Hi Folks, I have talked alot about thyroid and body temps. When the thyroid is low, it is common to find that body temps are lowered. RF radiation is notorious for assaulting the thyroid gland. If you take your temperature every morning for 5-6 days in a row, add those temps up, and you will get an average body temperature. (you can google Barnes Basal Temperature) Anything under 97.6 means the thyroid is not working right. So, on top of just being cold all the time, what does this really mean? Dr. David Jernigan wrote: Low body temperature is the plague of the 21st century. People with low body temperature have a weak reaction to even the most ideal medicines and therapies. According to Professor Abo Touru of Nagata University our immune functions are improved by 40% when we increase our body temperature by 1 degree. When the body temperature is decreased by ONE degree: 36% of immune function declines! 12% of basic metabolism declines! 50% of enzyme activities decline! See: -Infrared Thermotherapy Heat Treatments | Dr. Sircus drsircus.com/.../far-infrared-thermotherapy-heat-treatments You can see from the above information just why thyroid status is so very important. (*Which is why I talk about this so much.) I will add here, that it is very important to address low adrenal status too. The thyroid and adrenal glands are best friends, they work together. When the thyroid goes down, the adrenals jump in to compensate. So what happens many times is, we dont hear them screaming for help, and they both go down. Why is this important? Because when the thyroid gland is low, very often the adrenal glands will also be low. And without this best friend information, those who try to support the thyroid gland and leave out the adrenal support, will often end up feeling worse, instead of better. The reason is, that the adrenals make the hormones that allow the thyroid to use the thyroid support. So if the adrenals arent making enough hormones, the thyroid cant use the thyroid support, and it ends up building up in the blood, not able to be absorbed. This is why people end up feeling like crap...their heart races, they feel anxiety levels go up, they can't sleep....the body is not able to USE the thyroid support, because the adrenals are to low. You can read about this from tons of patients at: www.stopthethyroid.madness.com The solution? To support the adrenal glands FIRST, and then 3-4 days, ADD in the thyroid support. What I found worked really well, were two products from: www.nutri-meds.com (I make no money here, I just love how well these two products work!) I like the Adrenal Cortex Plus, I take one tablet in the morning and one in the afternoon. And I love their: Dissicated porcine thyroid product. (I take two of these in the morning with my adrenal) Both of these are grass fed natural raw glandulars,- they are what the thyroid and adrenals would make, if they were healthy and able to do their job. Unfortunately, between all the wireless technologies that continually assault these two glands, and all the other environmental toxins (like fluoride in the water, chemtrails, pesticides, ect) the thyroid and adrenals are under so much stress, they are often unable to make enough of the hormones the body needs to be healthy. I have described these two glands as the engine and the transmission of a car. Ever see a car run if the engine isnt working? Or the transmission isnt working? To leave these two glands OUT of the Healing equation is like fixing a flat tire and ignoring the broken engine or transmission. I can personally vouch for what Lizzie is saying. From taking her advice, I bought some of the adrenal and thyroid support supplements (from the sister site to Nutrimeds in the UK). From not being able to be near the computer, even for five minutes, even using my projector and long, wired, keyboard and mouse, I am now able to go back to work full time. I could actually FEEL the adrenal supplement working, and within ONE HOUR I was pretty much ok to go back on the computer. I did have extremely extremely low temps after a day on the computer before, but now my temp feels fine at the end of the day. Really incredible and thanks again to Lizzie for highlighting how important this is. Have been searching for help for my ES for ten years now and this is the best thing I have discovered. Forget all the stupid pendants and protection systems (NONE of which worked for me!) - we need to attack our ES from the INSIDE out.

OMG....you are so welcome!
