Hi there. I am new to the group and I have severe electromagnetic hypersensitivity to Wifi, Smart meters, mobiles, microwaves, hotel key cards etc I also react to electricity (washing machine, hair dryer etc). I am a foster carer so am lucky enough not to have to go to work in an office (which I would find impossible to do anyway) so I can minimise my exposure a great deal. i live in a semi detached house and unfortunately my neighbours family are a very techy family so I react to all their mobiles, dect phone and wifi. I am about to protect our adjoining walls with the blocking paint and earthing but am not sure where to purchase these from and how to go about doing it all plus am a bit worried about doing it as I have reacted to lots of different protection methods in the past. I have recently bought a puppy for my daughter who is 7 and has Microcephaly and Autism amongst other complex needs. She adores the puppy and he is actually calming her so well. Trouble is, I am reacting big time to the microchip embedded in the puppy. The chip is from Identichip and transmits and receives and they say on their website that it is only active when the scanner is used on it. This is not true as my EMF symptoms are definitely connected to the puppy so the chip must give off a continual weak signal. I am going to take my puppy to our vet and ask about getting the chip removed. I know that since 2010 it is a legal requirement to have dogs chipped so I am at a loss really of what to do as I doubt our vet will remove it. Sky would be devastated if we had to move her puppy on as we had been preparing her for itvfor months and she finds it very difficult to make and keep friends x She is our only child (adopted) and has been through a lot so I just want her to be happy. Any advise as to how to go about getting the chip removed and have you heard of anyone in the same position? I would be so grateful to hear from you. Kind wishes Jo 🤓 I live in Liverpool UK

Sometimes you can find vets who ignore the rules, and may be willing to remove the chip. Probably that would be a holistic/alternative vet, if you can find one in your area. Maybe a vet who believes that these chips cause cancer in animals.
I don't think I've ever heard of people reacting to a pet's microchip, although we do occasionally see people react to the chips in credit cards, work ID badges, etc. They are transmitting, but I suspect there is something about the materials used and their interaction with the environment that you are reacting to. I'm sure that there is probably something else that could be done about this, but not sure what to recommend. There are energetic devices that may neutralize the adverse effects, and also things that you can do to improve your own health so you are not so sensitive. But certainly removing the device is probably the best solution, if you can. Marc |

> They are transmitting
Sorry, I meant to say that they are NOT transmitting, at least not in the traditional sense. However, you can still react to things that aren't transmitting wirelessly.. Marc |

I bought a chip that can be taken off the cat (it is used as a pendant).
Can't you convince the vet you will put that on your dog instead of an implanted chip, because you are concerned with the dog's health? And then when you come back home, you simply take the chip off? I bought it in ebay or amazon, here in Europe, so you will find the chip. Very inexpensive. I don't know if you can record other information inside it than the code of the cat flap though... |
