powerline adapters

Does anyone have any knowledge concerning plug-in adapters that allow you to turn off the wireless and use house wiring to connect computers to the router. Specifically, I am wondering if this creates any unwanted  increase in emf along the house wiring. It certainly allows for turning off the wireless.   Thanks-Chuck

I have no personal experience with this, but this *sounds* like
it would be even worse than wireless, as the RF will be amplified
by the power lines.  Also, all that RF now transfers into
everything in the house that uses electricity.

I'd think that Ethernet cables would be the best choice for
avoiding wireless.

This will create dirty electricity - which will make your condition worse. More aggressive waves.

Going with an ethernet connection is definitely the best solution. My husband ran one of these under the house from our wired router so that I can use the hard connection from a spot that is distant from the router.

Hi Chuck,

You do NOT want to use house wiring. You want to use Ethernet. Yes, you have to run Ethernet cable to all the different computers but it is worth your health! Make sure that after the Ethernet is hooked up that you permanently turn off the wireless on your computers, printers, modems, and routers.
