Just thought I would get in my two cents' worth. I have had es for twenty years but has gotten worse with the smart meters in my neighborhood and who knows what else. For the past two months I was on a paleo diet with lots of meat, three meals a day. I had noticed two weeks ago that my ES has gotten worse with headaches and could not handle being close to the computer or even staying in the kitchen without coming down with headaches which would not go away without migraine meds.
I did an experiment of cutting out meat in the morning and just juicing fresh veggie juice and having that for breakfast. I took only two days until I started feeling better. I have noticed that red meat is the culprit for me along with any meat or fish in the morning. Also with this change of diet, after being on Protonix for five years, suddenly it does not work and now have to find something else for my acid reflux. Interesting how my body acts when overdoing something! For me, meat only once or twice a day keeps the ES problem under control. Any comments? |
That is very interesting. Is the meat you eat organic or grass-fed? Have you tried eggs from pastured chickens for breakfast? If you are ES it is especially important to avoid toxins in food as much as possible.

Well, I'd have to ask what kind of meat? There's regular and then there's: grass fed, no hormones, no steroids, no anti biotics. Fish, there's regular off the shelf, often contaminated with mercury and other chemicals..... and then there's some brands of seafood, like: vitalchoice.com, that is from cleaner waters, and it actually tested for contaminants. As for Juicing, glad you are fiinding this is working well. I love juicing! AS for Protonix: This is just one ingredient that Protonix contains, and it is a Fungicide, apparently a type of pesticide used in agriculture. How strange to find this in a drug, used to treat acid reflex. Benzimidazole fungicides are low use-rate, broad-spectrum fungicides, widely used in agriculture for pre- and post-harvest treatment for control of a wide range of pathogens. Active ingredients in Protonix Protonix contains the following active ingredients. Click on the ingredient name to view details. Pantoprazole Pantoprazole is a substituted benzimidazole indicated for the short-term treatment (up to 16 weeks) in the healing and symptomatic relief of erosive esophagitis. Joyce,
I read too much meat feeds us to an over glutamate situation, which is an excitotoxin. We need to balance glutamate & GABA. Too much meat can also cause ammonia to build up in our system, not good for kidneys, brain, etc. Some kids w autism have high glutamate. They get high on the meat. Too many vaccines have MSG. Injecting bypasses our gut protection & goes to the brain. Amy Yasko teachers to to balance glutamate by taking vit. C or Yucca when eating meat. Hear is vaccine video on the aluminum & of course toxic mercury feeding glutamate receptors. He says too much glutamate causes degenerative diseases. Interesting to say the least. Glutamine feeds glutamate. Wheat is high in glutamate. Kathy from neuroscientist/ neurosurgeon Dr. Russell Blaylock at the 2011 vaccine safety conference. He does a wonderful job describing how and why vaccine adjuvants are harmful to EVERYONE to varying degrees. When you get the time, please view and then pass along this information. <http://www.facebook .com/l/RAQF3HF8v /www.youtube. com/watch? v=u9DkcpEEBPI>http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=u9DkcpEEBPI http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=u9DkcpEEBPI Kathy From: Joyce <[hidden email]> Subject: [eSens] meat To: [hidden email] Date: Tuesday, July 24, 2012, 11:01 PM Just thought I would get in my two cents' worth. I eat organic meat but not grass-fed. My eggs come from Costco but are organic too. Interesting how this is turning out! I was trying out Paleo diets but my body has said no.

Of course, all of the symptoms you listed are detox symptoms, so that diet might actually be good for you, but you'd just need to do it a bit LESS to avoid unpleasant detox side effects. During most of my recovery, I had a vegan diet (no meat, no dairy), but in more recent years I've added a small amount of meat (no more than once per day) Marc |
