twisting power cords

Has anyone tried just putting a bunch of twists into a power cord? They seem to bother me less when I do that.

I've never tried this with power cords but would like to build a house with either twisted or shielded electrical wiring.

The writer of this article is highly ES and shows how he twists regular Romex to reduce the antenna effect by 90%.  http://www.eiwellspring.org/dmh-wiring.htm

Desert Moon House: Wiring for Lower EMF. by Andrew Eriksen . This article describes the simple low-EMF features of a less-toxic house constructed in northeastern Arizona.

Hmmm, maybe you can find someone who sells power cords that are already twisted inside?  Probably from an audiophile/videophile company.  I have twisted speaker wire on my computer speakers, which I thought helped...

This is a major future project for me. One of the DC cords is bad. The others are OK. I will be getting in the future some copper mesh and tape. Right not I have the left over canopy fabric around it.
