In parts of the east coast damaged by hurricane Sandy, Verizon is not rebuilding the wired telephone network. They are going all wireless.

Bluetooth

C.a.b. Johnson
I have an iPod Classic and I wanted to get a portable speaker for travel.  My options for good sound were limited to devices that were called Bluetooth speakers that also allow you to sync with cell phones and computes to hear voices thru the speaker.

Well, there is no manual and no info about these devices to say if the Bluetooth is only enabled when you Sync with a wireless device.  Against my better judgement I made a rash decision and got the JBL Flip Wireless Stereo Speaker that looks like a sausage.  The IPod Classic  plugs into it via a standard jack and I am assuming that since Bluetooth only receives signals, but does not transmit anything, that as long as I am just using the iPod through the plug in, that I am not activating any wireless frequencies.  However, I do not know how these devices work.  I measured it with my Acoustimeter and did not get anything from it when it was on.  It has a NIckel Cad battery that has to be charged up.  After I turn off the iPod, the light on the speakers keeps flashing for an hour.  Is it seeking a wireless device?

Anybody know if these Bluetooth devices are a no no for Electrosensitives?  I have 13 days to return the item if necessary.

While standing next to all the display models of Bluetooth Capable Speakers at Best Buy,  I had a really bad reaction like I was being stabbed in the stomach.  I normally only get that reaction to wireless, but there was a lot of stuff that was plugged in there that may have given off high EMF.

I keep telling folk-- what's coming down is exacerbating.  People kind of poo pooed the new Comcast wireless modems which feel way more dangerous than the current Verizon routers a few years ago.

Plus, I had a friend tell me basically the same thing that Comcast was now putting wireless antennas on utility poles to go directly into the home.  So there you have it- lock and seal- inside and out- whether you want it or not, whether its good for you or not.

Remember they haven't even begun promoting the white spaces, I think that's in 2015.  4G LTE hasn't hit my state just yet, nor Smart meters.  Welcome to our happy microwave grid forever more.  Put a buzz in your craw, don't it-- a little burn?  Kind of like my week...help's gotta be on the way!  Keep breathing and loving!

Have an inspired week!

Pam

I think one of the saddest things to this story is that NONE of this stuff is being monitored, gauged or regulated.  It is literally the "lead pipes" of our time.  How stupid could people who believe themselves to be so "advanced" be.  It's no wonder the world has had to be destroyed many times and begun again.

In Buddhism, it is said that GREED, ANGER and STUPIDITY are the 3 POISONS which destroy the happiness of individuals and societies.  What has changed, anything?

Yes, all indications are ever
increasing microwave radiation in our environment. My hope is that rural and remote areas will remain low RF, but it should still be less than
living in cities and tied to the grid.

Well said Pam!  Keep breathing and loving!  It's like one of my favorite
lines, in one of my favorite movies, Resurrection, with Ellen Burstyn... "If life don't hand you nothing but lemons, you just make you a bunch
of lemonade!"  :-)

So true Pam, and history keeps repeating itself... When will we learn?  Hmmmm....

Reminds me of the adage... Money is the root of all evil.  I think
deeper than that, it's more about learning about power vs love. Money
tempts our sense of power, but if balanced with love, money can work for
 us rather than against us.

Yes, but there are ways to live in the world but not of it... We can network with others, barter, build community, become more self sufficient and self aware, etc. I may not be able to change the game, but I don't have to play it as often. I can lessen it's impact, just like ES!

Re: Replacing copper with wireless

Patricia
not to get really heavy, tim, but i agree
with lizzie.  the point is not just that we
can use a different system to make
exchange happen, but that those who
accrue the most money also then can
buy people to do things not only that
the 'rich' do not care to do for themselves,
such as cook or drive or whatever, but
they can also buy people to go to war,
to make laws that benefit those who do
play the game well.  they can afford to
buy entire govts to do their bidding.
that is the situation right now in the US.
the govt does not do what the american
people really want it to do… it does what
the 'owners' of the 'biggest piles' want
it to do.  real people don't want to go to
war.  real people don't want chemtrails
and EMFs and fluoride and GMOs.  real
people want to enjoy life, have families,
be happy, creative, make a contribution
to the quality of life on the planet, etc.
they want to simply have a home and
not have to move over and over again.
the people with the biggest piles want
simply to increase their piles - with oil,
gold, silver, slavery, human tissue
trafficking, bogus medicine, matters of
law, whatever can make money for
them… and many of their goals are not
conducive to the continuation of life.
when they finally catch on that they
are cutting of the very branch they are
sitting on, perhaps it will end.  i think it
will take a 'scrooge moment' for them
to turn around.  otherwise, they have it
in their mind that they need to amass
the biggest fortune - or they will surely
die.  that is the real problem with greed -
it goes for riches for a few, rather than
quality of life for all.  this is opposed to
universal laws, so something will give
sooner or later.

