I have recently built a well shielded 30 by 48 ft office/lab/hideaway
from my wife's piano lessons in the little mining town of Rockvale,
Colorado (about 50 miles SW of Colorado Springs). Those thinking about a
move to the High Desert, or just wanting to spend a few days in
Colorado, are welcome to sleep in the building for up to a week to see
if the building technology and the climate agree with them. There is no
charge. I don't want to attempt getting licenses and permits. The
building is climate controlled, but otherwise things are a bit primitive
(sleeping bags, air mattresses, flush toilet and shower in the adjacent
house). Check out my website www.emsri.org for pictures, directions,
contact details, and more information about the building. Those who are
able to stay a few days and who feel they have received something of
value are welcome to make a donation toward expenses when they leave.
