Refrigerator

Tryingtoheal

Hi,

A while back I wrote about a noisy refrigerator.   We argued w the company, so they finally refunded it.

I read about Linear compressors running very quite.  LG  & Sears Elite uses Linear compressors.

We  bought an LG French Door model w/o the water in the door. We like more storage space. It is so quiet, you can hardly hear it running.  They must have shielded it some or the Linear compressor shields because it  is run with magnets.   We only measure .o5 MGaus same as earth.

Also, there are no extra RF readings around the fridge I think the company's have skipped putting a wifi device in the stripped down models.

I love my new fridge. Anyone needing please buy an LG or Sears Elite.

Kathy,

Thank you so much for sharing.  That is really good to hear.

Did you take Gauss readings in the back, sides  and bottom?  What meter did you use to measure RF?

Re: Refrigerator

I have a Coronet ED78S. Meaures mG & RF It's not the best, but gives me  a good idea of what is going on.

The front of the fridge is .05, the front of the sides are both .o5. The right lower area measures 1. & in a small area goes to 4 mG.
I can't measure the left lower side, as it's up against our counter.
