Well, they were put in smart meters around my neighborhood late yesterday but not at my house. Interesting that they never did knock on my door saying that they were here.
Now I can sense them and big time. I feel waves of emf crashing down on me ever since I woke up this morning. My jaw hurts and I am very dizzy to where I walk like I am drunk. I already have vertigo but this is stupid! The brain fog is tremendous and cannot concentrate on anything I read. My face is vibrating and my two teeth that have crowns on them buzz and hurt. I constantly feel like falling down. It is worse being on the computer for me. I remember having these same feelings twenty years ago when I first came down with es but they are back in full force. I have a no smart meter sign on my analog so the guy was nice enough to not put one on, thank goodness. My bedroom is facing my neighbor's meter, and I can see a meter on my neighbor's wall behind me. I just wish these awful feelings of vertigo would go away. Anyone know what I can do? Thanks in advance. |

As a temporary measure could one of those special wifi reflective material tents that go over the bed offer relief? Klinghardt mentions them for use with children. I wonder if the body can adapt under these emergency conditions, so that you can find some additional forms of relief. I am so upset about this...so unjust and oppressive.

I agree. A nightmare.
So the problem is, it doesn't do any good to opt out, unless _All_ you neighbors opt out too, within some uncertain radius, say 300 ft, or 1000 ft to be complete. How can the neighbors be convinced microwaves are bad? when the symptoms some of them might have, won't appear until after it is too late? My only advice Esther is to attempt to head it off before it gets there. Talk to all your neighbors, show them evidence, and find out what percentage of them will agree to opt out too. Otherwise the only option for any of us with EHS will be to move. Any rural corner is better than the urban setting with multiple neighbors and towers. I sleep under a shielding canopy (draped over and around my wood frame
bunk bed.) Yes it helps, it even makes a big difference, but as a long term solution I have to disagree. Also you become a prisoner unable to go out. That is no way to live. I don't think the body can adapt to the sick environment. As long as the body reacts to toxins (and microwaves) as being bad for the cell membrane, and they are, then living in a toxic soup can only lead to declining health. I encourage you to read the book by Bruce Lipton PhD, The Biology of Belief. Your library should have it. I agree with the first 7 chapters completely, and think it is something worth reading. When they start installing smart meters here (and that will happen soon
also in Australia, as they are currently in the trial stage), then I will put a rope on our veranda with a sign "no entrance to anyone representing AusGrid" (the electricity company doing this stuff). And maybe another sign on the meter itself. Luckily we own our home, so we can decide whether to get such a meter or not (NOT!). And I hope that by then we have the solar panels on our roof, so that we aren't even dependent on them anyway (gives them fewer possibilities to manipulate us). Of course we can't do anything about the other houses in the street, but they are a bit further away, so I hope that will have less influence. Rixta > You've just describe my worst nightmare. Hi, K, Joyce, and Kumara,
I am addressing 3 posts at once--two on smart meters, and Kumara's question about what one with ES should be doing to heal and prepare for the future. Sorry to read of your bad experience with the new introduction of smart meters in your area, Joyce. I can only pray it will get better for you and not worse. I noticed a few years ago, when a cell tower was added locally, that EVERYBODY reacted somewhat to it at first. This is also consistent with some ES research that was done a number of years ago in NYC, where a tower was added on top of an apartment building. Locally, we had 3 unusual accidents resulting in 4 deaths and lots more illness for the first 6 weeks. In the study on the apt buildings, they found people had more susceptibility to "viruses going around", which resulted in an increase in deaths of the elderly and impaired, and also found more accidents happened than was usual. [We with ES aren't the only ones experiencing brain fog, and inability to think clearly!] So, please, do be careful as to accidents. If you can, get out of the house and go to a state forest or park. If possible, sit on the ground or a rock there by some running water. Take your shoes off and let your body off-load some of the toxic energy into the earth. Walking with conductive shoes on is helpful, too. This will happen naturally if you are wearing all natural clothing and shoes. Otherwise, this will not work as well. This only really happens now, tho, in very natural settings. Most other places are over-emfed and you can't off-load because your body is actually taking on more frequencies in these places. I mention this study and my observations to say, it *is* worse in the beginning when more wireless frequencies are introduced, but *some* are able to adapt. However, who is able to adapt has much to do with how resilient one's body already is and how much room one's immune system has to take on more stress. There are many fixes which will help, and every fix should be considered, as increasing ES is much like baling water out of a leaking rowboat. If you are able to deal with the amount of water coming in (using many cups, spoons, and buckets), you will overcome the onslaught of water. However, if you use a couple teaspoons in order to bale the water out, you are going to be in deep trouble. This is partly why I began over 2 years ago to do work which would help shield my home. I was not having much problem at that time, in my house, but I knew in time I likely would. At the time I was living in a close neighborhood situation--3 feet from neighbors on 2 sides. I looked for a very rural house but couldn't find one, but was able to find a house 25 and 50 feet from the closest neighbors. [Plus the closest neighbor is on the other side of our concrete block and brick garage, so the garage acts as a shield, somewhat.] My heart goes out to those of you who must live in apartment