Does anyone have these symptoms--wild insomnia. Begins in evening with freezing hands and feet, then simple wakefulness, usually beginning around 11.30, then nausea in the solar plexus area (has nothing to do with food), then trembling of arms and legs for hours, physical pain and finally psychological effects--depression etc. Happens every night with exposure. Does not happen without exposure. Ideas to help? Herbal sleep remedies cause heart problems; pharmaceuticals ineffective. It's is killing me slowly due to sleep deprivation. ALL SYMPTOMS VANISH WHEN I GET UP IN THE MORNING--JUST EXHAUSTION CONTINUES. I can get to sleep just fine and sleep until about 11.30 p.m. Not about a racing mind or anxiety or anything psychological.
I do not have epilepsy (have been worked up for that). Blood sugar fine. |

![]() I started w/ 3mgs and noticed it knocked me out. some need more. I figured I would try 3 and take 6 if that did not do it or even 9 if need be. 3 is for me and it's cheap too. Some sensitives are of extreme wealth. If you have the funds I hear bitter black cherry juice sold as a $$$ supplement, is a better source of melatonin than the supplements. Way too costly for me or I would do instead. |

yes...getting rid of adjustable bed which has metal machinery in the base. However fields here are extremely low so I did not think it would be a problem. Also I sleep under a canopy...but will get into air bed shortly...just in case. thank you.

Melatonin helps me, and avoiding electronics for at least an hour before bedtime including TV, landline phones, etc. Also, if waking up in the middle of the night, avoid turning on bright lights and instead use a flexible neck HUG LED battery operated light,

I also have flux-a program that makes the screen orangey on my computer. I have LED candles all over the place, so when I wake at night I can see to go to the bath or kit-they too are an orangey light. I only turn on reg. light to see to make something in the kitchen, to read, or sew. I find that has helped my sleep some. I have heard a lot about people wearing orange shades at night for this reason.
Yes I spoke w/ Steve when I started the system. His big thing was panels put out EMFs and have them away from the house. I got in battles w/ the installer over that and finally had to take my business to another person. I had them at a convenient spot at some distance when I moved in, but had to forgo some efficiency and put them further-much better at the greater distance. I used eiwellspring as a guide for the rest. LOW EMF DC solar! |

We like magnesium citrate to help relax for sleep. I also turn off the computer 1 - 1/1/2 hrs before bed. I turn off the lamp an hour or more before bed, so I can have some darkness to help my body make my own melatonin. Yes, it is important to not have electronics under the bed for the massage function. Make sure you unplug that. We make sure all electrical items are unplugged in our basement as well. If not they will rid the building wire & I feel it some on the floor. Kathy |

I've had lots of trouble sleeping. periods of time I have not slept much for weeks. also nightmare problems.
in the beginning of january I went to my doctor because I startet to be worried. She gave me some sleeping pills. that helped meget into a sleeping pattern again. but now I am of them. I have learned myself some sleeping techniques: I sleep on my side or stomach. If i lay on my back breathing deeply, for maybe 15 minutes(until relaxed). then turn over at the side that can help. doing acupressure on myself makes me very relaxed. and i mostly fall asleep after a while. spinning a tornado of light around my body helps my body get into relaxed state. It also works as a focused meditation. that has the effect of mind letting go. do until i fall asleep. guess the key for me has been to get the body into a relaxed state. so I use healing techniques. |
i found that eating no sugar or caffeine after noon

I find that rubbing my calf with the opposite foot helps relax me somewhat.
I also just tried an herbal formula that seems to help. Herbs. etc. Deep Sleep. It's one of the only ones that helps but I just started using it, I will need to see if it continues to work. |

Yes, I have Smart Meters but I had IC before that. The Meters are contributing to the insomnia though
