Recycling keeps mercury-containing products out of inappropriate waste disposal streams (especially through incineration), and is the preferred disposal method in most states for mercury-containing lamps and is consistent with solid waste disposal bans and partial bans in some states.

I have NOT, but I doubt there is such a thing
as a "healthy CFL"... :-)

My opinion, i don't think there is such a thing as a "healthy fluorescent light bulb". All fluorescent light bulbs put out dirty electricity.
