This question was posted before, and posting again in the hope that somebody can help. For the last two days, worse today, atrial fibrilation, SVTs and other arrythmias, accompanied by severe unsatieted hunger pangs. Eating lamb used to help, no longer. Not deficient in Vit B12. Folic Acid level is very low. Iodine deficient. Blood sugar level is normal. I am hypothyroid, and can't tolerate meds. Those symptoms usually manifest with those hyperthyroid. I tried multi vitamins, eating kombu, multi minerals, not much help. I am just trying a little kelp since I am deficient in iodine, not that helpful either! Input much appreciated, Kookie |
Hi Kookie, You said you've tried meds for Hypo-thyroid, were these prescription meds? It is very common for boththe thyroid AND the adrenal glands to be effected, in today'shighly toxic world. ONe can think of the Thyroid and Adrenalglands as the engine and the transmission of a car. They are"that" important! And they work together, so if one is not workingwell, the other won't work well either. Just like the engine and trans in a car. Often times, supporting the adrenals BEFOREusing Thyroid support works like a charm. The adrenalsmake the hormones that allow the body to USE thethryoid support. Extreme hunger in m experience, is usuallydescribed in regular medicine (mainstream medicine) as hypoglycemic..blood sugar dropping. If you get dizzy standing up too fast, or experience severe hungerafter strong wifi/radiation exposures, this can be the radiation causingthe blood sugar to drop. NOw, what to do? I have had great success with a multi protocal. The first is taking natural adrenal supports, in the form of: raw glandulars, adrenal cortex to be exact. www.nutri-meds.comAdrenal Cortex. With this, I also takethe capsule herb: Holy Tulsi Basil. www.organicindia.com or Swanson.com also carries this brand. Holy Basil helps to regulate theblood sugar levels. You could try supporting the adrenals, with theabove supplements, then after 4-5 days, trying the natural ThyroidHelper from: www.wellnessresources.comThe extreme hunger is often a symptom created by both the thyroidand adrenal glands being way, over stressed. To the end of the stressspectrum, it would show as HIGH cortisol levels, and cortisol is madethe adrenals, in reaction to being severely stressed. What I have suggested are all things I have tried. As to other productsmade by other companies? From the feedback I get, these never seemto work for people I know, who've tried the cheaper brands. So I onlywill suggest those products I have both, used myself with success, andhave positve feedback from others I know, who have tried them. The adrenal Cortex is a bit pricey, but to me, it is solid GOLD. I have friendswho have tried cheaper forms, some of them actually costing the same, but withno success at all. You can google the Barnes Basal Temperature Test and this will provide a wayfor you to check your own thyroid, at home, without a blood test. It has beenused for decades with accurate success. But as most of us in the natural healing worldhave come to realize, blood tests are money makers. And they keep changingthe numbers on these tests, so that the results are skewed. Taking your temp3-4 times a day, and finding it lower, is also an accurate method to show how the adrenals are doing. I have found with high cortisol levels, the body's temps tend to drop during the day. And with supporting both glands, the temps were raised and tended to stay more consistent and the extreme hunger abated, and many other symptomsimproved, as well. The above are my suggestions, based upon my opinions and my experiences over the past 6 years. As with many ESsers, often taking any supplements in very low doses seems to work better for these people. Some find openng the capsule and only taking half works well for them. But the order is of great importance. This is why I suggest trying the adrenal support FIRST, before adding in the Thryoid help. P.S. I forgot, I don't recommend prescription meds due to the fact that many, if not most of theseare made from toxic ingredients, such as Fluoride, and Petro chemicals. To me, adding something toxic to an already over loaded/over stressed bodyjust doesn't make good sense. As to Iodine, nascent Iodine from www.magnascent.com is a form of Iodinethat is easily absorbed by the body and Thryoid. And this can also be useddirectly on the skin. Strange as this may sound- A drop in the belly button also works quite well for many. Iodine is one of those minerals tht needs to be taken in very low doses in the beginning, and then, graduallyslowly, increasing the dose. 2 drops in water for 5 days, then seeing how you do. Or used on the skin, which bypasses the Liver, and goes directly into the cells. Head aches can occur with thismineral, because Iodine is: anti fungal, anti parasitic, anti bacterial. It is killing the bad guys..and this can occurat too fast of a rate for the body to handle. Hence, the starting with very low doses- diluted with water.Lizzie To: [hidden email] From: [hidden email] Date: Wed, 4 Apr 2012 18:09:31 +0000 Subject: [eSens] Severe Hunger pangs + Arrythmias This question was posted before, and posting again in the hope that somebody can help. Also, the Thyroid controls the heart, so thryoid support can help with thearrythimias. Magnesium is also good for heart issues. I prefer the Magnesium Chloride OIl from: www.ancient-minerals.comThis is sold in a liquid form that can be added to a bath, or bath salts. In a pinch, pure essential Lavender Oil, www.youngliving.com (this isthe only brand I use, that I have found success with- others may useother brands, the