Hello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself... I've had severe ES for a number of years now (facial skin itching, burning, lesions) and I've set-up and realised a website http://www.electrosensitivity.org where I provide basic information and advice on electrosensitivity. You can view my story at http://www.electrosensitivity.org/mystory.htm (I will be posting more photo's and information on how I manage to use computer etc. soon). It's my own corner of the web where, hopefully, I can do my bit amongst all the work that other people are doing, to enhance the awareness of this condition where possible. Obviously everyone is differentand there is perhaps a whole multitude of mechanisms that underly electrosensitivity. But I can say that since dicovering I had ES (maybe 4-6 years ago), I have have undergone a series of detoxification treatments and I am pleased to say I am around 50% CURED! I have found the 2 most effective treatments for me to be: 1) Sauna therapy - L Ron Hubbards controversial detoxification program 2) Hulda Clark's Liver flushes - Notice a significant improvement after each flush Troy |
Hey, Troy!
Nice to meet you. Great to hear you are doing so well! I have been researching both treatments you mentioned helped you most--the L Ron Hubbard detox program and Hulda Clark's liver flush! Did you do the L Ron Hubbard treatment on your own thru his book or did you go to a treatment center, if I may ask? I was wondering how hard it is to do yourself, if you know? (I am familiar with the various parts of the treatment--niacin flush, FIR sauna, frequent showering, supplements, exercise....) I have not read his book yet as it is out of print. I got the various steps of the treatment online (at www.nydetox.org), but was not sure I could do the supplemental part on my own. So any info or advise you have, I would love to hear. I also have come a long way by detoxing (from mostly bed-bound to able to do gardening, housework, etc; tho I still have some stamina issues from time to time). However, I still have much detoxing to do. I have spent the last year detoxing, but have recently been told by my nutritionist that he thinks I have been recycling alot of the toxins back into my adipose fat and organs. (My elimination systems--lymphs, liver, kidneys--are fairly dysfunctional due to the damage of 4 decades of untreated celiac disease.) Anyway, I would be very interested in anything you have to say about either of these therapies. Welcome to the group! Science and medicine can stall and claim ignorance for the next few decades while the folks here will be long-since recovered via self-treatment. Marc |

Hi Diane,
Thanks for the site comments. :-) I did the sauna therapy from home for one month. It consisted of - as you say - niacin flush, sauna, showering, excercise and so on. The book I used was 'Clear Body, Clear Mind' which is currently available on amazon.com. It was fairly rigourous and it takes up most of the day (lots of rest to recover). As far as the supplemental part goes, I consulted the book and ordered a huge amount of vitamins & supplements and spent ages working out the exact amounts ot take of everything. After about a week though, I felt just so sick from them that I just took what I could (which wasn;t much) and carried on with the rest of the program. I have to say, I was a bit dejected after completing it as it didn't seem to make a lot of difference at first. But I gradually began to notice the improvements in the coming weeks & months afterwards. from what I gather from the book, you will notice perhaps half the improvement right after the program, and then the body will detoxify itself for up to a year afterwards. I think that is the case for me. I would say do it if you can. I ordered a home sauna unit from the MCS relief company - which I would recomend (although last time I looked, their site had vanished from the web). I will send you the number of Fred Nelson who builds them if you want via personal email. i beleive I paid about £500 ($900), or was it $500?!. I can't remember, but it's good value. As for the Hulda Clark liver flushes, i found them excellent. I have done about 7. Right after the first one, I notied that my symtpoms were significantly improved. Keep in touch and let me know how any of it goes! Troy --- In [hidden email], Evie <evie15422@...> wrote: > > Hey, Troy! > > Nice to meet you. Great to hear you are doing so well! From where I'm standing, it certainly appears to be toxicity for me and lots of other people. I try to give a balanced view of the situation though, and try not to lean too heavily in one direction and give people false hope. But as I said in my previous post, I am 50% cured from doing detox treatments, and believe there is definately a way out of this condition. I'll keep reading the archived posts here, but it would be great to hear about any treatments which people have found effective, so I can post them on the site. Troy |

Welcome Troy,
