Hello all,
Been offline while relocating from California to Kentucky. Now looking forward to catching up on all your posts! A big "Howdy" to the group's old-timers and a belated welcome to the new members. It's nice to be back. :-) Quick question about shielding fabrics. Has anyone had good results with using shielding fabrics (usually metallic) to line hats and clothing? Lessemf.com. has quite a selection but I wanted to get feedback from the group before I start anything. Straitguy has such positive things to say about Velostat that I'm considering making a velostat hat. Unfortunately the plasticky material isn't really suitable for clothes, so I'm looking at fabrics too. Any comparisons welcome. PS, I'm not much of a sewer, so this would be a big undertaking for me. Would love your input. Thanks. Cara |

Welcome back, Cara!
Hopefully the EMF where you live now is better than where you were. And hopefully, you'll have found a source for raw dairy products... :-) > Quick question about shielding fabrics. Has anyone had good results > with using shielding fabrics (usually metallic) to line hats and > clothing? It's been so long since I tried this (6 years!), that I cannot remember my reaction to this. I think they may have actually made me *worse*, as the metal attracts more EMF to you. Seems like if you're going to use metal shielding, you should keep your distance from it (like, for example, keep it more than 7 feet away from you) Marc |
Hi Marc, We haven't yet moved into a permanent address here in Kentucky
but we're close to renting a place that FEELS very quiet/cool energetically. It's odd because there's a CELL PHONE TOWER very close by! (Practically next door.) Scary, huh? And yet, the apartment building is energetically the "coolest" we have felt anywhere, and you know we looked for over a year in California. We think this may be because of the hilly terrain, the apartment is on a downslope 20 feet below the cell tower and maybe it just happens to be a quiet/dead zone for microwaves? Like a small, "good" EMF microclimate in the midst of the surrounding noise? We're nervous about the cell tower for obvious reasons but willing to take a chance because the apartment itself feels so good energetically. Still, I am looking into shielded clothing because I know we'll be exposed every time we step outside our front door... No, we have not yet found a source for raw dairy products here. There is one local Whole Foods store and they told me my best bet is to get a time-share on a local cow, as Andrew once suggested. I'll be looking into that as soon as we're more settled. We really miss the Organic Pastures products! Tell me, did Organic Pastures ever send you the raw milk you ordered?? I know their supply is limited and they haven't always been able to respond to mail orders. As it turns out, my problems with Organic Pastures were limited to orders made around Christmas/New Years. They've been reliable ever since. In recent weeks I've taken a special interest in their Kefir, as this seemed to be even more beneficial to me than their milk. Not surprising I guess -- I typically respond well to things with a lot of beneficial bacteria. And in the case of Kefir, I compared it with the local health food store brand (Helios). The Helios also seems beneficial, but not as much as the stuff from Organic Pastures (which uses colostrum instead of milk) (and no, I haven't tried their colostrum yet -- every time I look at the price, I decide against it!) > exposed every time we step outside our front door... So I take it that you've had no luck with EMF protection devices when going out & about? This is what I rely on entirely when I'm on the move, and I think they work rather well. (and which devices have you tried when going out & about?) Marc |
The only portable device we've tried is the Springlife Polarizer.
Uncertain about that--possibly because my husband wasn't well enough in California to get out and about much anyway, so we weren't able to test it often. We thought it helped a little bit once or twice, but the effect was dramatic or conclusive. Although I'm prone to excess detox symptoms if I bring a large polarizer to a benign environment (I guess if it has no need to balance the environment, it instead tries to balance me!). I have noted however that the Springlife Polarizers don't work well for certain types of fields (plasma TV screens, LCD monitors), so in these cases I bring along my Quantum Companion. This is pretty pricy item though (almost $300), so I think many people would be better off trying stuff in the below-$100 range before resorting to this (especially since this is the weakest item that Quantum Products makes). > I have noted however that the Springlife Polarizers don't work
> well for certain types of fields (plasma TV screens, LCD monitors), > so in these cases I bring along my Quantum Companion By the way, on the subject of portable devices, I noted recently a new device, the "PAL Personal and Auto Clear" from Quantum Life: http://www.promolife.com/products/active.htm Superficially, this appears to be similar to the Quantum Companion, although it appears to be quite a bit larger, and has a much shorter battery life. Also, the Quantum Companion is adjustable, where this one is not. I suppose if I had an extra $200 to throw away, I'd try this out for comparison purposes. :-) Note that Quantum Life is a sister company to QuantumQRT.com (I verified this by emailing QuantumQRT.com), which specializes in noise reduction products in the audiophile industry. Both of these companies are based on similar technology as QuantumProducts.com, as all of the these companies are outgrowths of a company that went out of business in the late 1990's (Global Coherence). I wear the LessEMF hat much of the day, and wear their 'T-shirt'
protection at night. And it helps a lot, I sleep much better, and have better mood and a bit more energy. I have CFS, so this is significant. I tested their hat with my wife's cell phone. When I wrap the phone in the hat the reception goes from four bars down to two bars. This is pretty good reduction! As a comparison, when I wrap the phone in aluminum foil, it goes from four bars to one bar, so the hat is doing almost as good as foil. I plan to purchase some of the same fabric they use in the hat's lining, to make lining for other hats, so I have some variety. --Kurt -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Cara Sent: Monday, March 20, 2006 9:57 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: SPAM-MED: [eSens] Back online, and a question about shielding fabrics Hello all, Been offline while relocating from California to Kentucky. Welcome to the South, Cara. I live in Raleigh, NC.
