that this is one reason why some of us react one way and others react another. But time will tell the tale. Hi again, Laurena,
Unless you are going to a doctor who is a specialist in environmental toxins or es issues, don't expect much! Even then, grill the snot out of the doctor to make sure he knows what you are talking about and not just givingyou a big line! lol (I have caught a number of doctors giving me a big line!) Best read up on lymphatic congestion yourself. Here are afew good place to start: http://www.diagnose-me.com/cond/C162576.html http://www.ehcd.com/ You can google lymphatic congestion and come up with alot of info quickly. Good luck, Diane --- On Sun, 4/5/09, Rena Gilbert <[hidden email]> wrote: From: Rena Gilbert <[hidden email]> Subject: Re: [eSens] New Group Member To: [hidden email] Date: Sunday, April 5, 2009, 1:05 AM Diane, I am so happy to hear someone else had the same problem. I talked to my Dr about it and they did a bunch of test on me and found nothen I will bring up lyphatic problem maybe something can be done about this. Thank you! --- On Fri, 4/3/09, Evie <evie15422@yahoo. com> wrote: From: Evie <evie15422@yahoo. com> Subject: Re: [eSens] New Group Member To: eSens@yahoogroups. com Date: Friday, April 3, 2009, 3:30 PM Hi, Lag, That is how I USED to be! I am now studying "energy medicine"--meridian s, radiant currents,... . I have found I have blockages in my lymphatic system and meridians and that various energy exercises help me. A word of warning--take care of your lymphatic problems now before you, too, have the painful kind of ES! You are likely a toxin waiting to happen. Welcome to the group! [;)] I'v done that on my coputer before I corupted the memory sticks and crashed the computer! lol [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