You did a good job on that site, especially for your young age. I sent a link of your story to some friends whose teenage son about lives at the monitor. Being closer to his age, I think he may pay attention and make some adjustments, or at least be aware when symptoms would arise. :) **** Hey all, I found recently in the U.S. that some insurance co. will pay for home infrared saunas if Rx'd by a Dr. for pain management. I don't know if this includes Medicaid, but it's approved by the FDA, so it might be worth your checking into. ~ Snoshoe --- In [hidden email], "Troy Knight" <mentalwealth@...> wrote: > > Hello everyone, > > I just wanted to introduce myself... Hi again, Troy,
First and foremost, avoiding and eliminating as many toxins as possible from my environment has helped. This included, for me, many foods, esp gluten grains and bean and soy flours, almost all processed foods, sugar and sweeteners of all ilks. I also eliminated all cleaning chemicals, anti-perspirants, hair spray, makeup, etc, etc, etc. No teflon, petrochemicals, and I avoid chlorine and fluoride and as much plastics as possible, tho I find these to be evermore elusive. I avoid exhaust fumes and smoke from fires and ciggies, etc, as much as possible. I also avoid emfs and the like as much as possible. EFT and slapping above my wrists and ankles, the top of my head, beating on my breast bone, collar bone, etc, seems to help me. (When I am feeling brain foggy and like my lymphs are sluggish.) Very low carb diet helps get the toxins out of fat, but once you get them out you have to be able to get them totally out of the body, which is where I have had most problems. Even so, I have done alot along that line which includes: Epsom salts and sea salt soaking (helps to open pores in skin and pulls out debris); Showering and washing hair at least once a day--I mainly detox thru my skin and scalp, so this has been important for me. I should actually do it much more often than that but there are only so many minutes in a day! Rebounding on a mini-tramp (helps lymph fluid to move more effectively) Drinking alot more water, quality filtered and negative hydrogen ion water (toxic wastes are acidic and can lead to metabolic acidosis) More electrolytes (and these have even more effect with the alkaline water--has to do with zeta potential of the blood to carry toxins. Snoshoe sent a site awhile back about this which I can resend if you are interested.) Supplements that help--well, for me, that has been almost every supplement I have tried due to having multiple nutrient deficiencies from celiac disease. However, these are the ones that have helped my lymphatics and their symptoms: Pantethine--start small and work up to 8 or 10 (300mg) caps/day in 3 doses or more Calcium AEP--start small and work up to 8 or 10 caps/day in 3 doses or more (this is 100mg calcium 2 amino ethanol phosphate with 900mg of amino ethanol phosphate added) CoQ10--work up to 300mg/day in divided doses Molybdenum, chromium picolinate, selenium, alpha lipoeic acid--could barely tolerate each of these at first due to them moving toxins; I had to break apart caps for all of these and the previously listed ones and take fractions of caps to begin with. Molybdenun is something most would not need. I need it because I do not eat grains, but it made a big difference for me. There are various other supplements that have helped alot but I'm not sure whether it was in a detoxing capacity, so I will stop there. Since I am having liver detox pathway problems, my nutritionist has suggested new supplements. I have just received these today and have not tried them yet. These are sold by him but you can probably find like products elsewhere: Sulphur Plus--for the sulphonization pathway--MSM sulphur + Trimethylglycine Daily Balancer--for the glutathione pathway--it is a mix of amino acids and root extracts The liver detox pathway problems, we have decided, are probably why I am having problems with many toxins to begin with. I realized this problem while researching detoxing and brought it to his attention. He also has suggested high fiber which gives the toxins something to hold onto during elimination (6 grams of psyllium or other fiber). But my digestive tract is not able to handle more than half a gram, so we are working on healing my digestive tract further with glutamine, etc. He has made me aware, tho, that this is where I am having a breakdown of moving the toxins out. He was very concerned about this (I wasn't, but he has made me aware that this can be a very dangerous condition, as I am reconcentrating toxins into less fat and more organs if they are not coming out thru bowel, etc, once I mobilize them. He was so concerned that he wants me to stop losing weight and gain weight until I have the fiber problem worked out.) These are what have helped me (off the top of my head lol), Diane Troy Knight <[hidden email]> wrote: I'll keep reading the archived posts here, but it would be great to hear about any treatments which people have found effective, so I can post them on the site. --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Karen,