I am sooo happy for you Penny! That is truly amazing news! And every time I hear this kind of news from essers, who have taken my suggestions to "heart"... it makes my heart sing! when I came across this information that I just posted, it validated what I already knew. but sometimes, people will be more receptive when this same information I have been giving is put out by doctors. And that helps, even better! I had to learn this the hard way. It was not a good journey..... and that is why I keep nagging on the thyroid/adrenal supports, because I KNOW it helps the body tremendously. We are all under constant environmental assaults... and this really makes the immune system weakened. That article said it ALL! And thank you Penny for your wonderful feedback. I know this will help so many others. Have read also that if take temp. (underarm is usually llower then
by mouth) before get up and then also about 2-3 hrs after and about 4-5 times thru day , can get an idea if adrenal or thyroid. They said if vries a great deal then is also adrenal and if somewhat level but low is thyroid. Found some nutrient deficiencies can also cause low temps and low blood pressure (vite B1 ). I am always cold, so I know my thyroid is low and thyroid supplements have helped (I don't take it every day). What I would like to know, is it safe to take the adrenal glandulars if you know you have high cortisol levels?

Christine,
The high cortisol levels are from the low thyroid not being supported. These two glands work together, when one goes into distress, the other jumps in to help. So the adrenals, yours, are ramping up the cortisol levels to try to help the low thyroid. My suggestion would be to try the adrenal plus product I mention, go OFF the thyroid for a day (it is used up in the body within hours) then add in the adrenal cortex plus, do this for 3 days...then ADD in the right thyroid supplement. There are tons of thyroid supps on the market, but I can only vouch for those I have seen produce good /excellent results... which would be the porcine dessicated thyroid from nutri-meds. the reason "that" product produces the results it does,is because the thyroid gland makes NINE hormones.....and that is what is IN the above recommended thyroid raw glandular product. The same as the thyroid would be making, if it hadn't spent god knows how many years under severe stress. (and the adrenal cortex plus contains raw adrenal cortex glandulars, which I have not found in the majority of other adrenal supplements. ) For an analogy, if a car is low on oil, giving it gas isn't going to help those low oil levels... you have to replace whatever is low. My daughter also had very high cortisol levels, and when I put her on those two products I mention, everything leveled out wonderfullly. No more BIG belly, no more temperature fluctuations... no more sharp pains in her wrists, along with many other symptoms. We both take two thyroid , for her, it worked better to take the thyroid before bed, for me, I take mine in the morning with the adrenals. For those with low adrenals, (and high cortisol does translate to way over stressed adrenals) taking one in the morning, and one in the afternoon seems to do the trick. I, have to take two because my adrenals and my thyroid were rock bottom. My daughter's I caught pretty early.....the earlier this issue is addressed, the better. P.S. the thyroid and adrenals also require: Vitamin B's, specifically, B-6 and B-5...most people are low in B-12, so a good potent Vitamin B complex will work quite well. Two suggestions for this: www.wellresources.com sells both B complex and b 5, both work wonderfully and the 2nd suggestion ( a little less expensive) is: Pioneer B Complex stress formula from www.swansonsvitamins.com There is a really GOOD reason I like both of these B complex's. they both contain the RIGHT form of Vitamin B-6 ( Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate) Most B complex's contain an un usable form of B-6. The Pioneer does not contain as high of a level as the one from wellnessresources. But it does work very well. Dr. Russel Blaylock talks about this form of B-6 in his book: Health and Nutrition Secrets. I've yet to see one person, who tried either one of the above products, who didn't report they could tell the difference betweeen this B complex and the other ones they were taking. Thyroid also requires IODINE. The entire body requires IODINE. I like the stuff from: www.magnascent.com Best to start low dose, 1-3 drops in water....then gradually UP the dose. If your body is very sensitive to supplements, put the Iodine in your belly button. I have seen this method work wonders. There are many ways to get minerals, ect into the body.....via the skin by passes the Liver and goes straight to the cells. P.S. I forgot to add:
thyroid supps need to be taken every day. There are some rare exceptions, where some do well every other day... however, these hormones in the supps., just like when the thyroid makes them, are used up very quickly in the body. So if someone is low thyroid, and they are only taking the supps a few times a week, this means the thyroid will get help on the days the supp is taken, and no help on the days it is not taken, which is going to create a hellish cycle. And it only takes a tiny tiny bit of even ONE thyriod hormone to be low, to create a huge domino effect of health problems in the body. That is HOW important the thyroid gland IS! Just consider: a car with a leak in the oil system. ONe day we put oil in it..it runs fine. the next we forget.....it doesn't run so well, does it? How about gas? Let the car run out of gas...how far are you going to go?
