This is a bit speculative, but thought it may have some merit.
I was reading that many organs in our body have to have a certain PH to work properly. If that is the case, I am curious if EMF or mercury have a consistent impact on PH, and whether this could contribute to worse overall symptoms, due to organs not have correct PH. If we know this then we can modify diet, eating more acidic or alkaline foods to compensate. Glenn |

Hi Andrew,
Do you know which way the PH is impacted? Do we become more acidic or alkaline when in the presence of EMF or mercury? It's supposed to be super alkalanizing, and when put into a glass of distilled water the pH rises from 7 to 10. So I found that I was able to counter the acidity caused by the EMF with an alkalanizer. Marc |

My guess is acidic. I don't have any hard data on this other than
reading tons of stuff about cancers and other growths that need an acidic environment to flourish. Since certain EMF cause abnormal cell reproduction, free radical damage, etc., the EMF's are altering our DNA and electrons and (I think) disturbing the good guys that balance the system. There is much to learn about how to read the pH paper with urine and saliva. My understanding is urine needs to be slightly more acidic 6.4-7 and saliva needs to be 7-7.5. (I am doing this off the top of my head) When you test during the day gets different results, etc. I can dig up some research on this if needed. I have done supplements, foods and liquid drops that alkalize water,
etc. and I went overboard at first. The key is balance and a diet that is balanced. That may mean we are digesting and breathing so many toxins that we need an alkaline diet. That is up to you and your body type. Different personalities and blood types respond VERY differently to foods and require different solutions. I recommend using the pH paper regularly (both saliva and urine) and find what works for you. Thanks Marc,
I just ordered some Microhydrin. It seems to be a very powerful antioxidant as well - which is good for ES. It turns out my current supplement plan with USANA also causes alkalinity, so that explains why I feel so good when I take it. I figured I would try Microhydrin anyways, to give me that extra dose of antioxidants. > I just ordered some Microhydrin. It seems to be a very powerful
> antioxidant as well - which is good for ES. Note that Microhydrin has a rather complex past. The original version of this supplement no longer exists, although I think most of the studies and testimonials were for the original version. In 2002, there was a falling out between its inventor/manufacturer (Patrick Flanagan) and its distributer (Royal Body Care), and Royal Body Care decided to carry on without the inventor, selling its own version (reverse engineered?) of Microhydrin, while Flanagan made a new, improved version which is sold as "Active H-" by New Vision and "Megahydrin" by his own company. More recently there is even something called "Megahydrate". Whatever version you use, I find that it has the most noticeably beneficial effect if it is mixed in water. So I buy the pure powder, since the capsules have some filler material that doesn't dissolve in the water. Over time I became less acidic, and found that I had to cut back on this supplement, because it makes me go into over-alkalinity (which from MSA testing appears to be hard on my pancreas). But that's probably not something to worry about for most people who are terribly acidic to start with. And even today, I still take a small amount of Active H-/Megahydrin every day, but its about 1/4 the recommended amount, so a 50g bottle lasts me 400 days (!) Marc |

