New member - Introduction

Stewart A.
Hi,

I've been lurking, mostly because I can't leave the computer on very long, But
I would like to introduce myself.

Someone asked someone else "what have you tried".
Well, my saga began 13 years ago, and I have tried many things, and
accumulated several meters.

I WAS a computer programmer/engineer/technician who grew up downwind of
refineries, and between BPA's (Bonneville Power Association) largest voltage,
powerline corridor and another distribution line along the road.

After a decade of exposure to dirty power and electromagnetic smog at my job,
plus chemical insults like ant killer, outgassing, etc. in my cubicle,

My trigger to overload, in 1993, was installing a network at a co-generation
plant, next to the pulp-paper mill. The transformer yard was RIGHT NEXT to the
office building. Thus began the headache that would not end. (1 year of
migraine 24/7, then 6 years of 24/7 headache.)

After 4 months of worsening symptoms, I was physically unable to do my job,
and had to retreat to the barn and woods behind a stable. I am fortunate I had
been re-visiting my childhood brush with horses, and so had somewhere to fall
back to. Of course, I also discovered how sensitive I was to fly spray. one of
many, aka multiple chemical sensitivity.

My first clue as to what was wrong, was when driving under power lines
perpendicular to the road, my pain levels would spike.

After 6 months of trying normal doctors, I finally found a homeopathic Dr with
electro-accu-pressure-testing (EAV) and thus started the path to detox, and
healthier diet.

One year passes, I'm told I must change my environment to heal. Buy a travel
trailer, and search for a quiet place. Next problem. Trailer is noisy, and has
terrible transformer and "noisy" fridge.
(I traded it for a better trailer, and disconnected many wires.)

Skipping many details, I found a rural farm and cleared trails for 4-H club,
and followed cows on horseback. I didn't chase them or do more than walk,
until my head was not feeling inflamed and bruised. That took many years.

I felt best when the county power was off, otherwise I could feel the power
from 1/4 mile, and was better in the woods. For reasons that now seem obvious,
trees and valleys block wireless reception.
I could also feel cel-phones and microwave ovens from 300 ft.
Towers started going up, and I could feel them at 1.5 Mi.

Parents finally sold and moved, and I picked a very rural place with no towers
within 9 Mi.

My main concerns now, are the spreading of wireless, and trying to increase my
shielding from it. Also, my "quieter" computer is bothering me more. (after
trying several motherboards and video cards, they are sure different in their
emmission patterns)
Power supply is also one with EMF filtering.

Best monitor I found, is Planar PL1700.

I'm trying the D battery, alkaline. Don't notice any difference.
Also trying the Quantum Power conditioner. I feel more pressure, so am not
sure that is helpful.
I find the Stetzer AC filters help a lot, but can't get the noise levels any
lower. (see other post)

Using the Zap Checker, I can measure RF coming from the keyboard and mouse.
That's why holding the mouse hurts my hand.

Very interesting is pointing the Zap Checker at my hand, and then rotating so
as to present a different "antenna" arm toward, say, the computer. On some
days, it doesn't move much, but on some days... wow, way up, and higher
sensitivity. Anybody have any ideas why the body is more receptive to picking
up noise on some days more than others?

Another thing I have found very helpful, is the shielded canopy over the bed.
Really helps sleep at night.
Also, it is the only place in the house where my body voltage (mV AC setting
on any multimeter) can go to zero (without touching ground). Testing body
voltage really shows in what locations I am reacting to something, mostly AC
power, noise on phone line, and most metalic things not grounded.

Brain is getting foggy, so can't think of anything else for now. Time to shutdown.

Please ask questions.

Wow. Great story. I thought I had it bad.
The Graham Stetzers buzz when they are overloaded. Adding more will
lesson the sound unless you can still feel them working.
Thanks for giving some of your history.

Hi Stewart,

Welcome to the group.

I'll ask some questions:

* do you still have metal dental work in your mouth?
* what supplements are you taking for detox?

It seems like you're doing plenty in the area of avoidance, but
I'm not sure about what you're doing in the area of rebuilding
your health.

As for head pressure caused by the Quantum power conditioner,
that does sound like a toxin mobilization symptom, so you
may need to take something extra to bind to toxins so that
they make their way out of the body instead of circulating
in the bloodstream.

