New Here

mrmanatee123
Hi everyone, I just joined this group because I got a smartphone and it's been bothering me.  I've always had electrical sensitivity since I was a kid -- watching too much TV would make me ill, and then when I was older spending too much time on the computer or texting too much would make me get confused, light headed, nauseous.  I am having a lot of trouble concentrating right now so I'll keep it short for now.  What do I need to do to start getting detoxified?  What is the path that any of you have taken to deal with electrical sensitivity?  I've found the amounts that I could tolerate of TV and computer, and don't have a problem with them anymore.  But my phone has caused this flare up an I feel messed up.  I just want to find a way to live with this.  And unfortunately I need the phone for my job.

Unfortunately, detoxifying is a long-term solution, and you might need something that
helps more immediately.  Do you have metal dental work or metal in your body from
past surgeries?  Or do you wear a lot of metal on your person (including eyeglass frames)?
Reducing metal around your body is very helpful.

It seems like some people with ES have mercury accumulation problems, so
mercury dental fillings should be removed by a "mercury-safe" / "holistic" dentist,
and you should stop eating sushi, fish, etc.

Also, for your work, do you need to use that specific phone?  Some phones seem to
be far worse than others.  For example, I find iPhones to be the worst of all of the
phones in terms of ES (and the iPhone 5 is the worst of the worst).

Also, if you can turn off some of the functionality of the phone that requires constant
processing and wireless activity (GPS, etc.), that would help.

Also, reducing your other EMF exposures might indirectly help your tolerance
for your phone.  So, replacing florescent lights with incandescent lights, replacing
your wi-fi with ethernet, etc. replacing dimmer switches with regular switches can
help.

There are also "EMF protection devices" sold for phones, although these tend
to not help people with ES much.  I've had luck with items from Quantum Products -
in this case, perhaps a Quantum Companion might help for when you are on
the go, or a Quantum Home/Pro would help for areas that you spend a lot
of time in.  There are also phone-specific devices, but I've seen few reports
of these helping (and those few usually come from people who are selling
them!)
