Based on the recommendations of others in another group (metals), I think it might be wise to improve your health before starting to try to actively remove heavy metals from your system, should you find that you are indeed suffering from heavy metal poisoning as Marc suggested. It is my opinion that, particularly since you can hear hum from emf's, you would be wise to immediately reduce your exposure to these to the best of your ability (this could mean having someone help you to rearrange your house so that you live and sleep as far away from fields as possible, which I imagine you are able to feel, or even temporarily relocating until you are sufficiently recovered, if this is an option). I think it would also be wise to ensure that, where possible, you are not adding anything to your system that could be aggravating your condition - have a very good look at your diet and surroundings and try to avoid any sources of: -heavy metals (e.g. shellfish, tuna, water from lead pipes and you can even get some mouthwashes that apparently remove mercury from any dental fillings you might have) -emf's (e.g. sleeping near household wiring in walls or using any electrical appliances in your sleeping environment, ESPECIALLY electric blankets) -environmental pollutants (e.g. volatile organic chemicals from household cleaners etc. and air excessively polluted by smokestacks and car exhaust). I am not suggesting that you go and live in a tent in the jungle for a while, although this would probably help us all get healthier:), but instead I am suggesting that you immediately do whatever you can to easily reduce your exposure to anything that could be harmful (metals, emfs, pollutants) and, in connection with a healthy diet, try in this way to improve your health so that you have a better chance of a less painful recovery and to give you the energy to then actively rebuild your health. Faulty diet and antibiotics may predispose your system to candida. Probiotics supplements and other changes may be needed to start the process of healing. hi marc,
I found this info against chelation using EDTA, hope you enjoy it Flavio --- In [hidden email], Marc Martin <marc@u...> wrote: > >From these assaults I've also developed tinnitus, inflamation of the > >gall >bladder and liver, irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion, pseudo > >porphyria with >itchy skin, short term memory loss, pseudo hypoglycemia, > >blurred vision and an >over-run of candidas. I don't see anything on this page which even discussed EDTA. Nevertheless, many things on the Internet are controversial, with people claiming that things are safe while others claim they are dangerous. Unfortunately, it's left up to us to figure out who is right and who is wrong. And yes, chelation of heavy metals in general can be dangerous... however, leaving the heavy metals in you can also keep you ill for the rest of your life. But I do agree with Lachlan -- the first step in recovery should be in rebuilding your strength and energy. Chelation can follow later when you're feeling better. Too often, Doctors like to do chelation first, which can cause more damage than good. Marc |

Yes, you may be right about the heavy metal poisoning. I have one large mercury filling left that I plan on having removed as soon as I can afford it. From the information that I have gathered I did not see any evidence that the mercury causes porphyria. --------------------------------- Post your free ad now! Yahoo! Seems like there is are many sites making such a connection -- also they are making connections with chemical toxicity and aluminum toxicity, which would indicate a general detoxification routine might be more helpful than a mercury-specific one. I'm not so sure about fresh-water algaes such as spirulina and chlorella though -- often these are contaminated with heavy metals themselves! Although if they are known to be pure and if you eat them in a small enough amount not to cause adverse reaction, they should be fine. Marc |

Hi Glenn, Marc etc..
I joined this group recently and yes - its good to have others to talk about regarding ES. I have milder symptoms now than before, am cured of 50hz, still have problems with mobile phones, large EMF fields etc - I'll post more of my story later when It's not so late (here in Australia). Anyhow - on water - has anyone tested the Wellness filters for ES sufferers? - I used to get dry peeling skin on my hands which I was told was due to the chlorine in the water (its hot here so apparently they put more cloriine in the water) so I bought a wellness shower filter and those problems have gone completely! Re ES, I work with computers daily and had slept next to an electrical meter box on the reverse of our bedroom wall (1 foot or so away with a reading of between 50-200mg) while using 3 computer monitors during the day for about 10 years (the radiating type of course!) I then worked in a wireless network/phone environent (200 or so wireless devices within 50 meters) for a couple of years, and was always hyper and uncomfortable in there. I now work at home and have physically moved away from most of the electrical items - have Dual LCD screens, and am looking at getting the house rewired as it is wired in a strange way that puts fields through our house due to the neutral line from others houses discharging to earth through our water pipe and ground stake (even though the water pipe has been isolated from the street with a plastic sheath!). This 'non'-current passes through all our bedrooms (I have 3 children) and though they are low where we have placed all the beds, it limits what you can do with the rooms. I alos know 2 people who have extreme symptoms, 1 in the US and another here in Australia, who became sensitive over-night by holding a mobile phone to one ear and a cordless walkabout phone to the other at the same time - she felt something weird happen in her head and Bingo - she now eats with candles not electric lights as the electricity flowing in the wires hurts her too much. I believe there are so many explanations of the emotional kind relating to domestic and corporate electrical causes, road rage, hyperactivity, that its possible that ES is affecting most people now and yet most dont know it is possible so don't ever attribute it correctly, and of course the medical community has to play catch up. I recently handed my GP (Doctor) a booklet explaining EMF ES and have yet to go back and get a comment but it will be interesting.. I really should go get some sleep but its nice to be a participant in this forum - especially as we can pool research and ideas and maybe help each other a little. Thats interesting - I had 22 Amalgams removed about 6 months ago and it helped greatly to my sensitivity Australian (50hz) mains EMF fields. I guess this would count as heavy metal poisening (Mercury) but i did not chelate or do anything else afterwards - any hints on some further metal toxicity removal that might be worth looking at? Hello,
I am waiting to receive the Radar card I purchased two days ago before reading this post. I really hope that it works for me and that I do not experience the agitated or irritated feeling mentioned. I will let you know how it turns out. My name is Ron and I just joined this great support group. My problems started when I began working with computers four years ago. I realized that I have sensitivity to cell phones, two-way radios, computers, and other wireless communication devices. My Symptoms include muscle spasms in my neck, pinched nerve pain in my lower back and hip area, and inflamed bumps on my scalp. Has anyone received treatment or had an experience with the Environmental Health Center-Dallas, Texas? (http://www.environmentalhealthcenter.com) They claim to treat EMF sensitive people. Ron |

