There are lots of home/personal EMF shielding devices available -- more than hundred different ones, I'd say! However, these are like many things, hit & miss for people with ES. For some, a certain product may produce really good results, while another person may experience no benefit with the same product -- or even feel worse! I just did a search on RayGuard and didn't see many reports on it here. I'm thinking that was the company that handed out free devices to interested people on this group many years ago, but maybe that was a different company? (either way, that one didn't seem like it helped anyone) For the Home, I've had good luck with the "Quantum Home" from www.quantumproducts.com, and I've seen a few others report benefits from these (or the stronger "Quantum Pro"). There are also a few other things you could try that some people have benefited from -- Earthcalm products, Mega-Chi pendant, stuff from Advanced Tachyon Technologies, etc. You just need to try some out and see if they help you out... Hello,
as an addition to Marc's post....... I have dealt with Earthcalm, and I know they will refund if you can't adjust or whatever. I don't know about any others. I felt it important to mention because of the cost of these products. Also, I have ordered things from emfblues.com in the past. They seem to mention Smart Meters in some of their products. BTW, I am not in anyway a spokesperson with any company. :) just saying have a great day Aimee --- On Thu, 3/21/13, Marc Martin <[hidden email]> wrote: From: Marc Martin <[hidden email]> Subject: Re: [eSens] Any Proven Shielding Devices? Thank-you for the info Marc.
I just got back from a wonderful drive into the country where the cell tower signals do not reach. For the first time in years I felt amazingly alive! I have not been that far out for years. It was absolutely wonderful! I could breathe freely and think clearly. It was such an encouraging event. My 81 year old mom and I live together. I work still, in a relatively safe environment, but am still effected by emf. I shut off all the wireless stuff, except the security system, and I can get through the day. I am tired, but I get it done. Anyway, I hope to be able to get out in the country and escape these emissions. The big worry is the smart grid, which I am certain is not fully operational. If I cannot find a house shield or personal shield, I fear the worst. Please pass on any info that you may discover as to shielding. Take care, Sincerely, Laurie ________________________________ From: Marc Martin <[hidden email]> To: [hidden email] Sent: Thursday, March 21, 2013 12:03:26 PM Subject: Re: [eSens] Any Proven Shielding Devices? Hi Aimee,
Thanks so much for your input. I have looked at the website at Earthcalm. As you say....money is always a consideration. I have already shelled out several hundred here and there. I appreciate the money-back guarantee, for sure! A friend of mine is currently trying the house shield from Safe Connect Plus. We both tried the pendant and no results. However, my friend borrowed the house shield from a friend and felt a noticeable difference. Another friend of mine borrowed the house shield and also said she felt much better. I am going to try this device myself. I will send in the results after I try it. We do not have a fully operational digital power grid here yet, so, I wonder if there can be protection. Anyway, I will keep this short. Thanks for the input. Hi again,
Yes, I often read their info. Do you know if the entire grid is operative anywhere in B.C.? I have heard that Hydro has not turned the whole thing on here yet, in Nanaimo. Being that everything I hear about the fully operational grid is horrendous, I would really appreciate knowing when they will turn it on here. Either get out of town, or, hopefully be shielded when it is turned on. I am in Nanaimo, B.C. Canada. I would like to know if there are any home or personal shielding devices available. Or, is the shielding fabric and paint and metal the only way to shield oneself? Has anyone tried the device called RayGuard? Getting desperate here. The Smart Grid has not been turned on fully yet, as far as my meter indicates. I am extremely worried that when they enable the WiMax system, I will be finished off. Already wifi instantly renders me braindead and brings on a vicious headache that starts in my eyes. Exhaustion ensues and depressive thoughts follow. I am MCS, as well. Hi there. I'm in Oakville, Ontario, Canada but I wish I was on Vancouver Island! Gee, I sure miss living in Saanich/Victoria and Saltspring Island. How are things in the land of Diana Krall, Pulp & Paper Mills and Petroglyph Park(I won't mention the Na---mo bars)? Ditto on the headache and trouble focusing and thinking clearly. Whenever I get hit with wifi it is very much the same every time: first I feel vertigo, dizziness / feeling of losing my balance; then an unpleasant behind-the-eyes headache/neck/jaw-ache that is similar to a sinus headache; also a sensation of fullnes in the ears/sinus congestion; then my heart starts to beat very rapidly; I feel intense anxiety and foreboding/dysphoria; then fatigue, burnout poopout; etc. I am also sensitive to chemicals--but I'm doing better with chems these days compared to earlier and compared to wireless/electro pollution. This is the End... --Hud _________________________________________________________ singula de nobis anni praedantur euntes: 'As the years pass, they rob us of one thing after another.' My warning: avoid these kind of stuffs ! I know that when a guyis in a desparate conditions everything that is referred as valid , is good ! But, I never seen any scientific and proved documentations (I mean repoered in peer reviewed scientific papers) !
I suggest, first of all, to try to indentify which is the enemy (which frequencies are EMFs) and to buy texitles and/or paint that are certified to filter/block THESE frequencies. They are an help. Hi Giorgio,
Thank-you very much for the information. I have been told this very information by a lady here in the west who is very electrosensitive. She only feels that the shielding fabric and paint works. It make sense not to waste a lot of money. I will likely find myself purchasing fabric or a canopy made out of the Swiss Shield fabric so I can jump into bed the minute I get home. I also understand that the floor must be shielded. There will need to be the proper shielding material under the bed, too. Well, I have to get ready for work. Have a good day! This is usually the opinion of people who don't want to try a lot of things, or cannot afford to try a lot of things. However, these sorts of devices can be very, very helpful. Without them, I would have had to have moved many years ago, and would not be able to work at my present job. On the other hand, we've had plenty of people who have reported being WORSE after applying shielded paint (and it's a pain to have to remove). At least if you have a bad reaction to shielded fabric, you can easily stop wearing it... Marc |

