twitching

Joyce Soos
Does anyone have any idea what would cause twitching of the limbs, esp. since it hasn't happened before? This started with the advent of a sinus infection, with the prescription Ketek. I was okay with it but noticed that this twitching would happen when I was lying down, not necessarily going to bed at the time. It would happen in the morning before getting up, then later lying down in the morning.
The Ketek didn't take care of the sinus infection, so I am on round two with Levaquin. This is just my fourth day. The twitching has gotten worse, now it can happen when I am sitting up. I feel like it is hard to type, forcing my fingers to go where they need to go. The muscles feel like they are hardening, or stiffening. Remember, this twitching started a couple of weeks before I started on any antibiotics. This feeling happens off and on at different parts of the body, even the head will jerk slightly. My legs twitch the most. This is involuntary, and I cannot control it.
I cannot take normal vitamin pills with everything in them, esp. b vitamins because I get too wired. I eat no grains and mainly juice veggies for breakfast, have chicken, yams, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, lettuce, grapes, and bananas and avocados. I also eat cod a lot. I am going to an allergist tomorrow, just to get tested on what foods I am allergic to. I told my regular doc about this, and said he was concerned that if these feelings don't go away by the time this sinus infection is over, that he thinks I might have some nuerological problem. Because of my electrical sensitivities, I cannot handle an MRI. Any suggestions I would appreciate, and thank you in advance. I am about to try Tri-salts for my mineral depletion.

JOYCE

In my experience, it's been a lack of Vitamin B-12 and/or magnesium,
but the following page has all sorts of suggestions:

Hello,

eating too much fruit may result in a breakdown of the Calcium.
Especially fruit with a stone in it.

Another point is, that high frequency radiation from f.i. mobile phones may
result in cramps in the underlegs, or *restless legs*.
At the moment, with the new UMTS transmitters, that is very common overhere.
I have even seen persons with open wounds on legs and arms.

I want to say thank you for this website. I went ahead and did the test, and got lots of info! Now, if this Codex thing comes true, I don't know how or where I am going to get the supplements they want me to take!