After I read about the connection between ES and mercury poisoning, I had the 5 remaining ones replaced. One thing I noted was that I temporarily improved a great deal, but then things returned back to the way they used to be after a few days. Subsequent visits to the dentist made me think that it was actually the novocaine shot which temporarily improved my symptoms. The removal of the amalgams did get rid of an electric sensation going on inside of my mouth (some people call this a "battery effect", caused by dissimilar metals in the mouth and the saliva, which is worsened by exposure to EMF fields), so that was definitely one immediate improvement. > I guess this would count as heavy metal poisening (Mercury) but i did > not chelate or do anything else afterwards - any hints on some further > metal toxicity removal that might be worth looking at? This is a very controversial topic. Some doctors just start using prescription IV/oral chelators (DMPS,DMSA,EDTA), but this can sometimes make a person far worse if their body isn't healthy enough (plus it's very expensive). On the other extreme is to do nothing, and just let your body get rid of the metals at its own own pace. Others try using natural foods/herbs which which help it move out faster than doing nothing, and (hopefully) safer than the prescriptions -- things like cilantro, chlorella, garlic, and sea vegetables (e.g, kombu, wakame, etc) fall into this category. I've tried a variety of things, and it seems that each method has it's own advantages and disadvantages, and also dosage is critical -- if it makes you feel bad, reduce your intake until it doesn't! I've also been experimenting with chia seeds (like those found in chia pets!), and this also seems to be very powerful (and cheap!), although I have not read anywhere that it's supposed to be a heavy metal chelator. Hi Marc,
"made me think that it was actually the Novocaine shot which temporarily improved my symptoms" So where can I buy Novocaine ? :-) Seriously tho - I had the 'battery effect' a lot - a nasty tingling sensation with a lot of saliva generated.. I noticed this happened often around mobile towers.. That was pretty weird.. Anyhow - I too feel this a lot less now the amalgams are removed - however I still feel it a little when very close to a source of EMF such as a TV or NAD amp power transformer.. These seeds - do you get them from a pet shop then? > "made me think that it was actually the Novocaine
> shot which temporarily improved my symptoms" > So where can I buy Novocaine ? :-) Heh, heh... although the novocaine suppressed my reaction to EMF, I'm not sure this was a good thing, as novocaine itself is supposed to be fairly toxic. Previously I noted that taking antibiotics suppressed my reaction to EMF, although I was certainly not going to take antibiotics continually for the rest of my life! > a lot less now the amalgams are removed - however I still feel it a > little when very close to a source of EMF such as a TV or NAD amp power > transformer.. Taking away the fillings removes all the obvious sources of metal in your mouth. Unfortunately, over the decades your cells have absorbed a lot of metals, so I think these are still reacting to the EMF fields. Getting these metals out of your body can take several years, but is still a worthwhile thing to do (I've been at it for 3 years already). > These seeds - do you get them from a pet shop then? Sometimes a local health food store will carry them. Otherwise you'll need to order them on the Internet and have them mailed to you, which is what I did. I bought mine at: http://www.celtic-seasalt.com/chiaseeds.html The generally suggested intake for these seeds is a tablespoon per day. However, I had a massive detox reaction to this amount, so I kept reducing my dosage until I merely felt better during the day after taking them. For me, this dosage was miniscule -- less than 1/8 of a teaspoon! In fact, I count the seeds I'm taking each day to get it right -- I'm taking about 30 seeds per day. At that rate, a one pound bag could last a lifetime! (however, my tolerance for these should increase as I detoxify further) Marc |
