being acute ES, should I be overly concerned with HAM Radio, I have
neighbour some 40mtrs from my house that has Ham radio plus large vertical antennea
in his garden, when I read this extract from sheildinf computers alrm bells
rang, what does this mean for me ?

HAM radio bands have best reception in the evening. It has something to
do with atmosspheric properties. So most international broadcasts beam
down on the U.S. in the evening. Chances are your neighbor, and other
HAM operators in your area are coomunicating in the evening hours. It's
one more source of RF to be aware of.

I live near a ham tower too. Also not far from local government antennas,
and a small antenna I have not yet identified. With an AM radio tuned to
the static
at the low end of the dial I hear a pulse every 10 seconds (sometimes 5
seconds).
Don't know why, and I hear it with all the power off in the house...

yes he uses 146mhz between 9-11pm and other frequecies ! just at the time
when the body startd to wind down and look to repair itself !! some say 10pm-2am
is optimum repair window.