only caveat is the Lavender Oil is pure, and there areno toxic additives in the product.) a drop directly on the heartis also good for these heart issues, although I use only as a quick fix, a band aide. Treating the root of the cause, by supporting the thyroidand the body with the needed minerals is always my first priority. Hi Lizzie: Thanks for the comprehensive reply. I tried all you mentioned, including the nutri prods. It worked well for a while, then I developed an allergy to the prods. And crashed... I was prescribed thyroxine, tried a tiny crumb from the 25 mg tab ended in hospital with arrythmias. No more, same with Armor. Will try homeopathy next for hypothyroidism and Ayurvedic meds for this, both will take time to resolve, if they work. They do for some. Will for home saliva cortisol tests on line. My cortisol is low in the morning (blood test confirmed this). I may have done 24 hour saliva cortisol test about three or four years ago, and that was normal then. Will try again, your suggestions, I am sure the answer to this problem is simple and could be resolved. fnx, again. Hi, Did you do the Adrenal support FIRST? Because what happens commonly is this: A person takes a thyroid product, be it prescription or natural. The person experiences heart problems, feeling incredibly YUCKY..nervous energy, can't sleep, basically, the wrong KIND of energy. The cause is this: the Adrenals make the hormones that the thryoidNEEDS to USE/Metabolize the thryoid meds. If the adrenals aren't makingenough of these hormones, when the person tries takign the Thryoid stuff, this builds UP in the body, and thus, the heart problems, the thryoid hormonesaren't being used, and this results in an almost toxic feeling because of thesethyroid hormones building UP in the blood stream. THIs is WHY the ORDER is so important! And this is why in these cases, takingthe Adrenal support FIRST for 4-5 days makes a huge difference. Because now,the person's adrenals have the raw materials/hormones NEEDED for the bodyto USE/take up/ absorb the Thryoid support/meds/supplements. The Thyroid and Adrenal glands WORK together. IF one goes down, the other onejumps in to help. IF whatever is causing this stress on these glands is continuous, after a period of time, they will both GO down. because without adequate support, they simply run out of energy, like a battery that wears out. And the Adrenal glandsare often described as being the body's battery. Prescription meds- you can check htis out, often contain Petroleum based chemicalsand Fluoride. Both of these are neuro toxins. Which is why I stay away from them.Slow heartbeat, slow pulse equals low thyroid and low adrenals. Unless one is takingThyroid support without adequate adrenal support, in which case, the symptoms you' described are common. The process of the thyroid not being able to metabolize the Armour is the same, the bodydoesn't have enough adrenal hormones to USE the thryoid hormones. **Below are the ingredients for Thyroxine- with following explanation of why Aluminum Lake ingredients are toxic.Lizzie Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets, USPInactive IngredientsColloidal silicon dioxide, lactose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, acacia and sodium starch glycolate. Yes, I was thinking the same thing too -- an adverse reaction to the tiniest amount of thyroid support sounds like an adrenal problem... Marc |

Joyce, It can be any Thyroid meds, natural or prescription - although as pointed out below, prescript does contain toxic chemicals-Most Dr's don't know the connection between the Adrenals and Thyroid. Could be too of a dose, could be LACK of Adrenal hormes. Most likely,, it is the thyroid meds not being used by the body.- due to lack of Adrnal hormones. Which translates to looking on blood test like too much thyroid...with real culprit being NOT enuf adrenal hormones.Lizzie To: [hidden email] From: [hidden email] Date: Thu, 5 Apr 2012 11:12:50 -0700 Subject: Re: [eSens] Re: Severe Hunger pangs + Arrythmias Are you talking about Levoxyl? Joyce, And if you have something setting off new stress- like smart meters, this could be triggering the adrenals to go into severe distress, which means they are not able to make enuf adrenal hormones - which rmemebr, it is the adrenals that make the hormones that USE the thyroid hormones.Lizzie To: [hidden email] From: [hidden email] Date: Thu, 5 Apr 2012 11:12:50 -0700 Subject: Re: [eSens] Re: Severe Hunger pangs + Arrythmias Are you talking about Levoxyl? WellsAluminum Lake food coloring, used to heavily coat liquid medicines for children, contains dangerous amounts of aluminum and harmful synthetic petrochemicals. These “petrochemicals” are carcinogens containing petroleum, antifreeze and ammonia, which cause a long list of adverse reactions. Aluminum poisoning can lead to short and long term central nervous system (CNS) damage, such as memory impairments, autism, epilepsy, mental retardation, and dementiaTo: [hidden email] From: [hidden email] Date: Thu, 5 Apr 2012 12:49:46 +0000 Subject: [eSens] Re: Severe Hunger pangs + Arrythmias Hi Lizzie: Thanks for the comprehensive reply. Will try again, your suggestions, I am sure the answer to this problem is simple and could be resolved. fnx, again. Hi,
I haven't been able to read through all these, if it's been mentioned, but you might see if you've acquired giardia. That will cause severe hunger pangs even shortly after eating, like your digestion is on high. You may or may not have other symptoms with it. ~ Snoshoe --- In [hidden email], Elizabeth thode <lizt777@...> wrote: > > > Hi, Did you do the Adrenal support FIRST?