I consulted one my ES experts about your discharge problems, and they agreed that these symptoms are indeed considered to be part of ES, and are not known under a separate name. They noted that these symptoms are commonly seen with people who have near-death experiences (!). They provided some suggestions: * wear grounded shoes * wear cotton clothing instead of synthetics * avoid metal jewelry, zippers, snaps * detox heavy metals, raise body pH But I suspect that you are doing all these things already... Hi Troy,
My name is Karen, I have fluorosis, a skeltal bone condition caused by WAY too much electiricty via chemicals I was exposed to at work. You, young sir, have done a tremendous job! Both in pulling yourself together and in putting that informative web site up. Just a great collection of information organized well, easy to read, and informative. I hope you find the inforamtion in this group useful to you. I would hope that you put its link on your web site. There is much information and exchange of ideas where collaboration and communication could greatly enhance understanding of thisvery serious and debilitating condition. Welcome... Hi, Marc,
Thanks so much for doing the research into this! I have had problems with discharge symptoms most of my life and have actually had several near death experiences (tho by that I do not mean the kind where people leave theirbodies and hover outside them or go to other places). I cannot imagine how that would enter into the equation, but it is an interesting finding. I have had discharge symptoms since I was at least 6 yo, tho, which was before I had my near-death experiences. When I was 6 yo my father gave me aCinderella watch for Christmas. It was the first in a long line of watches and batteries that died in my care. I have always thought the salt on my skin is somehow part of the problem. Karen mentions a glitter to her skin, too. You techie guys might be able to go somewhere with this, where I haven't got a clue. But, is there some sort of electrical link to salt which would cause discharge? When I was little, I used to suck the back of my hand which always tasted salty and glistened (my skin was glittery all over). I also notice that the discharges get worse when I have had a particularly bad toxic exposure. Thanks Marc, Diane Marc Martin <[hidden email]> wrote: Karen, I consulted one my ES experts about your discharge problems, and they agreed that these symptoms are indeed considered to be part of ES, and are not known under a separate name. Yeah...it was near death all right. A little too near. You know, Marc, I have often said that it
felt like I died. Really. So basically, I keep doing what I am doing. Could you determine or ask someone, what temperature should I be? I am comfortable at an ambient 114 - 127 F. How much should I weigh? I kind of like this weight now at 152 but I am still pretty small, by mass. I feel like I have more electricity than items I use. I interfere? Impede signal? Is it possible for a human to be regressed by ionization? My blood work is extremely peculiar. I don't show any heavy metal, there isno toxicity of any kind (that is now at my last test 5 weeks ago), but it also shows that I have no signs of aging. (????????) All the measures for blood profile, sed, and panels come back with results that show a teenage girl in puberty? I would appreciate any help anybody could give me as to why this is happening. I have removed all jewelry, I am remineralizing like crazy, well, consistent and persistant at it with calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, boron, silica, there are others for liver support and adrenals. I read tonight that a Dr Sattori who has been studying Near death
experiences has found that people who claim to have undergone a NDE are often become electrically sensitive as if their body voltage/polarity has undergone some change. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up as I had last rights when I was a kid ! and just how co-incedences go as I type this a man on the radio said Near death experience !!! spooky !!!! I can get the Drs email details if you wish. Paul [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Supposedly, if you take a pH strip and test your saliva or urine, it should be around 6.5 to 7.0. I think there is some variation depending on what you have eaten and what time of day it is. However, chronically ill people typically have a lower pH -- mine was about 5.5 years ago -- which is way too low -- but more recently it's been in the 6.0 to 7.0 range. Marc |

Hi Paul, this is interesting.
I wouldn't mind writing to this Dr. I am just curious about how to manage this part and would like some guidance. If there is any....if not....I have been "winging" it so far with pretty good results. What happened to you as a child? Do you remember any of your experience? Did you have a NDE? I do find what is happening fascinating, that which goes against what has been taught to be expected or anticipated as possible.
