Presenting the facts on RF

Hey folks,

With the articles coming out recently, it's obvious we have a way to go in educating skeptics about the dangers of RF... It's
interesting when someone takes a side, they often will use "evidence"
that supports their position and will ignore the other side of the
story. WHO has listed RF (microwave radiation) as a possible carcinogen,
same as DDT, lead, etc, but articles that use the WHO stance on ES don't mention that side of it. WHO
hasn't made the leap from seeing that RF can be dangerous, to recognize people
around the world are experiencing health problems because
of it, but they will in time I think. I know what I've experienced personally, and there's no question that I see cause and effect with RF and my health, but we are in the vast minority of those who can see this clearly...

These misleading articles and skeptics use research that say they find no cause and effect with RF and ES. There's a lot of research on both sides though. I wonder, what studies are funded by telecom, governments, and what are independently funded?  Are they biased or faulted, or are they well researched and carried out?  I've come across such information or accusations occasionally, but it's scattered on different sites.

I've been looking for a site that lists ALL the research done, and I'd like to actually read the conclusions of the studies, not just hear about them by hearsay.  Does such a site exist or partially exist?  Seems such a site would help educate the skeptics.

I'd love to hear any thoughts or suggestions about this...

Tim

Well, considering that a recent ex-director of the WHO
was suffering from ES (and had banned cellphone use in her
office), I'd think that they certainly ARE aware of ES...

Hi Tim,

For a very comprehensive treatment of the subject try http://www.magdahavas.com/.  I doubt any single site will have _all_ the research.  But this one is very good.  Lots of 'objective' info.  Many links.

Another excellent resource is http://www.c4st.org/ which is growing rapidly.

Let me know what you think.

:)  well, i guess that's how things gain credibility -
when the decision-makers are afflicted by it themselves.
i remember a board member sweating at a public utility
meeting in eugene oregon because he had a pacemaker
and he put 2 and 2 together and got 4… if they don't
allow cellphones around heart patients in the hospital,
then…  he got it.  :)  he also retired from the board.

Hi HJR,

Thanks for the links... Interesting they are both Canadian, eh?  It's nice to see our neighbors so well organized. I have come across these sites, and they do have some research links.

I've heard reference to thousands of studies out there, so I guess I should reframe that statement, that I'd like to see a site that catalogs all major research studies. :-)

Tim

I understand she stepped down after one term, so they are aware but seems there's a way to go with the WHO...

Tim,

What I was actually thinking about was "Zory's Archives" from magdahavas.com.  Dr. Zory R. Glaser is a former US Navy researcher, NIOSH manager & Advisor to the FDA:

http://www.magdahavas.com/category/from-zorys-archive/

Perhaps access to the entire archives (if there's more) would give you more or less what you are looking for[?]

Thanks HJR... I've begun to sift through some of the unclassified military documents out there.

Yes, Zory's Archive looks like a great resource of early research. It's fantastic they've been able to copy original documents. Lots to explore here...