buildings. This would be my first change, if possible--get out to a more rural area. There are many ways to deal with emfs, and one can consider multiple layers of shielding, as well as multiple ways to deal with healing the body. One probably should also employ avoidance tactics. In my home, for instance, I have little need for electrics--the house is mainly gas. Not that gas doesn't have it's own drawbacks, however, I thought getting as much off the electric grid as possible was a good idea. We had a kill switch put on the electric line and had it placed with the meter (so far, analog) at the street, instead of on our house.... I made some shielding curtains (not as many as I'd like, but it takes time and money-- it helps to do it, financially, a bit at a time). We put fine gauge aluminum screens on some windows and placed plants blocking windows, both inside and out, in particular places. I am beginning to plant more trees--pines, arborvitae, and evergreen magnolias. Trees will not help today, but they will eventually. Each of these trees grow at a rate of 3 to 5 feet/ year. The idea of placing a piece of black tourmaline on your pipes +/ or meter is a good one. (Dietrich Gruen just mentioned this as something he has experimented with.) I have not tried this yet, but will look for some tourmaline soon to try it. (I have a smart water meter.) I use various gemstones already for personal protection and needs--I mention that I use rose quartz for sleeping here, often. The idea of the shielding tent is a good one, also, tho I have no personal experience with that, as it was very pricey to buy when I looked into it and I thought shielding my house as a whole made more sense at the time. (Certainly, the tent makes more sense, tho, if you are having problems with emfs while sleeping.) Many of us at this forum use various supplements to increase our stress tolerance/ the strength of our immune systems/ etc. I have done a lot of searches into ways to increase my personal frequency fields. I mentioned earlier about trying to keep my pH balanced; but what you eat, as a whole, is just as important. Organic and healthful eating habits and growing my own foods are especially important to me. It is a fact that in today's ways of doing things, our nutritional needs are extremely lacking. When we buy foods continually from a supermarket, we are especially at risk. Do the foods there even contain any nutrition by the time we buy them, let alone cook and eat them? Good question. Yet, for many (at least where I live), supermarkets are the only real source of foods during the winter. Marc mentioned the Quantum products as helpful. I see them as helpful, also, in some circumstances. But I do not see them as helpful where the emfs are mostly wireless. But, again, it is good to deal on many levels with emfs, if you have a need to. Electrical emfs cause stress, too! I keep a notepad handy when I am reading posts and sites, and write down ideas for eliminating emfs as I read them here. Then I pick and choose from hundreds of ideas, according to what is least expensive and easiest to do, usually. I do some more expensive projects according to how well I think they will work overall and over time. But I am pretty much always doing or adding something. Even so, only time will tell how successful my efforts have been! All bets are off as to whether I will be able to go out of the house after our utilites roll out their entire smart grid plan. I can only hope this plan will blow-up in the utilities' faces and everything must go back to normal. Hopefully this will happen fairly quickly! But, in the meantime, I have been doing quite well, physically. Maybe I will be able to weather the smart meter attack better than I think--I hope so! I was once very ill due to ES, so know you can improve, too! It isn't necessarily going to be an all down-hill battle. There are supplements which will likely help you. There are hundreds of posts on how to deal with emfs. I, alone, have written hundreds of posts on what has helped me (well, at least it seems like that many lol)! There are great posts in the archives. Go fish and you will find. There are many here who have shared info and who also have their own sites with info on them. Charles Claussen and Stewart Andreason, here, are two which immediately come to mind. Gillian Joy is another who has a site. James--I forget his entire e-name--is another. There are lots of ideas out there. You can use our email address names to find our posts in the archives. Over time, you will notice that some of us specialize in particular areas and answer posts mainly about particular things. You can then look up info on the archives according to what subject you are searching for, also, with our names. Good luck; I hope some of this helps, Diane ________________________________ From: urbanpinetrees3 <[hidden email]> To: [hidden email] Sent: Sunday, December 18, 2011 8:11 AM Subject: [eSens] Re: smart meters As a temporary measure could one of those special wifi reflective material tents that go over the bed offer relief? Esther,
How awful! I understand not being able to tolerate the computer these days. I agree, talking to your neighbors is the best way to help you. If you can print up the effects from smart meters, since they're new there, the neighbors might feel the difference too. They'll be more open to listen. In our area, we had amr meters for years. I felt the effects only when cell phone speeds got to 3G. 4G w smart meters makes it almost unbearable. I notice stinging on different sections of streets. I wonder if they do? Rixta,
If you can, buy a meter, so you can measure & know what it is now. Will help in letters down the road. You're lucky the houses aren't close. Someone pointed out talking to your neighbors on the dangers may help. They might refuse too & make it healthier for you. Kathy [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

I feel for you too. I went through this twenty years ago so I know just what is happening. Problem is that I cannot work with my multiple chemical sensitivities with the es too. I might soon be all alone with this, and would definitely have to walk away from my house into???? Not getting support with my husband about this now, and has threatened to leave if I end up getting bad with es again, not handling anything with electricity.
