Charles, not too long ago, you were excited about the early results
your wife was getting at reducing her ES symptoms by using an ionic footbath. Now that some more time has passed, I'm wondering if things have continued to improve, have leveled off, or have reverted back to the way they were in the first place? Marc |

Just got the new Heartland America catalog. They still have those Bio-
Energy Detox Foot Spa for sale for $299 for anyone interested. Online look under their personal care section. ~ Snoshoe --- In [hidden email], "alstrup" <alstrup@...> wrote: > > Check out the article "Dodgy Detox" at > > http://www.raygirvan.co.uk/apoth/2004_05_01_arc.html > |

Interesting article. There will always be skeptics who won't look
past the surface though. The same was mentioned in earlier posts, that yes the electrodes do color the water some. Body is electric, pores do open, toxins do come out in sweat. That just expedites it. However, people taking the IR sauna baths wrapped up in white towels come out with them with the same kind of brown gunk on them. Indians used sweat lodges for ages too, and not because they didn't work. One item off topic I've found that's popular now and very bogus is the "ear candles". If it feels better afterwards, (from the warmth) you could get the same effect with a hot water bottle and damp wash cloth. All the junk that is in the candle at the end, supposedly came out your little ear canal, will show up just as much, if you follow the same instructions holding it in your hand instead. It's the junk they cover the candle in that melts down there.... and yet people really think they could still hear and not know they had all that stuff in their ear??? ~ Snoshoe --- In [hidden email], "alstrup" <alstrup@...> wrote: > > Check out the article "Dodgy Detox" at > > http://www.raygirvan.co.uk/apoth/2004_05_01_arc.html |

Sure they do.
But there is a difference in quality. They only make positive ions, not positive as well as negative ions. The quality of the metal plates (electrodes). Sure there is a lot of brown stuff. It comes from normal tapwater, about 20-40 %. Therefore we use distilled water. I did a test with only distilled water, with some salt added (in order to obtain the right Amps), and there was no brown stuff. So all those different colors (for each person different) come from the feet. It is well known, that toxins do leave the body by the feet. Therefore, taking a hot foot bath, with some soda in it may take some toxins out also. It is also known, that urine acid may leave the body through the legs and feet. If e person had trouble by climbing stairs, and has pain in the knees, it may be, that the urin acid stays there. There are homeopathic drugs to help that. In the Bible, foot washing is mentioned several times. They were no fools at that time. They knew what they were talking about. At that time, there were no ionic foot spas of course! I was initially sceptical (some months ago) that substances could pass
through the skin. However, Sue was advised by the hospital to take Epsom salts baths (magnesium sulphate) to try to correct her low inorganic sulphate levels. This worked - too well initially, as she got severe liver detox symptoms! So it is possible for molecules to pass through the skin, though they probably have to be water-soluble (and there might be a size limit on large organic molecules?) Hey snowbunny, We like earcandles!! Have only tried two candles, and did it by myself. think a series could help. And yes hot oil treatments help as well. Even the gue is just etheric, whatever is bugging my ears is not real in that sense either, and the olden Egyptians must have known something same way as the sweatlodgers,.Maybe it can pull out some of the stuff that i put in my ears to straigthen them ouut. (still squeeck, those ears them) What i do not get is the many articles against earcandling. You gotta go through 20 before you can find an instruction. All they say is they do not work or the gue is not gue from the ear..Why so much trouble, write about something you do think works then.. Oh yeah one article had hair on fire or something, jeez. Once two of my friends looked so bright-eyed. I thought the must had just had some fabulous sex, but they said they just had their ears candled. Bright eyes. Good sign. The working is spiritual. Even used just for fun, because i think they can only be sold like that now, they can make for a cheap enough pass-time.. Wish we could get them in this neck of the woods, the enthousiasm for making them has yet to grow (knowing me, ohh) Love snoshoe_2 <[hidden email]> wrote: All the junk that is in the candle at the end, supposedly came out your little ear canal, will show up just as much, if you follow the same instructions holding it in your hand instead. Yes, just think of the all the dermal patches to deliver meds now.--
Or the LSD tests from decades ago on the doorknobs. There is a size limit to entering the skin, but I don't recall it. Read years back when I did Neways. They talked about it in their skin care videos. ~ Snoshoe --- In [hidden email], "Ian Kemp" <ianandsue.kemp@...> wrote: > > I was initially sceptical (some months ago) that substances could pass > through the skin. Lol Perla, :)
If you like ear candles, by all means use them. It's the warmth that makes them feel good. Perhaps if any of the smoke makes it in there too, like using tobacco smoke gently blown into an ear to relieve an earache. The stuff that's in it when done though, that will be there even if you hold it in your hand, or just poke it through something to hold in a cup and don't touch it at all! -The cloth is coated with goat's milk and don't recall what all to slowly melt down as it burns. Yes, gotta be careful about burning yourself/hair with it. I recall you are suppose to use a paper plate or foil pie pan with a small hole cut in it, to stick it part way through to protect the side of your face from accidents. That and lay down till it's done. :) ~ Snoshoe --- In [hidden email], perla1133 <perla1133@...> wrote: > > > Hey snowbunny, > > We like earcandles!! > > Have only tried two candles, and did it by myself. think a series could help. Oh Snow,
You should no better then to point a quitter to new uses to tobacco smoke.. Someone actually suggested sticking a sigarette in the ear would have the same effect.. Now only to find where he has hidden them and then see where i stick it!! Half-ass luke-warm turkey i guess again..). Be glad you are not around me these days//... Love (PS.
