I think best idea is to keep your distance from the unit use separate keyboard and mouse It is my experience and observation that a better idea is not to make your body part of an electrical circuit containing health-damaging frequencies. Use a laptop, on battery only. The moment you plug into dirty public or inverter-provided power, your body is exposed to damaging frequencies. In addition, the transformer built into your computer's power cord creates high levels of electrical pollution. (Those with the appropriate meters can easily verify this.) Shivani (& Drasko) - I ruled out Alt.Current as culprit. Here's why:
Because battery operated NIR LED massager caused me pain. Also the LED on my digicam - ditto. Rather, the common denominator culprit seems to be LIGHT RADIATION. Of course, intensity & proximity make it worse. Still, "shielding" or color-changing or covering or sunglasses may only help to a limited degree, if at all, as I've learned from both experience & testimonials. For example, Drasko testified in the following survey, that covering fluoresent lights didn't help him. So he ruled out "light" as culprit. However, that doesn't take into account that EMF'S OF LIGHT PENETRATES. http://www.freewebs.com/eclectives/survey.htm Minni --- In [hidden email], SArjuna@... wrote: > > Paul wrote: > I think best idea is to keep your distance from the unit use separate > keyboard and mouse > > It is my experience and observation that a better idea is not to make > your body part of an electrical circuit containing health-damaging frequencies. > Use a laptop, on battery only. I have no experience with the two gizmos you mention here. However, some battery-operated gizmos definitely do create harmful frequencies, so it cannot be assumed otherwise and is always worth metering. For instance, a battery-operated flourescent light I tried created horrible frequencies. I happened to turn it on in the same room as a radio on AM, and the radio made a horrendous racket. This is meterable with the Multidektor or some similar meter. Regards, Shivani Life Energies [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Laptop computers run on batteries, yet they contain an inverter which creates AC to run the flourescent backlight. In fact, I wonder if the inverter itself is the main problem for ES sufferers... Hi Marc and folks:
Yes, this is true. Battery operated laptops generate a wide range of AC (as in non-DC) singals (and therefore fields) -- ranging from about 100 Hz thru the audio and RF range, and thru the VHF and UHF range -- from the DC power, else they would not be able to operate. with care, --Vinny At 06:44 PM 10/12/2006, you wrote: > > I ruled out Alt.Current as culprit. A few weeks ago, a lady did visit us.
Because she did *feel* the electric wiring in our house, we went into the garden (the weather allowed it). I came withsome meters, but when I came close to her, sho got a red color on her head from the 9 V battery. I know another person who gets allergic reactions all over his body, when a person visits him with a mobile phone hidden in his pocket. As I always say; electrosensibles may have reactions to very tiny low levels of elektrosmog, which are sometimes very hard to measure. So, if you feel *something*, investigate everything that contains electricity, even batteries. It is a process of try and error.
