What makes you think it's their tv that's bothering you, then? Can you see when they have it on and does that correlate in time with your symptoms? The times that your electricity gets particularly dirty depend on what everyone on your substation line is doing, not just what your immediate neighbors are up to. When the electricity is particularly dirty, how do you feel? Shivani Arjuna www.LifeEnergies.com . [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
Hello,
I think that here we do not have a matter of *dirty power* but *dirty air*. If you do not have a special VLF detector, one may use a HAM radio as a detector. Ramsey electronics sells a "passive" airband radio kit for $90
(or preassembled $150). I'm planning to get one. Ideally it could be modified for even broader reception, and directional antenna? I suppose the neighbor's TV could be radiating through their power lines, and those radiate through air to your place. So it might be worth trying a filter (Tripp Lite makes some consumer oriented ones that are worth trying) at the TV. What kind of TV is it? A lot of the big flat panels can make an AM radio buzz several feet away. When you test your power, do you have a clean ground to measure against? Good luck with that... :-) Marc PUK replies - yes poor emc design in some tvs and consumer electronics leads to just this ie conducted emissions which will also lead to radiated emissions along their path, the length Of the cables or should i saY unintended antennas will change frequncy of input and so on its complcated, imagine a hose pipe with loads of small holes - a leaky feader well thats what we have, but if the conduceted emissions find their way into your house cables then you have a concentrated burst of signals, you might as well be sitting in front of the neighbours TV and when I say neighbour I mean anyone within 100m or more on the same phase as the offending TV, like me you are getting a power driven modulated conducted signal form a bad Plasma TV into you home then the only way you can stop it is to smoke the TV ! I have told the people who have the TV 18 months ago ( and in a letter) that the emissions make me very unwell and that it should be incumbant upon them to stop them emissions from leaving their property via the mains and telecoms cables, essentially they are electronically torturing and assualting me on a daily basis ! puk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Would it help if I youtubed this ? puk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

PUK replies - dirty power will become dirty air and to some extent vicere verser, if its in the wires it in the air ! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
