I went on a cruise on one of the newer ships and the Wi-Fi was very strong. They had strong Wi-Fi routers every few rooms. Even in public areas walking up and down the steps it was up to several mW/m^2. I think the top of the boat was a little better. I used shielding fabric at night to block it in the cabin.
You may be better off on an older ship without all the new technology.

Because there's the vague sliver of a chance that I might be going on one if I think it won't affect my health too much. I was just wondering if anyone's had specific problems with navigational equipment and stuff like that.
