Can you tell use more about the specific problems your wife is experiencing?

It sounds like this primarily occurs outdoors, so perhaps you think it's due
to cell phone towers or wireless electrical meters?

Anything else she reacts to?  TV sets?  florescent lighting?  dimmer switches?
computers?  wi-fi?  wireless telephones?  cellphones?  power lines?

Any other (non-EMF sensitivities)?  chemicals?  smells?  allergies?

Any other chronic health problems?  Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?  Fibromyalgia?
etc.

Anything that you've tried already that has helped?  Anything you tried that
did NOT help?

Did anything unusual happen before the onset of the EMF sensitivities?

hi,to answer your question about other sensetivies my wife has, there are a few others such as, floresent lighting, electronic antitheft montoring devices in some stores some flatscreen tv's, cell towers, to name a few. as far as what we have tried a been successful with is our make shift faraday cage throughout our house. unsuccessful, were the clothes that we purchased to combat some of these problems.going back to the drawing now to try something, so that she will be able to leave the house without suffering. just not sure what direction to go just yet. thanks bob

RE: any advice

Elizabeth thode

Hi Bob, Welcome to our place. Okay, so your wife is effected by lots of things. Runs the range between digital appliances, cell towers, ..this leaves me wondering: Does YOUR house have a new smart meter on it? The new electrical meters the utility co's are replacing the analog meters. Is there a smart meter "now" on your home? Have you purchased any new appliances lately, which might have a "smart chip in them" which could be further aggravating your wife. And next question: What "kind" of clothing did your wife try, that didn't work?Next question: Is your wife sensitive to strong smells? Perfumes? Cleaners? Cig smoke? Next question: Is your wife on any medications? Does she have any other conditions? Yes, this is important.Electrical sensitivity isn't just an "allergy" to technology. It is often a blend of other conditions all in one.Does she have any food allergies? IE: Dairy, wheat, peanuts, ect?  Next question: Do you have a cordless telephone in your house? How close are the cell towers to your home, how many? Bob, not trying to pry, but ES is a multi syndrome condition. The more information we have, the more information we have to work with, so we can see what's what. The people on this site run the gamit, full blown Electrical Sensitivity, some who react to house electricity, some who react to wireless technologies, some who react to both, some had other conditons prior toES, some were fine until they got a smart meter on their house. The more information you can provide, the better we can try to help your wife. Blessings of Many, Lizzie

Bob, generally the advise I give out - in general - to everyone is:

-- avoid putting metal on your body (including jewelry, eyeglasses,
   car keys, underwire bras)

-- if you have metal dental work, consider getting it removed and
replaced with composite materials (including mercury amalgam
dental fillings, braces, mouth guards, titanium screws for
   implants)

-- avoid spending a lot of time on metal furniture (including
mattresses with metal innersprings, and metal bed frames)

-- replace florescent lights in your house with incandescent lights

-- replace dimmer switches with regular on/off switches

-- replace cordless telephones with corded telephones

-- replace plasma TV sets with LCD TV sets

-- turn off wi-fi transmitters / receivers -- use ethernet cables
   instead

-- if a particular piece of electronics is known to be especially
bothersome, try replacing it with something else (some electronics
are really hit & miss, despite seeming similar)

-- add adrenal and/or thyroid support supplements

-- add anti-oxidants (I particularly like the hydrogen supplements
   like mega-hydrate, hydrogen boost)

-- try increasing intake of essential fatty acids (evening primrose
   oil, sardines, etc.)

-- add supplements or foods high in calcium, magnesium, potassium.

-- if your really adventuresome, start experimenting with EMF
protection devices -- both the whole house variety, and also
the portable types that you keep on your body when you're out
and about.  My favorites include Quantum Products, Mega-Chi
   pendant, Earthcalm, and "Polarizers".

-- think about doing a heavy metal detox (although be very careful
   about this)

-- think about doing things to kill off chronic, low level bacterial,
   viral, fungal, and mycoplasma infections

Also, in this day and age of "smart meters" for
electricity/gas/water, I should add another item to my list:

-- if your house has a smart meter on it, avoid spending
time in that part of the house that is nearest to the
meter.  You may want to try and "opt out" and get
the meter replaced with an older analog meter.   Or
you may want to just move somewhere else where
   these meters aren't an issue.

(there is probably some shielding/EMF protection device
solution to smart meters as well, but so far I cannot
recall anyone reporting success with these)

There is a USA button right beside Canada button.  I haven't taken time to look on that site however.
