My Letter is following, you ca also read it in my blog: http://ehsfighback.blogspot.com/
A letter to Dr. Brundtland From an EHS Who Gets Injured By Her Cell Phone Use I read Prof. Havas's account of your presentation in Waterloo. I was astounded to discover that you, of all people, are using a cell phone, even after declaring that you suffer from EHS. Prof. Havas article ends in a quotation by Gandhi, however, considering your cell phone use, another Gandhi quotation came to mind, one which apparently you don't exercise, "Be The Change You Want To See In The World". Recently, Mike Repacholi idiotically claimed that your declaration regarding your adverse health effects from cell phones caused millions to imagine migraines. I did not start to `imagine' my EHS headaches and other life threatening symptoms because of your statement. When I got EHS I was unaware of your situation. But when I did hear about it, I could not understand how it could be that you would take no action to help people like me, or actually like us, although people begged you to do so. But not only you are not helping us, you are actually harming us. Despite being one of the only people with EHS who is in a position to help, you of all people, stood in Waterloo and legitimized cell phone use by using it yourself in the middle of your speech. And worse, your use of cell phone wherever you go causes pain and harm to people like us. Your actions prevent people like us from being able to go anywhere. Your cell phone use requires antennas everywhere and as a result people like us cannot live, work, or move about. We can't even go to a doctor or a hospital. We can't even go to court to demand basic human rights, including the right to life and health that are continuously being assaulted. Because of your cell phone use, and because of your silence and inaction, millions are losing their lives, I am one of them! Let me tell you what a blackberry specifically like the one you carry, does to me from 10 meters away. It causes me heart palpitations, my eyes close down and the area in my brain near the forehead feels as if someone is crushing it. You explained in reply to Prof. Havas's question, that you put your cell phone away from your brain and use a speaker to suggest that this is `smart use'. There is no such thing since your cell phone harms other parts of the body as well and worse, it harms everyone around you especially those with EHS, just like second hand smoke. Your response was ridiculous and ignorant. The only conclusion I can arrive at from your response and actions is that cognitive dissonance seems to be a strong force in your work. I am sure you are trying to do important work as part of the `Elders', but frankly, I cannot see any greater humanitarian crisis that needs attending, as helping the largest group of refugees in the world, the people with EHS, especially since they have nowhere to go. I do not know of any other current humanitarian crisis that affects between 3-8% of the world. I do not know of any other group that everyone is so determined to ignore its existence including governments, the media and even `humanitarian' organizations like the WHO This criminal and intentional disregard is causing EHS sufferers to be tortured physically and mentally every minute of every day. What cruel hand is at work, falsely claiming these people are `crazy'? It is all because the existence of EHS is inconvenient to the rest of the world. If the "Elders' of this world are acting the way you do, then that explains why this world is in such a state. I may be rude, but I am never polite when it comes to people being oblivious to other people's suffering, especially those who are in a position to help, but don't. I did learn the lesson of what happened to my family in the holocaust because of inaction and obliviousness. While I was always quite direct, since I got this condition I am even more frank about my thoughts; I guess that complicated health problems and so much evil disregard around you, can make you bluntly honest. I know that many people share my thoughts, but would not dare saying these things especially in such bluntness considering your power and influence. But I, Dr. Brundtland, always preferred to be right rather than smart and I have nothing to lose, because of EHS I already lost everything there is to lose. I will quote another elder, Einstein, whom I always found extremely perceptive regarding human nature. He said: "The world is a dangerous place not because of those who do harm, but because of those who look at it without doing anything". Because you are using a cell phone even though you know the harm it causes to millions, and you do nothing to help those millions of refugees with EHS, you are guilty of both doing harm and doing nothing to help. True `Elders' would have made sure that people with EHS would first have a place to live without radiation before using their cell phones and harming them further. True elders would have told you that first and foremost, you need to `live by example' which you obviously don't! At least you should follow `Don't do to others what you don't want others do to you', but even this most basic ancient principle, you do not keep! Sincerely, Dafna Tachover A |

Nobody here is claiming that they are safe or don't cause symptoms, but they are (for some) one of life's "necessities". Also, to put things into perspective, a rarely used cellphone is safer than a neighborhood of smart meters. Marc |
No Marc. This is NOT silly. Coming from you, that is an insult. So what you are indirectly saying is, that even though you KNOW cell phone radiation is harming others, you've convinced yourself its okay...because YOU need to use your cell phone. I have to use an old 2G phone with a airtube, because of work. But i never carry it turned on anymore.
