Re: Advice on what to do about EMF Sensitivity.

Hello all, my name is John. I have been a member of the ESens group
for over 3 years now. However, I have been a little too depressed to
post, nothing thinking anybody would be able to give me any advice on
my problem. Let me just tell you guys that I have EMF sensitivity. I
contracted this problem almost 4 years ago in October of 2003.

I have always been a rather sick person, being allergic to everything.
I have always had bad sinus problems--which I had two surgeries in
order to correct and everything else. I would have bouts of contact
dermatitis, and everything else.

Before October of 2003; however, I NEVER used to react to electrical
fields, I couldn't even feel that they were there. I used to be
normal in that regard, until I wound up getting a CRT computer monitor
that was too big for me to handle. Before this time, I had always
been able to function in front of a computer screen with no problem.
In my apartment, I had several computers, and never felt a thing.

That's why I had no clue what was to happen when I purchased a 29 inch
CTX computer monitor from ebay 3 1/2 years ago. After recieving the
monitor, and hooking it up in my room, within minutes, I felt my head
begin to hurt. Initially, I thought that it was eyestrain, so I just
took a little rest from the computer and went about my business.

However, every time I got in front of the monitor, my head would begin
to throb. At the time, I didn't know what EMF sensitivity was, so I
didn't understand what was going on. I just wanted to be able to use
the monitor that I had always wanted.

The head pain got so bad, that my temples would throb terribly. I
don't think that I had ever been exposed to that much radiation
before. The weird thing about it, is that no one else was affected by
the monitor. A friend of mine sat in front of that monitor all day
long and wasn't affected by it.

The only one affected by it was me. Trying to solve the situation, I
sold the monitor for a lot less than what I paid, thinking that would
solve the problem; but it didn't. The problem had already started,
and it has been hell to deal with.

I have tried everything to get this problem to stop. I even tried
NMT, which worked for another patient who had EMF sensitivity by my
practitioner. However, my problem doesn't seem to be helped by
anything. Thinking it was sinuses, I have gotten two sinus
surgeries--because my sinuses were really messed up--however, the pain
remains.

The weird thing about my problem, is that the pain seems to be coming
from the back of my gums where my wisdom teeth are located. Ever since
that incident, every time I get around anything electrical, the gum
tissue in the upper part of the back of my mouth tightens up, and that
is when all the problems begin. My gums have remained in this state
for 3 years.

The pain only improves when I am outside in fresh air, when I go to
sleep, when I take a shower, or when I brush my teeth and gargle. The
minute my body can sense those fields again, it does the same thing
all over again.

I can't seem to get it to stop reacting to these fields, and I don't
konw what to do. I have tried heavy metal detox, I have tried
gilligan joys regimen--well sort of, my diet still isn't that good--I
have tried all types of things.

I am depressed over the issue, because I can't seem to bring myself
any relief from this issue. My ES seems weird. I can go to a new
place full of electronics, and my body won't react at all AT FIRST.
After awhile, it will though, but not like it does at home. It is
almost as if my body knows what area I'm, and can sense when I am at
home, and this is the area where the bad incidient happened.

I am moving to another apartment soon, and I hope that it helps. My
problem came on my from an EMF overexposure, but I have always been an
ill person. I also have alot of bowel problems. My whole systems
seems to be messed up.

However, I can't for the life of me explain why my gums tighten in the
presence of emf. I have also had episode of feeling prickly, crawling
sensations on my face. My ES has improved alot since it first
happened. I used to experience severe eye irritation when it first
happened; however, that stopped. However, it is a serious painful
problem that I want to get rid of. I suspect that I may have
parasites, as well as leaky guy syndrome, and I wonder if this could
also contribute to my problem.

I just want to get back to where I was before this mess happened, as
this whole episode has made me want to throw in the towel. I need
some advice on what to do to get over this.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,
So sorry to hear of your frustrating problem. I was going to suggest it wasmercury in your
gums, since any metal will be a conductor for electricity. Some of my EMF symptoms seem
to start or end in my mouth too. I had my mercury fillings removed 5 years ago and I did 2
years of chelation, but still, I don't know if there isn't any still embedded there after a
lifetime of amalgams in 8 teeth.

