Re: Niacin to protect from EMF

Glenn Coleman
Hello all,

I continue to see improvements in my EMF tolerance while on niacin
megadosing (1500mg/day), plus folic acid 25mg.

In the past 3 days I've spent 8 hrs per day, with breaks, at computer
without feeling very sick. I did experience fatigue from the fact I was at
the computer for that long. At the end of the day, normally fatigue/EMF
symptoms from working on computer would drag on all night, and sometimes
into the next day. Now I felt fairly clear headed as soon as I sat down and
took a break at end of day, and could continue with other activites.

My only other major change is eating coconut oil on toast a few times a day,
which is supposed to be good for thyroid and metabolism, so that may be
contributing to my new well being. I notice my appetite increased
significantly and I'm metabolising food much faster. Improved thyroid (if
it is improved from coconut oil) may be contributing to less EMF symptoms as
well - keeping my chemistry in better balance.

Regards,

Glenn

Since it is megadosing I would say no its not safe for everyone, since
megadosing of any vitamin should be checked with doctor. In particular,
I've heard that people with diabetes need to be careful to monitor insulin
levels closely. Having said that, my doctor told me it is actually good for
diabetes under careful usage.

The primary use by medical doctors of niacin megadosing is for people with
clogged arteries, to open up arteries and clean out cholesteral. In my case
it is being used differently - for depression & detox. It is known to help
remove toxins from fatty tissues, and improve glutathione levels. I am
fortunate that it helps with EMF.

Glenn

Today I spent time in front of a full tower desktop computer with CRT
monitor, which I haven't done for about a year, since I normally use an IBM
Thinkpad with LCD. The higher levels of EMF completely rattled my nervous
system, more than I've felt in a long time. It rattled me so hard I felt
neurologically wiped out.

So I would like to qualify my improvements due to niacin, since niacin has
definitely helped me when around low EMF, but in prescense of high EMF I
have almost zero improvement.

So niacin seems similar to EMF protection devices, in that some devices help
some people to feel better, and while others feel very ill in front of those
same devices. "One mans medicine is another mans poison". So if you choose
to try niacin, use with caution.

Boy, just when I thought I was completely overcoming my EMF challenge a new
twist puts me back in my place! I'll have to re-evaluate how much EMF I can
safely tolerate to operate in a healthy way, or how much protection I need
to add to my environment.

Regards,

Glenn
