new laptop

Paresh
Compuer trouble - my tech says it's time for a new one. I think he's
right but have been putting it off bec I don't know how much more emf
is in a new laptop...My dell Inspiron is 4 yrs old & I don't feel much
emf at all. I won't be using wi-fi. Anything else to look for? Are they
much worse now than 4 yrs ago? Thanks.

I just bought a DELL Inspiron 1300 15.4 screen 60gighd 500mb ram etc wifi
enabled but can disable £360 great deal - Now for the ES bit dell do an inspiron
with an earthed transformer/adapter, my one does trouble me ironically when
I used wifi to search for avaiulable networks I found to my horror 2-3 from
my neighbour !! he has 2 dects etc...

I think best idea is to keep your distance from the unit use separate
keyboard and mouse and of course sit unit on a platfprm for good ergonomics. I
prefer laptop for longer use than my pc lets face it its portable etc...

Try the PowerBook G4. The exterior shell is aluminum which will block a lot of the EMFs.

Good luck!