Since EMF sensitivity seems to be related to nerves, I would suggest looking into
nutritional supplements that might help bolster your nervous system (see Gilligan Joy's
great website http://www.electrical-sensitivity.info/HealingAids6.html), and also
homeopathy. Homeopathy works on subtle energetic levels that might be good for EMF
symptoms. You would need to find a good classical homeopathist though. I don't
understand it completely, but I believe homeopathy reminds your body how towork
properly when it has forgotten.

Good luck!

Yes, I was thinking that too, but that would presume that
John once had a silver/mercury filling in that area. Even
after the filling is removed, there can be a grayish
tint to the teeth or gums left behind. This can be removed
with heavy metal chelators -- I saw on another group recently
that someone had gotten some of the gray to go away using the
zeolite supplement "NCD".

Hello everyone, thanks for the replies. To date, I only have one
filling, and that is one of the teeth in my bottom jaw. The only
place that appears to be giving me a problem are my back gums in my
upper jaw. I wonder if it has anything to do with my trigeminal nerves.

As aformentioned earlier, my ES is very, very weird. If I go
somewhere new, I could be standing in front a 50" screen television
with lights on everywhere, and I will be fine for a very long time.
Only when I am at home does it become unbearable. I really believe my
immune system is burned out. Like I said before, I have allergies;
terrible allergies, and I have been sick the majority of my life. I
also believe that I may have leaky gut syndrome, as I have been
having bowel problems for a very long time now. I am getting tests
done next month in order to see.

Its burning itself out trying to protect me from a nonthreating forces
in the environment. When its really bad, I will get a tingling
sensation all across my face. However that seems to be temporary, it
never stays if I get enough rest. The only thing that has been a
constant, has been the gum tightening in my upper jaws. That hasn't
stopped since 2003. Everything else has improved. When the incidennt
first happened, I had severe eye irritation; that stopped. I also
felt like somethng was lifting inside my head when I cut off an
electrical appliance. That has also stopped. My body has healed
itself quite a bit, but I can't understand why it won't stop this
accursed gum-tightening problem.

I think I might be able to beat this problem, but I don't know how to
give my body what it needs to recover. I have tried all types of
supplements, and I went out and bought many of the things Gilligan Joy
recommended. I really haven't experienced any improvement. However,
I also believe that I may parasites that are taxing my immune system.
I have a constant dull pain on the right side of my abdomen that has
been there for 2 years, and I have been under chronic stress due to
external factors for much longer than that. I think all of that stress
wreaked havoc on my digestive and immune system. When I have a bowel
movement, there is mucus in my stools, not all the time, but
sometimes, and I have broken out in rashes a countless number of times
for nothing. I frequently get body acne; something I never had before
I moved out to California; and I am allergic to many things. I also
have IBS.

Like I said, that monitor really gave me a serious dose of EMF
radiation. My body had never experienced something like that before.
Now, it treats everything that gives off an emf field like a foreign
invader.

Also, it becomes unberable in certain locations too, like on my living
room couch.

My immune system seems to be in total control of this. It can even
sense when I am somewhere new. It won't react right away when I am in
a new location. However, it always seems to be on guard; my gums
haven't loosened up in the upper back part of my jaw since 2003. They
loosen a little when I am asleep, in the shower, or outside. However,
they haven't totally been released in years.

One thing that I do know, is that if I don't get any rest, the ES can
get really bad. I can't figure out how to give my body the rest it
needs in order to correct this problem. It is not like I can sleep
all day.

Also, like I said before, I tend to be charged after taking a nap, or
getting alot of fresh air. Sometimes, I wonder if it is my apartment
that is causing the problem. That is why I am moving soon. My
apartment is old, with old carpet and everything else.

The minute I walk into my apartment, my body can sense that I am the
same environment where the incident happened, and it starts tripping
out; becoming constantly on guard for that extreme dose of EMF. The
only way I can help correct this problem, is if I move to another
apartment.

It has gotta be somehting that I can do to stop this stress response
by my immune system. Like I said before, it wasn't always like this.
I just want to get back to where I was before 2003, when the incident
happened. I am going to get tested for candida and other parasites as
well as gettingg a digestive stool analysis test done to see if I
have leaky gut--which I probably do. I believe if I can eliminate all
of these other problems that may go a long way in helping my
electrosensitivity.

Please get back to me anybody with any more ideas and suggestions; as
they are a great help.

Thanks,

John

Have you tested the electric fields in your home, /at your computer area?
electric fields cause skin irritations among other problems. And each
home is wired different and has varying fields.
