You won't like what's coming

https://steemit.com/covid/@munkle/permanent-injectable-biochip-covid-sensors-near-fda-approval

A technology being developed by a San Francisco Bay Area company in conjunction with the Defense Department, and a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, irreversibly ties humans to an artificial intelligence "cloud," and provides feedback to a database on changes in body chemistry. The technology is marketed as being useful in detecting cases of COVID before symptoms show.

"today scientists are presenting results showing tiny biosensors that become one with the body...and stream data to a mobile phone and to the cloud....tiny biosensors composed of a tissue-like hydrogel, similar to a soft contact lens, that are painlessly placed under the skin with a single injection.
Biooptics World, an industry magazine, describe Profusa sensors as "Injectable biosensors that become one with the body's tissue"

This is just ridiculous. Why are non-medical industries specifically so paranoid about catching COVID-19 symptoms early? Apparently, they seem to be expecting the disease to reinfect people (on a large scale), or something, because if it washes over the populace, and everyone becomes immune, the technology won't really have much time to get used, or if it does, it will only be useful for diagnosing a small minority of people, in which case, they would probably lose a lot of money.

Irreversible biotechnology screams all kinds of wrong. Irreversible anything (practically) screams all kinds of wrong. Even if it were morally, ethically, scientifically, religiously, and psychologically sound (and it is none of those things), what if they made a mistake in their creation, or what if there were irreversible bugs in the programming? What if some future microbe interacted with this system to cause a lot of problems? What if the scientific community came to accept electrical sensitivity some day?

The psychological impact of this alone is enough not to allow it. I don't think anyone should argue that it wouldn't hurt people psychologically.

Putting radio wave transmitters in people's eyes sounds like it could kill some people (probably including me).

The eye is probably the worst place, health-wise, you could put one (except maybe the heart or the center of the brain).

And why is it the Defense department that is funding it?

And if the vaccine works, why do they need to inject biotechnology along with a vaccine?
