OT: TV noise (wasNew TV Advice)

Paresh
Hi - I know this is OT but you guys have a lot of experience. If you have any insights I wd appreciate it.

I have a new Vizio flat panel TV - internet ready - & there is an intermittent creaking/ticking noise coming from the plastic adjusting to the temperature. Very distracting when I listen to music. It continues for 20 min when the TV is off as it cools. They sent a repairman who tightened some screws & that's all he could do. Is this normal with all TV's? I want a replacement or refund . I like the TV otherwise - no emf problems - & don't know if a replacement would be the same. It's my first flat screen TV so I have nothing to compare. Thanks!!

blessings,
Charles/Paresh

Hmmm, I've never heard of such a thing... my Panasonic and Sony flatscreen TV's
don't do that... unless I'm hard of hearing... :-)

I don't think it's normal. We got our 1st  flat screen LCD & it's quiet. I feel hardly anything from it. I felt more w analog.

Did  you buy one that's not wi-fi capable?

Kathy