Hello,
I think after all these years of searching, spending vast amounts of money, suffering the tortures of the damned for uncounted years I've found the ultimate solution to my electrical sensitivity, leaky gut, food allergies, chemical allergies, depression, i.e. the whole ugly package. I realize what I've just said sounds like total absolute bullshit so let me explain. First of all, let me state that I've been totally absolutely free of all electrical sensitivities for the past 3 weeks that have plagued me continously for 24 years. What caused this miracle? Two weeks ago I took the first shot in a series of shots from my MD that's been instrumental in keeping me alive for the past 10 years. On my previous visit, he told me that there was something totally new that they were importing from Czechoslovakia that had shown miraculous results in reversing severe health problems caused by allergies including food allergies leading to leaky gut among other things. I said that along with the leaky gut, my electrical sensitivities were making my life a total hell especially after undergoing a series of chelations to get rid of heavy metals. He said that it was his opinion that electrical sensitivity was caused by the same cascade of events that lead to all allergies. He said that in his opinion, though the allergen was in a class entirely different than anything now considered to be responsible for allergic reactions, that he believed it operated by the same process & might well respond to this therapy also. To tell you the truth, I had no great expectations for this. This is about the thousanth thing I've tried over the years & there was no reason to expect that this would produce any real results of any consequence. They had to send for the shots, which are shipped from eastern europe to Great Britton to Canada to the US. It took a month for the first three shots to get here. They give a minimum of three shots to determine if the person is receiving any benefit. If after 3 shots no improvement is observed, the shots are discontinued. If results are received, the shots are continued until 10 have been given. By that time a persons bone marrow should be producing the substance in these shots. At this time, the percentage of people taking the shots who've gotten positive results is 87%. The substance is a combination of "peptides". At this time, I don't really know what exactly a peptide is. There was an explanation of how these shot work that they gave me to read. It was very technical. My understanding is that it stops the chain reaction of events that occur in all allergic reactions. Antihistamines only work at the very end of these chain reactions & do nothing of any long term benefit. According to my interpretation of this information, an allergen causes the production of IG-E (immunoglobulin-E) which is produced in great quantities whenever an allergen is detected. IG-E then plugs into mast cells which then dump out inflammation causing prostaglandins, histamine, along with seratonin. This then leads to more inflammation, more IG-E release & more & more things causing allergic reactions. More foods, more inhalants, & probably more energy frequencies that irritate already inflamed mucous membranes in the lungs, nose, & gut. This is just my interpretation from what I've read & what I've experienced so far taking these shots. The shots are taken in a series. After the first shot, another is given a week later. The next is given after another 3 weeks & from then on they are given monthly until 10 have been given. I was told that I might not notice anything until after the second shot. I may be an exception but I could begin to notice a definite reduction after only an hour. I'd had to drive 3 hours on the Interstate to get the shot then sat in the doctors office for a while under flourescent lights. I barely knew where I was at with the terrific brain fog at that time. I ached all over, my feet were hot & numb, my gut was boiling & burning, my hands were shaking, my blood pressure & pulse were way up. After receiving the shot in the ass, boy did that hurt, I began driving back. After about an hour my brain fog & fullness in the head began to diminish, as well as the aching, burning in my feet & other symptoms. The next day I woke up for the first time in years feeling great. I felt refreshed, happy & felt Absolutely no electrical sensitivity in all the places I'd always felt it & that's the way its stayed for the last 3 weeks. I had my second shot a week ago & will have the next in 2 weeks from now. I had decided not to mention anything about this here on the eSens group until enough time had gone by that I was pretty sure this wasn't just some fluke or placebo effect or something. It's my luck of course that something could still go wrong of course but at this time, I'm very optomistic. For anyone that wants to look into this, the only contact I can give you is my doctor. He would know if there are other doctors in the US doing this yet. I do know that this is something that can't just be shipped to your regular doctor so he can give you the shot. Any doctor in this program has to go to Toronto, Ontario to receive instruction in administering this before he can give it. My doctors name is Terry Chappell, MD. His clinic is the Celebration of Health Center in Bluffton, Ohio which is about 50 miles south of Toledo. His phone is 419-358-4627. John M. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

You might also look into Potassium Citrate and Magnesium Citrate. These are excellent pH buffers and easily absorbable. I get a 300mg:200mg combo-mix from www.cfsn.com. I haven't been able to find these in combination elsewhere, though you could get a local compounding pharmacy to make it for you, too. And taking Vitamin C in Sodium Ascorbate form (pH 7.1) does double duty giving C and providing alkalinity, too. :) Calcium Ascorbate can be used instead if sodium levels are more problematic than calcium levels. John, thank you very much. How wonderful to hear that you're doing well. Obviously your story is of tremendous interest. If you can share any more information at all, whatever else your doctor may have told you (risks? costs? long term studies?) I am on the edge of my seat and probably others on the list are too. The cheapest place I found in a quick search is here: http://www.primev.com/pro304101.htm It lists Mega-H powder at US$89.95. That's supposed to be 100 day supply, but like I said, it lasts me 4 times longer because I only take 1/4 scoop a day. Earlier on, however, I think I was taking the equivalent of 2 scoops per day. I wish I knew more details about the company that makes this. At this time I don't though. The reference on the informational handout had only AL with an r in a circle , meaning registered, I guess. I've done searches on the internet for "al" & ", Allergies" & "peptides" & didn't find anything that looked like it could be it. I'll try & find out more. Any doctor in this program has to go to Toronto, Ontario to receive instruction in administering this before he can give it. > My doctors name is Terry Chappell, MD. His clinic is the Celebration of Health Center in Bluffton, Ohio which is about 50 miles south of Toledo. Something I bumped into at the Whole Foods store the other day. An organic, vegan, *alkalizing* protein snack bar chock-full of yummy stuff. It's from a company called Organic Food Bar, and this particular bar was called "Active Greens". Here are the ingredients from the wrapper: "Organic Almond Butter, Organic Date Paste, Organic Agave Nectar, Organic Brown Rice Protein, Organic Raisins, Organic Flax Sprouts, Organic Quinoa Sprouts, Organic Sesame Seeds, Organic Wheat Grass Juice Powder, Organic Barley Grass Juice Powder, Organic Hawaiian Spirulina, Organic Blueberry, Organic Raspberry, Organic Beet Juice Powder, Organic Broccoli Sprouts" Did I mention it was organic? ;) Other info from the wrapper: "Our Alkaline Forming bar consists of 90% Raw, enzymatically live Organic Superfoods..." "VEGAN FRIENDLY, 90% Raw, 10 Grams of Healthy Fats, 14 Grams of Protein, No Trans Fatty Acids, No Refined Sugars, Over 4000 mg of Phytonutrient Rich Superfoods" They have an entire line, but this one took my fancy. The bar tastes great and I felt good and sustained after eating one, even with the spirulina it contains. Here are some links for more info: http://www.organicfoodbar.com/about.htm (About their bars) http://www.organicfoodbar.com/read.htm (PDFs of the wrappers) I think I'll have another one after writing this.
