wow, it's been a while. At the beginning of the year I started a gluten-free/casein-free diet and within about four days my core felt so much stronger and healthier and my electrical sensitivity noticeably dropped I'd say about 15-20%! It hasn't stayed at that strong level, though, been gradually tapering off over the months. I finally put two and two together and realized that one of my other major weak points that I can physically notice is my thymus gland. Doing the research, it looks like this might be the big problem after all in my case (or at least one of them): bad allergies, a history of getting sick all the time, weakened by constant use of corticosteroids (asthma inhalers since I was four years old, and I do feel weaker anymore after I take said medication), etc. I could have melted into the floor - this is me!
Of course, this brings up the main concern going after this angle - I'd have to stop taking my asthma medication (the supplements don't work or could give bad reactions in the presence of any steroids). I don't have the athletic type that just flares up for no apparent reason (thank goodness) but it is allergy based and I have ongoing low-grade inflammation. I've sort of tried the 'tapping' thing and got the response of 'hey, I'm dead exhausted, gimme a break!' Yep, kinda what I thought. This is hard but I know that it gets better when I'm able to quit pretty much any meds (notably better literally overnight after dropping the anti-anxiety drug). Has anybody else experimented with this? I'll be trying turmeric and ginger and maybe a couple other things to bring down the inflammation naturally before attempting to drop the inhaler and getting on the thymus pills. Hope whoever's left here is doing okay (livable, whatnot) -April |
With a*Brains Machine* you can treat your thymus, etc. yourself.
Plus that you can make homeopathic medicine yourself. You can place a certain disease in reverse mode in water. Or you can choose from a very large library of alopathic, homeopathic, Bach flowers, etc. remedies. We have obtained very good results. You may just need some adrenal support... glandular pills, either with or without hormones.
I've taken thymus pills over the years, but it was never clear to me that they helped. Adrenal pills do though. Also, for allergies, I've found the black cumin seed oil is kind of a miracle supplement for me. Although if I take too much, I'll get headaches -- I suspect it's mobilizing some of my excess heavy metals. Marc |

What adrenal supplements and black seed oil do you take, Marc? I went to Vitamin Cottage yesterday and was having a hard time finding something basic for the glandulars that doesn't contain a bunch of herbs that I may or may not be allergic to (although I think I've decided on the sheep thymus supplement). And the only black seed oil I've found in the real world is a liquid but there are pills online.
Tried the turmeric and a bunch of other antioxidants and basically all they did was give me a bunch of lung gick and made it hard to breathe. Out of desperation I tried NAC a couple months ago and not only did it do that and make me really fatigued, I sort of became this trippy Pollyanna-ish Florence Nightingale for an entire day! Nobody mentions that as a possible side effect! I have to wonder, though, if it's really me or if these things are reacting to the medication I'm on as well. One other thing that seems to hold promise is the spices in chai - the real kind. Stumbled onto this nearly by accident: got the Visidi Chai from Adagio Teas for geeky reasons and, lo and behold, the sensitivity dropped markedly and stayed that way for about six hours! I'm caffeine sensitive, though, so I can't have it more than once a week. I've been trying to replicate this on my own and haven't had much luck so far but I suspect it has to do with ingesting the spices themselves because if I get the kick it's from the dregs at the end of the cup. If anybody can stand caffeine, try this! It's supposed to be good for all biotypes. |

Yes, I tend to buy things online... so for adrenals, there's Standard Process Drenatrophin PMG (no hormones) Standard Process Adrenal Desicated (with hormones) "Dr Wilson's Adrenal Rebuilder" (no hormones), Nutri-Meds Dessicated Whole Adrenal Glandular (with hormones) Or if you're avoiding consuming animal extracts, then I guess there are herbals for that... ginseng, licorice, maybe ashwaganda... For Black Seed Oil, I buy Amazing Herbs Black Seed in Amazon.com (they have liquid or gelcaps), but I don't have enough longterm experience with this to say if there is something better... Narc |
