Thanks Patricia,

You started me thinking about frankincense again and have been reading about it tonight. I was concerned about the smell since I have MCS, so I got out a bottle that was given me as a gift which is not a very special brand. I put a few drops in my hand and then wiped it off. I couldn't stand the smell so I started washing it off. I washed it off with three different soaps....3 times and could not get the smell off. I guess I will have to take a pill or something.

I've tried frankincense in the past, and it gave me head pains.  I've even tried the supposed "most-pure" brand out there, DoTerra.  I've encountered this with other essential oils, so I generally avoid these.  The only exception I make is oil or oregano, for fighting off infections (which doesn't cause me head pains)

hi, marc - and patsy - and all...

a little of any essential oil goes a VERY long way.
they are extremely concentrated.
it's good to dilute them, usually, in neutral oils.
they are very helpful when used appropriately.
they've been used for healing for millennia, before
petroleum-based pharmaceuticals became the
standard... thanks to "rockefeller medicine" -

oregano is very good as an oil or a tincture or
fresh from the plant.  very healing.

love, patricia

Boswella is frankincense in capsule form. It's good for arthritis and intestinal issues. Maybe you can try it that way

I'm also trying frankincense from DoTerra,
some have healed brain tumors with this, they say,
by using drops in the mouth.
I tried it 3 times a day first,
but i got massive headaches from it,
and even though it's just a drop,
i think it still burns me internally.
So i switched to 1 per a day,
but this seems to give me problems as well.
I like this product though,
It does give a relaxing feeling, likeable,
but using it internally doesn't seem right to me/for me.
It may be too strong for me with my MCS?
So i'll try externally only now.
This product likely won't help for EHS though.
