Utiility Meter Options

KathyB

My doc. wrote a letter that I have ES & it's medically necessary to remove wireless meters.

What's the best way to go IF can't  use analog alone? One utility is removing soon. Working on the others. I can't wait! I'm pretty sensitive. I'm praying it will make a big difference.

Fixing electric issues will help too.

Kathy, wow! you got your utilities to remove smartmeters?? that is fantastic -- where are you? Here in California, that never happens, at least not anymore.

Analog is best by far. It will make a huge difference.

If they just say they will "switch off the transmitter' that is another ball of wax, and we learned not to trust anything they say.  Plus there could be other things about the meter besides the transmitter that cause problems.

Thanks, I'll remember we want the meter's off. My doc. helped the fight w the letter. I'm in MO.We have  1st generation smart meters for electric. We were the test state I guess.

Didn't notice it until owned a house w dirty electric. Started burning in 06 though. Thought was all cell towers.

Much of the controversy has focused on the new digital meters.

For now, the new meters aren't in Ameren Missouri's plans. The
cost of smart meters — an estimated $300 million — outweighs the
benefits, said David Wakeman, the utility's vice president of
energy delivery.

That's partly because it was among the first U.S. utilities to
deploy automated meters across its entire system in the late-1990s.
The meters aren't as sophisticated as the smart meters but provide
some of the functionality — they can relay daily usage information
and notify the utility when there's a power outage.

All of you please try to get a doctor's letter stating you have developed  ES & it's a medically necessary to remove the meters.

They did not listen to me until the letter.  Theyr'e trying to intimidate you so you'll back down fighting.

Now they're on guard & waiting to here from their meter people.

Kathy

So, now you have understood.

All those protest's do not have an impact untill you do show a doctor's attest that you are electrosensitive.

The biggest problem is to find a doctor who is willing to undersign such a letter.
