Smart Meter Dirty Electricity

Jim
I have seen a number of references to this.  Does dirty electricity produced by smart meters refer to the high frequency harmonics which they inject into our A/C wiring?  If so, wouldn't the Stetzer filters take care of this?  How about the Quantum device which Marc has been using?

Thanks,

Jim

Yes, "dirty electricity" is indeed the high frequencies added to the
power lines.  And yes, things like the Stetzer filters can help,
although I think we see more people complaining that they don't
help their symptoms or make them worse.  As for the Quantum
Products items, I don't think these lessen the readings on
the meter, but it does make some people (like me) feel better.

I don't think the Steizer-filters work on those RF frequencies....something tells me that although dirty electricity is piggybacked onto the house's wiring system from smart meters, the combination RF plus dirty electricity, if measured with maybe an oscilliscope or another meter, may show a host of different frequencies, as compared tothe "normal" dirty electricity already present on the wiring system. It is also of vital importance that anyone who does choose to use the Steizers, your wiring must be properly wired and grounded! Otherwise, the steizers WILL make the problemworse, instead of better. And when I say properly wired and grounded, I mean every outlet, every lightswitch, whole house ceiling fan switches, exhaust fan switches, ect. I'm going to throw in here, that the normal doorbells commonly used, emit  constant emfs as well. Although not as loud, I disconnected mine and installed an old fashionedbell ringer. Manual, no ele required, therefore no emfs. (lessemf sells a manual doorbell.)Lizzie

You might be right -- the Stetzer filters are only supposed to
filter up to 100khz, and Smart Meters operate around 900Mhz...

Yes, very good info. I thought as much. In the case of ES, it probably depends upon whichfrequencies create issues for that individual.Lizzie

Use these... (where "High Frequency" = 300MHz to 2gHz) -

Google: - Ferrite EMI Cores for Cables and Wiring "High Frequency"

In our area,  the Smart meter data is transmitted through the air at some frequency around, say 1 GHz. I don't have a frequency counter yet, but I'm planning to get one.  Maybe some of this ends up in your wiring but I think the real dirty electricity problem comes from the unfiltered switched mode power supply in the meter. Dave Stetzer was interviewed and said his filters should take care of the primary harmonics  from the voltage step down, and when you did that, the secondary ones in the MHz range would be filtered out, too.  There are some who have supposedly tested this and shown the filters to be ineffective.  This is all pretty confusing, and I see now why there is no definitive answer.  Also, I know there are different kinds of smart meters out there.

BTW, I've had my house Stetzerized for over 5 years.  I recently removed all the Stetzer filters as an experiment and felt worse.  I reinstalled them and felt better again.  I know this could be different for other people.  These filters do emit some EMF themselves, so I have made sure to strategically place them away from where anyone would stand or sit.

Maybe if the Stetzer filters don't do the job completely, then why couldn't you add a bunch of these with the help of an electrician at the breaker box?

Jim,

Did you have any electrical issues to fix before you put the Stetzerizer's on?

Would these filters be a mistake if you have aluminum wiring?

Jim,

I don't know if they'd work for smart meter  smog. I was at a doc. who had them in a newer building &  I still felt the RF.

It wasn't as bad as some, but I still felt it.

Re: Smart Meter Dirty Electricity

Kathy,

There are 2 separate issues:  the RF in the air produced by a radio frequency transmitter and the dirty electricity produced by electronic devices which is injected into the A/C wiring in the walls of a building.  The Stetzer filters only address the dirty electricity in the walls. A commercial building would need a lot of filters and probably wouldn't address the dirty electricity contributed by other tenants. There would be other issues in a doctor's office, such as wiring problems, non-incandescent lighting, and the electromagnetic fields that are produced by medical equipment.

Kathy,

Our wiring is good as far as I know.
I'd call Stetzer Electric and ask them.

Re: Smart Meter Dirty Electricity

Didn't you say that you had a light switch that was energized? It was a light switch you said you never used, because you knewit was badly wired? I strongly suggest that anyone who decides to invest in the Steizer filtersmake dang sure all wiring is properly grounded before using those filters. It even states this in the steizer information sheet! Otherwise, you riskmaking a bad situation worse! LIzzie
