What am I reacting to?

sandimaurer
I am trying to figure what is it that I am reacting to with my
computer. I have measured the EMF's and nothing shows up as unusually
high. The body voltage doesn't seem any higher, there is no magnetic
field where I am sitting, and no unusal radio frequencies. I measured
those with the RF field strength meter. It seems to be my 17"
flatscreen which bothers me. After about 10 minutes on the computer my
thinking and concentration go haywire. I have to work hard to keep my
mind and focus together. I have the brightness of the screen turned
down. I have always had this trouble with this computer.(Gateway) What
could be causing this? I wonder if a screen over the flat panel would
help?

Thanks,
Sandi

You should try taking a portable AM radio, and tune it to where there is
no radio station. You'll probably notice a large increase in noise
on the radio when you bring it closer to the monitor.

I never had much luck with shielding a monitor. The best luck I've
had is with EMF protection devices and moving the monitor further
away from you (I try to keep the distance between the front of
the screen and my face at about 3 feet). And yes, turning down
the brightness does help me as well.

You simply do not have enough meters to find out.

Most commonly it may be, that your monitor is sending signals around 30 kHz,
which can be very annoying, and alarming.

I have a Phil;ips LCD flatscreen TV, and checked it on radiation before
buying.
So far, so good.
However, I have added a Mvision satellite receiver.
When it is on, a blue light is shining from the front.
As soon, as this is on, my wife leaves the room instantly.
So I have placed the receiver in a cabinet., with the door closed.

But when I use a manu for choosing other channels, the TV screen emits
strong 30 kHz signals, and my wife leaves the room again.

I found with somebody a Panasonic plasma TV.
Enormous signals.

The day before yesterday I checked a Samsung, because the lady of the house
had troubles.
I found on the right side of the Screen two large spots which did emit
strong fields.
And, on the bottom of the screen, there was , yes, a blue light.
Bingo.
So that will be another TV.

At the time I lived in the Netherlands, I used a phone with a cord, which
was placed near my computer and within 2 meters from our dining table.
My wife hat trouble on my computer, and telephoning did only last a minute.
She also refused to eat at the dining table.
I got a prototype of this VLF meter, or called HAARP Detector, and I found
strange signals on the display of my phone.
(The sounds are placed on my website under info)
I exchanged this phone for a simpler, and less sensible one, and the
problems with my wife were gone.

On two places in Belgium, I use this phone agin, and without any problem
whatsoever.

Probably, the durtch phone company had placed a phone tap on my line.
In the netherlands, phone taps are placed more than in the USA!

Do not underestimate those 30 kHz signals.
The Stetzerizer meter only measures inside wall sockets, not in space.

Sandi I know exactly what you are talikng about, as well as the cognitive
problems do you get raised tinitus, burning sensation on scalp and temples. I
ma reaching the end of the radioactive rainbow on this one, my laptop has
500v/m elec feild at the monitor and 50mguass to keyboard etc. I guess these
high readings sling out RF all over the shop, probably chemical molecules take
the ride to. I think my professional use of computers is coming to an end,
dwindling alongside my bank balance.. I took the battery out of my laptop no h
elp, I have to push it so far back that I cant read the screen this is bad
for eyes plus posture. I also took the connection off the mouse pad, but
still no good, I think we are talking so very prime components that are effecting
us so we cant do much at the moment. Also dont forget that mouse and
keyboard give of similar rf etc to the computer. You could try infrared mouse and
keyboard ? Also try some tin foil on your head. You should also check that
you are not getting any earth loops in your wiring that will bring in stray
current to the pc and radiate off. agin trifeild meter and am radio are good
detectors here.

There's a chance that you're sensitized to the
EMF released by the power supply in the monitor.
Even a Dell ultrasharp emmits a relatively low amount
of RF, but it has a high magnetic field (15 mili gauss)
at the front screen. The electrosmog is at 60 khz, so the
RF meter won't pick it up so much.

It sounds like your laptop isn't grounded, considering
that high electric field.

If you are using a tri-field meter for RF, it is just not sensitive enough
(it's only
good for microwave ovens, if that).
An AM radio is a good idea.

I've been through Best Buy with an AM radio. Every screen there puts out
RF, but
some sound really strange.

Hi Sandi,

First, rule out that it is indeed the monitor.
Try sitting in from of the computer with everyting on, but turn off the
monitor. Do you still get the same reaction?

It is good to make sure, before taking steps to correct what could be the
wrong problem.

I have tried to do this with my laptop and have been very tempted to take
the screen off its hinges and lengthen the cables, but it looks a bit more
comlicated than that.