Twenty years ago it was so bad that I had to unplug the refrigerator and make sure the microwave was not on when I wanted to come into the kitchen. I was actually living in my bedroom and the only electrical device was my overhead light and a lamp. Even in my bedroom my body would hurt, chest pains, when the microwave was on. I am afraid that those days will come back again with these meters, and I truly will be living outdoors. I live in the high desert but right now it is a high of 60 with a low of anywhere from 20 to 40 degrees. With "not close" I mean no units, apartment buildings or townhouses. The
neighbour is still only 20 yards or so, but that seems to be a huge difference compared to one on your own house. I have some simple meters and now they don't show anything, but I'm sure smart meters would give a similar reading to cell phones. I have no idea when they will start the roll out here, but I think it will be coming year. It will become a fight not to get such a thing on our house, but it's our house and that's it. Hi Stewart and Kathy,
I have about the 5% the functioning level of a healthy person, and have no help. Despite this, I managed to make and print up flyers, and get them distributed in my neighborhood. I've posted signs in my front window. I've put flyers out on my front lawn for people to take (which they haven't). I even handed out flyers to the parents of the trick-or-treaters who came to my house. Quite frankly, nobody cares. They don't have the consciousness to be open to hearing something they don't want to hear. I don't have the ability to talk to my neighbors. I'm 95% house bound, and introvert. I'm lucky to be able to get dressed most days. I'm shy and just don't have the energy to have conversations with people I barely know. Even if I could, I get nervous and forget important things to tell them, and sound like an idiot. Some people are good at being persuasive; I'm not one of them. I've tried to do what I can, but this is all to overwhelming given my state of health. I haven't done the dishes for a week b/c I've been too sick. That's what's frustrating: because I've been affected, I know the dangers, but because I'm sick I can't be the activist I need to be to protect myself. I can't do the shielding things you all talk about b/c I don't have the strength/ability, or someone to do it for me. I'm a renter so I can't do modifications to the electrical or anything else to the house. I have CFIDS, MCS and ES, and I'm now a senior citizen with an older body that's been debilitated for the past 21 years from illness. I can only do what I can do, which unfortunately, isn't enough. I'm not giving up; just being frustrated and rather discouraged. But I do appreciate everyone in this group, and all the information being shared. It helps. Can you give the full web address? I couldn't find it under ".com",
".org" nor ".net". Thanks, E On Dec 19, 2011, at 4:40 AM, urbanpinetrees3 wrote: > We can document our symptoms. Go to the justproveit website and > download the pdf form. I just took a class on this - mitigating smart meters.
A swiss shield canopy might help you but you might have to ground it if you have high electric fields in your room. They are pricey, though. I know of one Building Biologist who lets his clients rent one out for a few weeks to see if it's going to work before making the big investment. If you're on good terms with your neighbors, or if they are kind souls, you might be able to rig up some sort of metal shield around their meters to deflect the radiation in a different direction (say, towards the street). If you pay for it they probably would be more willing to accept this but you'd need someone who is aware of how RF works to help you do this. But yes, it's going to be hell because the whole neighborhood has them... On a more general note regarding smart meters and for those of you who already have them, this guy is selling a "safe electric meter replacement kit" that includes an analog meter, a legal doc to send to your electric company, etc. Apparently it is totally legit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJ8YR7Kzj_M&list=UUklG6ilxW_PeYeDSpKSRGZQ&index=1&feature=plcp At least there are people out there who are trying to do something about them! Another option, if you were able to get the whole neighborhood on your side, would be to ask the electric company to only emit once a day. A lot of them emit every 30 seconds, so I' not surprised at your severe reaction. Good luck and let us know if you find a solution that works for you! --- In [hidden email], "Joyce" <joycesoos@...> wrote: > > Well, they were put in smart meters around my neighborhood late yesterday but not at my house. You sound just like me but I am only 57. One of my next-door neighbors just simply don't care. I have been exposed for over 48 hours and it is hard to breathe, muscle spasms, you know the drill, plus sensitive now to computers and their speakers. Just before Christmas too. I will pray for you and all out there who have become es sensitive. I went down this way twenty years before, and it is happening again, but my body is older and not responding good to all this es now.

It helps. I'm moving but they are installing smart meters where I'm going but at least it's only 3G there.
I'm living in a trailer. How do they effect trailers? I'm going to try to opt out of course! I'd say the travel trailer has an advantage, where you can unplug it, and keep as much distance from the mains plugin, as an extension cord will allow. As long as the bed is not on top of the breaker box! I'm not aware of any other effect to note. Stewart |
