I was wondering if anyone knows of any cordless phones that don't constantly
emit rf between the base stations and handsets when not in use? -- Paul Coffman [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
Have a look at "Orchid" brand phones; don't know if they're available outside of the UK, but they're DECT phones that were specially designed not to emit RF from the base station when not in use. They also have a "low radiation" mode that keeps the signal power down...I think it adjusts it based onthe proximity of the phone to the base station.
There's another company that recently came out with "green", lower radiation cordless phones, one of the more mainstream companies, but I've forgottenwhich one. Often, older ones, like those that operate at 900 Mhz instead of the GHz range, don't emit when not in use. But you have to check! I've seen some that still do emit. If you must use a cordless, go with something like I've described above; though, the best is to not use cordless if possible - it still goes into yourhead when in use! Paul, i have never meter checked it, but i have a cordless 2.4 ghtz panasonic which doesn't bother me and the only time it did was when i had the homeopathic treatment i just mentioned in my reply to Joni. of course i cannot make the claim it wouldn't bother you--you might be more sensitive than me. i do not think it emits 24/7 tho.

All these devices in my oppinion are Anti-Nature, they should be shunned as they lead to a disruption in the harmony of our natural surroundings and deprive us of the inner peice that our bodies and indeed minds require to thrive, as far as Iam concerned thay are borderline Evil, both for now and their future potential. hi, Paul,
it is a Panasonic KX-TG2205 2.4 GHz "Gigarange Digital" phone. what is interesting here is, almost all electrical digital products bother me. this phone never did bother me when it was not being used. and the only time it bothered me during use was during the homeopathy treatments. it might be that i got used to it prior to becoming severely es, i am in denile ( :) ), or it is made in a way which is a little different from othercordless phones..... i always used it on speakerphone function, and that may have made a difference. good luck. diane --- On Sat, 6/20/09, Paul Coffman <[hidden email]> wrote: From: Paul Coffman <[hidden email]> Subject: Re: [eSens] land line cordless phones that don't constantly emit rf To: [hidden email] Date: Saturday, June 20, 2009, 12:47 PM Evie - What is the exact model?