Yep been checking mine too to find the AC adapter to the ATT modem
which is new since i moved in is the main cause i think i do have
another with high readings but it was the phone cradle and adapter to
cordless phone doesnt do it with the twin phone to the set i moved it
to other side of room. But i am still getting it mostly from the side i
put the AC adapter which is about 4 ft from me trifield shows nothing
until 1 ft away it is lighter feel than underneath the computer from
where it was tho. it is either that are underneath this room is copper
water piping that has a high charge that the satellite company grounded
their wire too. But when i do trifield on floor nothing comes thru to
me i am getting it on the arm area of the AC adapter and from my feet
so i tried putting feet up on chair it goes away when i put on another
object i have it. I am so confused wish i had a better meter to check
this but the trifield was expensive enough. I was told from someone
drinking or eating kiwi or mango everyday it helps in sensitivity is
that true? Crystals wise i use the sodalite and it works some times but
not all the time. I am going thru a detox of my system now to see if
that might help. This is the second day and nothing so far. it is a 2
week detox. Any suggestions on anything? I am going to move the
computer to other side of room to see if this makes a difference since
the computer is on wall the stove, refrigerator and microwave, they all
measure but have unplug the microwave until we need it no difference in
here. Ref. and micro is measure some in the front but sure it is high
in the backside on that wall. Why does everyone think you are crazy
when you mention this to them. Most think this isnt possible.

I think you might need to alter your expectations regarding
detox. I spent thousands of dollars and several years on
detox, and it took I noticed a difference from one year
to the next, but certainly not on daily (or monthly) basis.
Detox can take a long time, and I think many people give
up way too soon.

> Any suggestions on anything?

Have you looked into trying an alternative type of AC/DC
adapter? Places like http://www.circuittest.com/ have
a variety of power supplies, and you could compare a linear
adapter with a switching adapter and see if you tolerate
one type better than the other. You may need to find a
plug adapter if the plug on their adapters doesn't match
the plug on your equipment, but this is also fairly
simple. I recently bought an alternative AC/DC adapter,
not because of ES, but because I didn't like how hot
the supplied adapter was getting.

I don't have any experience with kiwi or mango's effects on
my ES, but I have noted in the past that food choices can
definitely make a difference. For example, I've found that
eating an orange made my ES worse, however eating a banana
made my ES better. I've also found that avocados and prunes are
helpful. Certainly this could be due to their mineral
or antioxidant content, or perhaps it's due to something
entirely different?

Our adapters get hot as well. I assumed that was normal, but maybe
they shouldn't heat up so much. When I plug the speakers into a multi
plug socket, the speakers adapter plug gets hot even when the
speakers aren't on.

of course when these supplies heat up who knows what manner of chemicals
gass off in your vicinity. I have just tried using my laptop on battery
outside, and was uplifted by the results, I was still aware of the emfs butnot to
the same extent as when used indoors. I guess there is less overlay of emfs,
refelections etc etc outside if you are lucky. That is why I am toying with
the idea of getting a timber building to site down the end of my garden I am
confident that I would see an improvemnet in the computer use there with only
a temporary elec supply cable to the cabin and nothing else. I would not
rush out and treat the cabin by the way with presevatives etc,,, Its a gamble
at £1500 but it may enable me to get back to a lvel of productivity suitable
to earn a basic living.

i found something that works on the computer monitor i put a piece of
smoky quartz it seems to bring the EMF field measure down to almost
nothing. Just have to get out and buy some kind of extension cord or a
new AC adapter to the modem now I know it is the worse in the room
still. I did try something else someone said in all 4 corners put
lepidiolyte and tourmaline quartz and it seems to help alot in the
room. Before when you walked in the room the air was stuffy and felt
dark in the room but since i did put those pieces in the corners the
room has a good smell and lighter feel in the room. NOw if i can fix
the AC adapter maybe this room will be comfortable.

Dear Seshmet,

This is very interesting. Can you give more details about this?
What size smokey quartz?
Where did you put it?
Was the gauss meter at the same location before and after smokey quartz?

I found an intresting use for the Microalert meter by placing one hand on
the box and say placing both at the usb conector then take your other arm/hand
and place this in proximity to the lcd screen at high ef point and the box
goes of, i tried this with my wife in the loop and touched her foot with my hand
and the box goes off again - point is this is not some weird sex game but
shows how we radily conduct the emissions from the laptops etc - Those elctrons
are hungry for earth or the next best thing - you and me - I guess that even
when we are not directly toching the pc we are pulling in the electrons
etc.... a worrying development for me is stinging hand and arm(specific place
near elbow) when using mouse, plus any part of my body near say a cable coming
from the laptop does the same. I have said this before that I also have an
area of inflamed hair follicles on the top surface of my thighs, having
checked the underside of the desk below the keyboard with an am radio which
buzzes violently, the penny drops for me ie legs under keyboard for many hours
over many years, lets not evan g to the nether regions although its al
functioning ok there so far apart from the cyst !!!

Be aware that those quartzes are crystals.
They do work, but only for a limited period.
They suck up anything, and when they are done, they start emitting that.
