Hi, My girlfriend has EHS and lives up in the hills in Derbyshire, UK. She has a helper who has just left a msg saying that one of her husbands friends face flushes in front of the computer and apparently also has a braintumour. She is going to see them, to find out more. Just wondered if anyone knows if there is a database where such info can beadded to, if there is a criteria list where he can answer questions. Think it is really important that databases of people with this sickness from mild to severe disease starts to be made so that health professionals can access it to understand the growing manifestation of the problem, which can then be fed on to the policy and decision-makers, to balance off the naysayers of the industry and their stooges. My hairdresser physically throws up in front of a computer, an advocate I have met recently felt so physically ill with her new smart phone she had toget rid of it, with no previous sensitivity. I have removed all our dect phones at home and work (my boss had one by his bed and has suffered heart arrythmia and fuzzy head for 1.5yrs, feels much better now), and wireless, only use cellphones handsfree on speakerphone at 3-4ft away. I have friends that have moved to new house that has internal house readings of 1500-3500µW/m2 on a Cornet meter, I feel uncomfortable there if in these rooms. Have mentioned it to them, but they, like most people are wholly sceptical. Will be sad if in couple years if they start to get sick as they have also just bought new iphones and both work in IT. I am very surprised that any of the people on this forum still use cellphones at all if you get sick. Am following others posts avidly to learn as much as possible to help my girlfriend. Regards to all Charlie |
Hi Charlie,
This friend of your girl friend may have carcinoid cancer. It is terminal and has many symptoms the same as our symptoms. I know this because I was mis-diagnosed with carcinoid cancer for awhile. The brain carcinoid cancer is certainly terminal. They thought I might have a glandular or organ carcinoid, (since I had many gut problems, as well), so they went on a hunt with endoscopy/etc, because that type of carcinoid cancercan sometimes be stalled. What my docs found was I had celiac disease! My doc started doing searches on cd and found my symptoms could all be caused by it instead--blood-brain barrier problems leading to cerebellar ataxia and other brain dysfunction, lung problems leadingto scarred lungs, liver disease leading to scarred liver, serotonin dumping.... Well, a decade has passed since I was given less than 5 years to live, so I am guessing it was celiac disease all along. lol I hope that is the case with your girlfriend's friend, but she should know it might not be and not give him false hope. It is not healthy for people to not embrace the truth from another person perspective--he needs theemotional support of those around him, supporting what he has been dxed with. Also he needs to resolve his feelings in the face of impending death. In his situation, he may have already had brain scans to determine whether there is a tumor there, so if one was found, his red complexion is due to the cancer. Many of our symptoms are similar to terminal carcinoid cancer. People like to grasp at straws in the face of death, but dealing with death, if you are truly dying, should be a time of peace and closeness with the people you love, not an on-going search for the next miracle cure. What I am saying here is, the truthin his case is knowable. If the brain scan indicates a tumor, then he has a tumor. It is likely a carcinoid tumor which has similar symptomology to celiac disease plus ANS plus ES (which can exist, in my case, together). That said, I hope they find no tumors, Diane/Evie --- On Fri, 6/11/10, blagrongra <[hidden email]> wrote: From: blagrongra <[hidden email]> Subject: [eSens] Potential EHS and Brain Tumour To: [hidden email] Date: Friday, June 11, 2010, 12:00 PM Hi, My girlfriend has EHS and lives up in the hills in Derbyshire, UK. PS, Sorry, Charles, I misread--I thought the helper's husband was your girlfriend's friend.
