I have used homeopathy over 3 years and am very familiar with the reactions.
I am also studying homeopathy practice (informally) right now. It is practically unheard of to have a negative reaction that lasts 6 weeks. In my experience, if homeopathy causes a negative reaction, it lasts a few days at most. I am very curious what happened exactly. It might offer a clue on how to fix it. Are you still in touch with your homeopath? Or did you do it yourself? What does your homeopath recommend? What happened? What convinced you that it was the homeopathy that caused this relapse and not something else? If you wish to contact me privately, my email is [hidden email] . I am also in touch with many other homeopaths and can ask them for their recommendations if I have more details. Thanks, Helen |

I've had plenty of bad reactions to things where I've been assured that NOBODY ever has bad reactions to these things... sort of like having a bad reaction to florescent lights... :-) Marc |

Could it be that toxins have been pulled out of the tissue into the blood stream? My doctor says that blood cells live around four months. Unless something is done to take toxins out they will remain there and slowly go back into the tissue. Would Green Powders or maybe Cilantro Juice make things better?

It's possible, although due to the wide range of reactions, anything that can make someone better will also probably make someone else worse. So one should be very careful about the initial dosage (I sometimes take less than 1/10th of the recommended dosage!), and should stop if even the smallest amount causes a bad reaction. Lately I've been experimenting with Alpha Lipoic Acid... in local stores, I can find capsules that contain 600mg per capsule, but I've had to seek out smaller and smaller amounts in order to find something tolerable -- I've now even got 1mg capsules, which is an absurdly small amount! Hi Joni,
I would strongly recommend reconsidering homeopathy as a treatment modality as you've had such an adverse response to it. I went through 1.5 years of treatment with some of the most highly trained veteran homeopaths in the US. Three times it took me almost 2 months to recover from my response to a remedy. This occurred with M potency and Q potency remedies. Wanting to give them a chance and 'work with' the possible healing crises that we are notified about before the start of treatment, I finally had to recognize they didn't know enough to assist my case and say enough was enough. Unfortunately, nothing they tried was able to improve my condition, even in the long term. I have also studied homeopathy formally and am aware of how little information both the medical and non-medical homeopathic circles knows regarding ES in general via my time as a client, student, and through interviewing practitioners. My mother also has severe environmental sensitivities and easily gets destabilized from her fragile best health state by homeopathic remedies. Being an energetic level treatment, homeopathy can be quite rough for those who are energetically sensitive. I would recommend more physical level approaches such as those mentioned by Marc to get back to stability.
