What's wrong with electric cars?

So I have been testing vehicles to buy and so far some of the best cars with the best readings are the electric cars. From this community and others all I have heard are bad things about electric cars for EHS people. Are there issues other than electric and magnetic fields? I picked up zero electric fields and lower magnetic fields than the majority of conventional vehicles. Is the issue when the car is charging or is it something else?

I think the concern was while driving, because of the big electric motor under the hood.
How did you feel in it?? I never tried one.

Generally with newer cars it is the high frequency RF from the newer electronics that bother me... it doesn't sound like people are even attempting to measure those here...

For example, in my current car (a 2006 Acura RSX), I think the most bothersome thing in it is the sensors inside the seat that determines how much the airbag will deploy in an accident.

My experience with electric vehicles is limited... I test drove one of the earlier Priuses, and it did bother me, but I got the impression that it was something in the dashboard (e.g., LCD screen) that was bothering me the most.

The RFs in my 2017 with full 8 inch LCD screen aren't off the charts. The level is pretty moderate. The RFs seem to be more indicative of the environment I'm passing through as it fluctuates quite a bit. Of course I have bluetooth and wifi disabled as well. The ELFs on the other hand are pretty high and the fact that there seems to be no recourse (it's coming from way to many angles to shield it) make the ELFs pretty discouraging in my case.

I tried a BMW i3. The engine is in the back as well. I test drove it again today and the magnetic field readings are lower than anything I've tested yet for the driver!!! Now the backseat is awful but I don't really plan on driving anyone around so that doesn't matter much to me. I haven't had any problems with RF in the majority of vehicles as there are usually options to disable bluetooth, wifi, etc. Of course I bring my RF meter too to test both. My main issue is the magnetic fields, so I am trying to find the best vehicle with low magnetic fields. So far the electric cars seem to be the lowest surprisingly. I will be testing it more on the highway to see if higher speeds will increase the field, but as of yet I got up to about 65 and its lower than the other vehicles I tested in regards to magnetic fields.
