Hello,
Your 900 MHz analog operates at a different frequency than the digital, so you may get different results with digital, but I have heard that digital is worse than analog. It seems it may be a good idea not to use wireless home phone at all? Health over convenience is my approach. The more people who use cordless phones, the more the industry will
phase out landlines and make it harder for those of us who use landlines for health reasons. We should be encouraging everyone to use a landline for this reason. Yes, 900 Mhz is analog. Perhaps get two seperate units, one answering
machine and one phone if the combo units are typically wireless. Have you tried devices to help protect from EMF, like SpringLife Polarizer (www.bioharmonics.com)? That may also be an option so you can still use your existing digital answering machine. If the answering machine does not have a wireless phone, but says digital on it, it only means it uses microchips to digitally store your messages, so doesn't give off the same EMF as a digital wireless. Although the power supply & electronics may still have some EMF, just like a computer, but I believe not near as bad as wireless. Hello everyone
I agree with Sarah that if we don't keep on requesting phones with cords then there is going to be no choice for those of us sensitive to broadcast radiation from phones, phone bases, phone masts etc. I would advise anyone to keep away from DECT phones and mobile phones but if that is the only choice then they should fit a Biophone available from www.magnatech.ik.com this will reduce much of the harmful effects but the only way to eliminate potential problems involves removing yourself from "modern" society and the demand for instant access to everyone and everything! In a railway carriage the radiation from laptops, mobile phones etc rebounds within the carriage and in a study in Japan (reported on the EMF group site) the radiation levels were found to exceed the recommended maximum safe work place levels - this was for everyone in the carriage! My solution is to wear a Bioguard, this gives me general protection from the bombardment from passive radiation (like passive smoking). Ian |

Glenn,
Thank you very much.Sorry for late answer. So,mine was analog.I have to check the polarizers. I have severe CFS so that is why I am moving slowly. Thanks for the suggestion. I will check that. I did try the used phone with wire but unfortunately it did not work properly.I had to give it back.I will retry using my old phone. It is analog with digital answering machine.I will only use the answering machine of it and I will use another phone with wire for talking until I find a phone with wire. I noticed that digital technology also bothers me.I had bought a digital electrical heater this winter and I am very sorry that I got it it. It bothers me much more than my old standard electrical heater. Does that sound logical? Thanks so much for your help Best regards. I would assume that a digital heater just means it has a digital thermostat,
which itself may create EMF. I am not an expert in using meters to measure EMF (gauss meter), but I wonder if it may be useful to get one to test devices before you purchase, to check EMF output. Then there may be less surprises when you get home?
