i seem to be sensitive (AWARE) of MANY things.
those who are not aware, seem to think illness
just grabs them out of the blue, for no reason,
so i am very aware of what is going on in my
environment and with my body... also how my
thoughts affect my body.
i think we have identified what needs to be
known to keep us healthy and this awareness
is an asset, as long as we are willing to live in
tune with what we learn. as long as we
recognize the source of our discomfort but do
not take steps to correct the situation, then
we do not benefit from our awareness but
just sit and suffer. we need to be very clear
that we do not subject ourselves unnecessarily
to those things we have learned are detrimental
to our health.
and yes, i have to watch many things - what i
wear, what i eat and drink, the 'entertainment'
i allow, the company i keep... the thoughts i think.
we need to immerse ourselves in love, which is
the feeling of relaxation and safety we get when
we are simple and happy and free from too
many 'challenges'. modern life is a HUGE
challenge. nature is kind, gentle, wise.
and i'd rather be 'sensitive' and 'aware' than
to just lay down and get sick and die and
think of myself as a victim. i am aware and
i am also an 'action-taker'. :)