Re: New member - Introduction

Hi Marc,

I had my mercury fillings removed early last year.

Head pressure has been a primary symptom associated with
headaches/sensitivity and power lines/wireless since the beginning.

For 9 years I had Barlean's Greens, until they changed the formula 2
years ago, then it did not agree with me.
I continue eating flax oil with (homemade) yogurt. I hardly eat any
supermarket food.
Still can't get my pH higher than 5.8

I have been taking Chlorella capsules by Mercola since the fillings came
out.

Sounds like a good possibility, what else is good for binding toxins??

Thanks,
Stewart

My personal experience from years ago was the chlorella
capsules made my ES much worse. They even contributed to the
head pressure symptom. I don't know if it's because
the dosage was too high, or if the chlorella is contaminated
with heavy metals, or what. But discontinuing the chlorella
capsules would be my recommendation, or taking an extremely
small dose (like 1/2 capsule a day).

Barley grass is fine, though.

> Sounds like a good possibility, what else is good for
> binding toxins??

There are lots of things that are supposed to be good
at binding toxins and getting them out of the system.
Whether or not they'll work for you is anyone's guess
-- they've been rather hit & miss with me.

Kelp contains algin, which is supposed to bind to toxins.
Some companies even sell an algin extract. I don't have
any specific recommendations on a product -- I've taken
Seasilver for years, and like it, but I'm sure that there
must be a cheaper option. There's also a capsule called
Seagreens which seems okay.

Activated charcoal is supposed to be good for binding
toxins. I tried this once and didn't notice it doing
much. I tried it years later and had a bad reaction to
it, so go figure.

Bentonite clay is supposed to be good for absorbing toxins.
You can apply this to the skin, let it harden and then
wash off, although this is kind of a pain. Some people
put it into their baths, although I haven't tried that.
Some people take it internally. I've tried that -- again,
at one time I felt it do nothing, at another time (and
another brand) it made me feel worse.

Apple pectin is supposed to bind toxins. I eat an
apple every day, so I'm certainly getting it, although
I have no concrete evidence that it works.

Antioxidants are an area worth looking into -- I never
had any luck with Vitamin C, Vitamin E, etc., but there
are some really strong ones out there (Megahydrin, Mega-H,
Amrit) that do help me out when I'm feeling bad.

Fatty acids are also worth looking into, as they protect
the nerves. Sources that have worked for me are
evening primrose oil (capsules), borage oil skin cream
(both are good for face burning symptoms), perhaps eggs
if you can stand them, maybe some dairy products (I'm
drinking organic raw milk from grass-fed cows these
days, and while I certainly see energy/immunity benefits,
I don't see any ES benefits).

Soil-based probiotics like Primal Defense also seem
good at binding toxins. Actually, they probably
eat them! :-)

Some companies sell foot pads which are supposed to
pull out toxins from your feet overnight -- I had
a bad reaction to one, so didn't continue. Some
practitioners offer a therapy where you put your
feet into a bucket of water with a gadget inside
that pulls out toxins into the water via ion exchange
or something. Again, I don't have much experience
with that, but I did try it twice and didn't notice
much.

Oh, also colonics and enemas are good at flushing out
stuff from the liver and intestines and prevent it
from recirculating into the bloodstream, but that
requires a bit more effort than some people want to
spend! They do work, but the effects are rather
temporary and may not be worth the effort/cost.

Back to the chlorella, they also recommend Chitosan as
an alternative to chlorella, although I've never tried
that.

One supplement I've had good luck with is a rather high-priced
mixture of chlorella and cilantro called NDF. Just be
careful with the dosage -- one drop every day or two
may be plenty to start with, otherwise you may end up
with headaches. Eventually (as in months/years), you'd
probably be able to ramp up to a normal dose. But I've
tried about a dozen heavy metal chelators, and this one
is the one that seems to have the most benefits and least
amount of nasty side effects for me.

Microhydrin since 1999. Check. 1-2 capsules daily. Definitely has
improved my energy level. Not quite fatigued all the time like in the past.

Flax oil, raw goat milk products. Check.

Probably could start another thread with this, but... When we switched
from cow milk to goat milk in 1980, my brothers that grew their adult
teeth (on goat milk) have never had a cavity, whereas their baby teeth
were terrible.

Thanks Marc. I'll have to look into the other suggestions.