so i agree 100% that the real problem
is that the game is all about control…
and control by people who aren't
necessarily loving or kind or wise or
very evolved… for if they truly were
evolved, 'enlightened', then they would
never want to harm anyone.

love, patricia

Re: Bluetooth

In reply to this post by PUK
The old school iPod Classic 160 GB is different than the iPod Touch.  The iPod Classic does not have any wireless capability that is why I got it.  It is just basic - you charge up the battery and go.  The iPod Touch has a large display touch screen and Syncs with iCloud and wireless devices to download apps and access other wireless networks and phones and who knows what else - WiFi, etc.

Get your iPod Classic while they last, they may be discontinued.  The only thing you have to worry about with the IPod Classic is exposure to the battery and EMF's that might be generated by having the earbuds on if you are sensitive to those frequencies, if any frequencies are being generated.

better judgement I made  a rash decision and got the JBL Flip Wireless Stereo

Speaker that looks like a  sausage.  The IPod Classic  plugs into it via a

standard jack and I  am assuming that since Bluetooth only receives signals,

but does not transmit  anything, that as long as I am just using the iPod

through the plug in, that I  am not activating any wireless frequencies.

However, I do not know how  these devices work.  I measured it with my

Acoustimeter and did not get  anything from it when it was on.  It has a NIckel Cad

battery that has to  be charged up.  After I turn off the iPod, the light on

the speakers  keeps flashing for an hour.  Is it seeking a wireless  device?

Anybody know if these Bluetooth devices are a no no for  Electrosensitives?

I have 13 days to return the item if  necessary.

While standing next to all the display models of Bluetooth  Capable

Speakers at Best Buy,  I had a really bad reaction like I was  being stabbed in the

stomach.  I normally only get that reaction to  wireless, but there was a

lot of stuff that was plugged in there that may have  given off high EMF.

Yes, it is a heavy subject Patricia, and I'm trying my best to lighten my load. :-)  I agree. My point is that we have the awareness of how we are being manipulated, but we also have the power and free will to not participate as we choose!  In other words, we can choose enlightenment regardless if anyone else does or not. It's starts within us, in the choices that we make, and then it expands outward as we interact with others...

It's the same with ES. We choose not to participate in technology that harms us, and as we interact with our friends and families, that understanding can begin to change attitudes and awareness.  :-)

not to get really heavy, tim, but i agree
with lizzie.  the point is not just that we
can use a different system to make
exchange happen, but that those who
accrue the most money also then can
buy people to do things not only that
the 'rich' do not care to do for themselves,
such as cook or drive or whatever, but
they can also buy people to go to war,
to make laws that benefit those who do
play the game well.  they can afford to
buy entire govts to do their bidding.
that is the situation right now in the US.
the govt does not do what the american
people really want it to do… it does what
the 'owners' of the 'biggest piles' want
it to do.  real people don't want to go to
war.  real people don't want chemtrails
and EMFs and fluoride and GMOs.  real
people want to enjoy life, have families,
be happy, creative, make a contribution
to the quality of life on the planet, etc.
they want to simply have a home and
not have to move over and over again.
the people with the biggest piles want
simply to increase their piles - with oil,
gold, silver, slavery, human tissue
trafficking, bogus medicine, matters of
law, whatever can make money for
them… and many of their goals are not
conducive to the continuation of life.
when they finally catch on that they
are cutting of the very branch they are
sitting on, perhaps it will end.  i think it
will take a 'scrooge moment' for them
to turn around.  otherwise, they have it
in their mind that they need to amass
the biggest fortune - or they will surely
die.  that is the real problem with greed -
it goes for riches for a few, rather than
quality of life for all.  this is opposed to
universal laws, so something will give
sooner or later.

so i agree 100% that the real problem
is that the game is all about control…
and control by people who aren't
necessarily loving or kind or wise or
very evolved… for if they truly were
evolved, 'enlightened', then they would
never want to harm anyone.