I could use it all day if i wanted, but im now very careful. I tell others that if its important they would have to leave a message, thats what voicemail is for! It has taken me 4 years to get to this point, and im not going back. Im stronger and and can cope with holding it away from me when using it, And to hold it near a window etc. And not in the car. We unfortunately live in this world and until Wireless Radiation is taken seriously as a problem, we have to make do. We have made our home wireless free, which makes so much difference for the body to recover over night. And of course controlling the "Fright and Flight mode", or our "first impression mode" that our bodies kick in to. when wireless is around. Breath it out, a Qi Gong method of dealing with energy. Thanks Marc for the link, I had been wondering what had become of Dr. Brundtland these days. I had heard that she was not an advocate for Essers. Hopefully, this will address some of my concerns.
Dafna is a very determined person who has been suffering for about 3.5 years or so. Recently, she has been through a great deal. I would like her to focus a bit on balancing her physical condition instead of only being concerned with avoidance. We are in the minority and will more than likely remain there. Which means we must take responsibility for our own well being and whatever that entails-- sheilding, nutrition, diagnosis, healing, detoxing and whatever we need to restore as much of our quality of life as possible. I wish you had mentioned in your reply to Dafna that your phone is only 2G and that you only use it for urgent situations. It's not like you're sitting around shooting the shit with your prized 4G Blackberry, iPhone or something ridiculous. But then again, if you choose to you certainly have the current right to do so-- just like people with heart conditions that choose to enjoy a pack of cigarettes per day. People commit suicide little by little everyday anyway. It's what we human beings in this era tend to do. You just sounded a bit perturbed at Dafna. I respect your ability to reason and make logic, Marc. You really shine that way. Have a great week! Marc, what type of cell-phone do you use? I might get one just for emergency purposes only. It would have to be like a speaker phone as getting one close to my ear causes an instant headache. Thanks. I would be happy for the most basic type.

Like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230786435662 TracFone has the best rates for "people who never use their cellphones". They've got a "refill card" that lasts for 365 days, and it has far more minutes than I will ever use in a year (800 minutes, I think). These phones typically cost $10 for phone, then the rest of the cost is the minutes. This particular model is 2G, and has a speakerphone. Coverage is via the Verizon network, which I find tends to work better "in the middle of nowhere" than AT&T. Although that probably depends on where you live. Marc |
Marc,
How do I find out how many G's my emergency cell phone is/has? It's a Nokia 2610 "candybar" basic phone. I've had it for maybe 4-5 years. Network is AT&T. It's pay-as-you-go, and I buy my refill every 365 days for $100 ($.25/minute, so 400 minutes), but only use a fraction of the minutes in a year. If I re-up the refill before it expires, the unused minutes carry over to the next year. Marc and the rest of you who are using cell phones:
R U sure you are on the right group? You are suffering from a severe case of Cognitive Dissonance!!!! You think it matters what cell phones you use? You may want to know that for some, the 2G are actually more intollerable than the 4G. And maybe you forgot that cell phones are requiring antennas...that transmit ALL the time whether you use your cell phone or not...and these antennas are put near children's rooms and everywhere so people with EHS have no where to live...You may want to read my other post 'Please Do Not Use Your Cell Phone to Email Me Or Call Me" http://ehsfighback.blogspot.com/2012/05/tell-your-family-and-friends-please-do.html --- In [hidden email], pamela clemonts <adiaha22@...> wrote: > > Thanks Marc for the link, I had been wondering what had become of Dr. > Pam > > > > > > --- On Mon, 5/7/12, Marc Martin <marc@...> wrote: > > From: Marc Martin <marc@...> > Subject: Re: [eSens] Read My Letter to Gro Harlem > To: [hidden email] > Date: Monday, May 7, 2012, 2:00 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > On May 7, Elizabeth thode <lizt777@...> wrote: > > > No Marc. I might help the situation. My never endings are hyper senstive from quitting benzodiazapines. I can feel the energy from anything that omits it. I don't feel anything when cell phones are off. But it I think cell phones might have some kind of energy from having an antenna period. With these high emf's any antenna will pick up something, no matter how small. We felt something from an old fashioned roof antenna, & had it removed. Felt pressure under the roof where it was.
