I am out of the closet.
Stop Wi-Fi City Council http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMAFdakhyJo The council has voted to have this topic on its next meeting as a special item under public safety. The back door political games have begun! If anyone can drive to Raleigh, please let me know. I can use all the help I can get. Andrew, I think this is a great presentation for less emf in your area! First you start in the city council, get some media attention and work your way up to the senate!
Probably you know this or you have done it already: it seems to me that collecting signatures of local habitants seems to have an effect on political decisions... gr, Stephen. --- In [hidden email], Andrew McAfee <amcafeerr@...> wrote: > > I am out of the closet. > > Stop Wi-Fi City Council > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMAFdakhyJo > > The council has voted to have this topic on its next meeting as a > special item under public safety. Hi, Andrew! I am a bit stuck with my struggle, but I am glad to see you areabout to make some progress!I have some experience with public awareness(among others, I participated at Prague 2004 WHO workshop on ES where they, more or less, concluded to consider it a psychiatric problem)... The onlyway I can try to be of help to you at the moment is a suggestion to keep with this simplification:
1. None of the serious researchers would disagree that biological effectsexist far below the current exposition limits. They do differ in the estimation of how risky those effect are. 2. Those effects are certainly notsomething beneficial, not any of a vitamin kind.3. The extent of such effects we are willing to accept should be as a minimal precondition - left to ourselves. At least we differ in sensitivity, lifestyles, and willingness to sacrifice our health for the sake of so-called progress. This simplification is usefull as trying to convince them the health risk is real and proven - is a mislead! I wish you the very best luck!Regards, Drasko [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

So THAT'S what you look like! ;)
Seriously, Andrew, doing what you did takes balls of steel. I'm actually a good speaker, but get nervous when presenting stuff like this to people in person. Thank you for doing this. I'm nowhere near you, but you have my support nonetheless. Bravo, Andrew. Thank you so much for your work. I hope your initiative begins to snowball, and more and more come on board, and the world wakes up.
Yesterday, I went up to Petaluma, CA, from Berkeley, CA where I currently live, in search of new housing (I have been homeless for 3 years due to chemical and electrical sensitivities). I am getting fried in Berkeley, by thedensity of cell phone and radio towers, the wi-fi routers everywhere, and (perhaps especially) the new Smart Meter program (wireless devices on everyhome's gas and electric meters). 40% of Petaluma has had Smart Meters installed so far (much less than Berkeley). However, the place that I went tosee -- which was the first place in several potential housing possibilities that was not chemically toxic for me (I have severe Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) -- was in a Petaluma neighborhood where Smart Meters have been installed on every house. The houses are very close together, closer than here in Berkeley, and the electrosmog seemed even higher. -Sue --- In [hidden email], Andrew McAfee <amcafeerr@...> wrote: > > I am out of the closet. > > Stop Wi-Fi City Council > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMAFdakhyJo > > The council has voted to have this topic on its next meeting as a > special item under public safety.