Let me know if you need help finding local milk. I have connected with a couple of dairies here. It took me a while to dig them up and find them. My hat from lessemf is a regular staple of mine. I did wear some of the
silver mesh shirts and that lessened the intestinal pain around cell phones. The copper wall paint question is still up in the air because even though it is grounded, I am still feeling energy running on my face and my head is still buzzing from RF at night. I have been experimenting with grounding fabrics on the bed and shielding on the windows. I haven't found the right recipe yet. I made a velostat hat and lined it with cloth RF fabric and I wear that at night sometimes. It doesn't stop the energy from crawling on my face or corners of my eyes but it does take the buzz out of my head. You have no idea how much I appreciate your feedback, Andrew. Was
just wondering whether the copper paint would be worth the trouble and expense. (At least it didn't make your symptoms worse? I was worried about that possibility; it would be a huge pain to remove the paint that were the case.) Will definitely order the cap and silver mesh shirt today. Possibly some of the Naturashield fabric too. If I feel brave I'll try to sew, if not it will be a turban and a toga. Yes, I'll setting the fashion bar high in Louisville this year... :-) Cara --- In [hidden email], Andrew McAfee <amcafeerr@...> wrote: > > My hat from lessemf is a regular staple of mine. Kurt, Don't you have any strange sensation wearing such hat? Also, have you tried wearing an aluminum foil "hat"... By the way, such hats when you don't wrap them around don't diminish mobile phone reception, they can reflect radiation (= enhance reception) even! Yes, I do get a noticeable sensation at first, a kind of relaxing effect
in the middle of the head. After awhile it is less prominent. I take the hat off regularly to 'de-Gauss' it, don't know if that really matters, but it seems to help. No, I have not and will not wear aluminum foil on my head. Aside from the fact that aluminum hats are out of style, I also believe it is a very bad idea because foil could build up a static charge and act as a capacitor. I don't believe this hat reflects radiation because the EMF-blocking lining is a grid of steel fibers, ultra thin and lines spaced like graph paper. It should be breaking up the wave patterns, and probably not much else. BUT, just to be sure, I only wear the hat when I am sitting or standing vertically, I try to remember to take it off if I recline or lay down, so it does not become a parabolic reflector from the cell tower that sits a half mile away. Incidentally, the EMF-blocking T-shirt cover is also helpful, but the effect is not as strong as the hat. The hat is more significant, which leads me to suspect that it is a gland in the brain that is broken with EMS and CFS type illness, probably the Pineal. --Kurt -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Drasko Cvijovic Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2006 3:20 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: SPAM-LOW: [eSens] hat Kurt, Don't you have any strange sensation wearing such hat? I also wear the same Hat This hat is a must for ems people i started using it in 2004 and i havent stopped. When i am without it - i know about it. Healing happens at the DNA level, as Dr. Litovitz states in his video presentation at the whitehouse, (energyfields.org) explaining that DNA can be replaced, but high amounts of EMF exposure prevents 100% healing. This is why this hat is so important, it sheilds the brain and lets some healing begin. Its not an overnight change, it takes time. So those who may have tried it and say it doesnt work likely didnt give it long enough. the "silver screening" also does wonders, drape it over your computer monitor and FEEL the difference right away, And when in doubt take the mesh OFF the computer monitor, youll feel like you just got Blasted by Radiation I promise you that youll never work without it again! These products work - just wish they came in more colors and styles.- as many i know have suggested to the company that ships them out to people. You can always order the fabric thats in these hats and insert them in your own hat but avoid hats with metal (even though this one has metal it works for some, but others had to removed the metal components) I know close friends that also use them and they dont leave home without them |

Hi Cara welcome back,,
About paints, it is expensive but if there is anything, it would be the stardust from tachyon (atti tm) i would recommend, or paint to protect, and more heal.. Would use it over any other "shielding" paint.. Did not feel bad once painting (doing the job) iron oxide color with waterpaint, may just have been the state i was in.. was doing the painting while in a state of something.. Fabrics the same (do not know if they have a replacement for the silk yet (as the wormlets got hurt lately, ,yeah they're all right..i guess, snooze you loose, should have gotten that silk scarf ellen..) matresspad, whatever...../// just oay elsewhere,,, Anywho, Love Cara <[hidden email]> wrote: Hello all, Been offline while relocating from California to Kentucky. Hi,
Guess it is to add to paint yes.. Very expensive..Ingredients are silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, sodium oxide, potassium oxide, calcium oxide, iron oxide, magnesium oxide..(tachyonized).. Have only had positive experience with tachyon products// Wonder if adding this to paint will help as tachyonization fortifies the properties of materials?? Guess my next paintjob is just gonna be waterpaint and iron oxide colour again, maybe use prillwater to mix ; ) (at least it answers my question if i can tachyonize iron oxide, otr at least load it up before i do the job.. Oilpaints are out they have always made me sick,/ Would not really paint copperpaint, just go on intuition.. Sell hardware actually.. Getting some iron oxide on me does not mess up my day (except for reddening, or yellowing it up..) Steal nails (the ones for cement) are another story.. They too leave a film on your fingers and are highly magnetic.. they can still make me feel dim very quick, so i let the customers count them out (they think using gloves is silly).. In the bedroom this is no issue as i have no walls.. Do feel that maybe being pretty much out in the elements may have contributed to my recovery as well.. Of course living in the jungle is always better then in the city (or what kinda stetement is that??0;) Love Marc Martin <[hidden email]> wrote: > About paints, it is expensive but if there is anything, it would be the > stardust from tachyon (atti tm) i would recommend, or paint to protect, > and more heal..