Quantum Power Conditioners are great. I have three or four and another on the way. Don't know why they seem to work so well compared to other products but they do. I have two whole house EMF reducers. Lots of ferrites around cords and cables. About 20 or so Stetzer filters. I don't know how well the Quantum Power Conditioners would work without these things as well. But I can say that it is the quantum power conditioner plugged into an outlet closest to my bed that lets me sleep. Thanks Marc for turning us on to this product.

Yes, I must say that I agree with this... after having tried all sorts
of filtering power strips and parallel filters, there is nothing quite like a Quantum power conditioner (although I'm not sure what exactly they are selling these days, as I bought all of mine 10 years ago). As for getting to sleep, I find that if I have my 3-outlet version plugged in all night near my bed, I may be a bit too hyper to sleep, so I have it on a timer (15-min on/15-min off). I also bring the 3-outlet version with me on trips for Hotel rooms. Also, I think that several of the 3-outlet versions spread throughout the house might be just as good (or better) than the much more expensive Quantum Home (although I use both). Hi Marc,
Thank-you again for your help. I don't feel so isolated and misunderstood anymore. This is an awesome group! I never realized how important it could be for me to communicate with others in the same boat. You all know what it feels like to walk a mile in EHS shoes. Not very pleasant. Update: Do not buy quantum power products from the link I posted below. I ordered another Quantum Power Conditioner 7 outlet from them and it arrived today. They sent me a cheap Belkim Surge Protector you can get on Amazon.com for 15 bucks. I paid for it with paypal and hopefully I can put it in dispute and get my money back from them. I also sent them a nasty email demanding that they send me the product that I paid for, or else!!!

I think you fail to understand how the Quantum Power Conditioners are actually created. Back when I purchased mine, they were "Power Sentry" power strips, and yes, they did look exactly like the Power Sentry power strips sold in my local hardware store. And in fact, out of curiosity, I purchased the the one in the hardware store to compare. And interestingly, even though these two power strips appeared to be identical, the one purchased through the hardware store was agitating and provoked new ES symptoms. While the one purchased through Quantum Products reduced my ES symptoms. So perhaps you should actually test yours out before filing a complaint... Marc |
That is interesting. And I did get an email back from Margi Wilson, the owner. I told her that if I wanted buy the Belkin model BE108200-06 that I'd buy one from another website where they were selling for 15.99. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812107193 According to this website, "EMI/RFI Reduction The Belkin BE108200-06 can filter EMI/RFI noise up to 58 dB reduction for minimum distortion and attenuation" Nothing that Margi Wilson said to sounded like they took this existing product and did anything to it. You are saying that if I did buy the one at this website that it would somehow be different from the one sent to me. I will ask Margi Wilson about this to see if I can get an answer. I was very rude in my email. she might not answer. But I'll see. --- In [hidden email], Marc Martin <marc@...> wrote: > > On March 25, fantasticsam131 <quaixemen@...> wrote: > > Update: Do not buy quantum power products from the link I posted below. > > I ordered another Quantum Power Conditioner 7 outlet from them and it arrived today. > > They sent me a cheap Belkim Surge Protector you can get on Amazon.com for 15 bucks. > > I think you fail to understand how the Quantum Power Conditioners > are actually created. However, like I said, I haven't bought a Quantum power strip in years, but the ones I did buy had a vastly different effect on me that the identical one in the hardware store. And I am assuming (right or wrong) that nothing has changed since then. Except that they are using a different power strip to start with. But they really should have that sort of information on their website (which I've always thought was woefully inadequate) Marc |

Also, didn't you say that you were already using a Quantum power conditioner? I assume it must be different than the one you just got? (but I also assume that it must be a standard power strip that you can buy somewhere else) Marc |
