a place for a holliday

Drasko Cvijovic-2

I am currently in Soline, at island Mljet, Croatia, here I came as
was told this place has no antennae and no mobile phone reception, what
really is the case!

So, according to my sensitive meter, here
is one of the rare places in civilized world where there is nothing
measurable... For those of you familiar with measurements, it is
probably unimaginable that a place with white noise (monitored through
simple decoding of the signals) exists!
There is ADSL connection so
I have the Internet over wireless, but the host was kind enough to be
putting it off over the night...

Not to mention that the nature
is protected by government and is probably among the best such places
in the Old World... You can check it at
http://www.np-mljet.hr/about%20national%20park.html

The
prices of acomodation are rather modest, say about 50 Euro per person
for full board and lodging at private apartments (there are only
several houses in this village in the completely EMF free
environment)... Just there is small issue of how to get here being it
an island, but if anyone would like to try coming, I can give some
instructions...

Drasko,

Thanks for that, Mljet is now definitely on my vacation list!

Tomorrow I'm going to Ko Chang, an island that's also mainly "untouched" with mass tourism. It's very close to the border Thailand-Cambodja... Don't think it's cell phone free there though!

Right now Thailand is quite low on emf. But it will get worse, of course! ;-) Recently they've launched 3G (or something like that) in Bangkok and that will be spread in the entire Thailand pretty soon I think...

gr,
Stephen.

Re: Wooden flooring?

Christina Steils
Im getting some wooden flooring put down in my new house.
This new flooring will be sitting on a thin plastic membrane to stop the mosture effecting the wood. Underneath this is the concrete foor.
The timber is Oak skin on ply.
Does anyone recommend this as a good earthing situation, than carpet that is already there.
The finally treatment will be a Hard wax oil, which i hear you re do every 18 months.
I would like to know if this works with others? As we are such sensertive people!!!

Re: Wooden flooring?

I'm busy putting in ceramic tile flooring myself. I just finished the bathroom. My next room I'm thinking of putting some kind of blocking material under the hardibacker. Maybe aluminum foil. I like the effect that the ceramic tile has on me. It could take me ten years but I may do most of the rooms and some of the walls with ceramic tile.

Hi Drasko,

I am Croatian and I have been on the board for a bout a year now. Going back to Croatia last spring and coming back to Toronto is how I finally found out that I am electrosensitive. Over there, I got off the plane and felt great, coming here I got off the plane, as if I got hit by a track.

Until then I was thinking it was all psychosomatic (or I allowed doctors, friends, significant others to persuade me it was in my head). So literally, I put my luggage down and started researching by goggling my symptoms. The same day I found Earth-calm device and a week later this forum. My life has not been the same since.

My condition is much better now after a year of learning, talking to people I met here and following some good advice... Just wishI found it about 5 years sooner. I guess better late than never. I cannot wait to go back to Croatia to see if I am actually going to feel that much difference...

So thanks to Marc and everyone who put their effort into this group. Special thanks to Charles and his hard work,  MAY YOUR ORANGETEAM GO ALL THE WAY!

Re: a place for a holliday

Marji

Sandra, that was a wonderful story about your experience in Croatia, not having any EMF's to affect you. Also I was interested in your use of the Earth-Calm device that you said helped you so much when you were in a radiation area. Would you mind telling us which device you used? I checked the website (had not heard of this company before) and they have so many I haven't a clue which to try. Mostly I want one for my daughter who uses a cell phone constantly!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Marji
