trackball

Paresh
Hi - My corded Logitech trackball is wearing out. All I see now from Logitech with the same ergonomic design is wireless. I like the ergonomic design so my thumb operates the marble as opposed to standard mouse design. Is that an emf problem? Would I have to have the wireless transmitter enabled in my computer? No way can I do that. Any suggestions...other brands?  Thanks.
blessings,
Charles

Charles,

I know this message is two weeks old, but I am just catching up on my email.

Don't worry about not being able to get a corded mouse.  There are lots out there but of course you may need  try another brand of trackball, or dig through a used computer recycle store to see if you can find the one you like.  You may need to use something else until you can come across what you are looking for.

I went thru the same thing.  So I went to a recycled computer store and dug thru their huge boxes of mice.  I found several corded mice I like for $1.00 to $5.00 each.  I also see lots of mice in second hand stores.  I bought an extra trackball new in the box several years ago as a spare.  But I use Kensington Trackballs.  The one I use is easy to find used.

I see a USB thumb trackball mouse on Ebay Model T-BB18 that appears to be what you want:

You might also call Logitech and ask them if they have any backstock, or outlet store, or if they can special order you one:

To get used to a new style of trackball, try Amazon trackballs to see different styles:
